I had a 2nd degree tear, which has healed up fine, but at one end is v painful (jumped off the couch when nurse/doctor/gynae have taken turns to poke it) - no chance of dtd. Gynae doc thought it was due to slow healing/oestrogen-less vag because of bf. So trialling oestrogen pessaries for 2 months.

Big fat boast though - she said I had excellent tone Grin. I nodded and said yes, yes I do my pelvic floors. Didn't mention that in fact I forget, and that good tone must be due to holding on to wees for 2 hours whilst pinned to sofa!

TheDetective · 17/05/2013 20:30

Grin Nice tone Grin.

Sounds like different issues to what I'm having. Though that does make sense. Hope it starts to make a difference soon!

Passmethecrisps · 17/05/2013 20:34

Hola!

^Sun is shining the weather is good, yeah!
Makes you wanna move those dancing feet.^

Hallo egg. Catch that baby!

I rarely get an unhurried coffee or a wee at work. I once popped in to the loos to come out and realise that a crowd of boys had been standing there waiting for me to come out because they wanted to talk to me. I was very Blush but they were entirely non-plussed.

I am holding out for PR's assessment of p going into childcare. I actually wonder sometimes of spending all her time with me might hold her back - socially and/or emotionally. I am not saying I won't greet when I hear of things she achieved without me watching but I think it will be good for us all.

Thank you VQ for your lovely words earlier. P's fine, I'm fine, we are all fucking awesome.

We went to the park today. P was on the swings then watched children play while shrieking in excitement.

She ate a fair bit of cereal mixed with her milk. Ironically it was the only thing I didn't want to eat myself but she seemed fairly impressed. Toast and carrot purée for lunch was also fairly successful

Thanks sophia for e lentil recipe. I will give that a couple of weeks but deffo try it. Your house looks amazing by the way!

Poor poorly fanjo BP. I hope the hormonal shiz chills out though.

stunt we have one set f bed clothes so when the bed is changed the mattress gets aired. We bought a mattress when I was pregnant that needed turned every week for the first 3 months then every season. Hasn't been turned in a looooooooong time. Should do that really. I am asthmatic but am massively slutty about things like dust. I wonder why I wake up wheezing - might be to do with the dust bunnies the size of P's head (which is fucking enormous BTW) next to the bed.

Pikz · 17/05/2013 20:40

Just come for a collective quiche hug as I need one.

Another weekend another fucking night away from my boy Hmm

LuisGarcia · 17/05/2013 20:48

{Pikz}

Brockle · 17/05/2013 20:55

huge hug pikz

Pikz · 17/05/2013 20:57

Thank you.

How's the knees luis?

How are you brockle?

The worst bit is this one involves surfing lessons and then worst of all a nightclub. I like old man pubs.

Passmethecrisps · 17/05/2013 20:58

for pikz

ChasingDaisy · 17/05/2013 20:59

Oh pikz Sad. Hugs x

pig I will miss you when you go back to work!

Passmethecrisps · 17/05/2013 20:59

Another vote for old man pubs. Hate clubbing, hate cocktails, not a fan of dancing. Love quiet pubs.

TheDetective · 17/05/2013 21:02

Went to bed at 7.40. Awake at 8.50. Twice. DP now dealing with second wake up as it was his fucking fault.

So tired. So fed up. We get no stretch of sleep at all. I never know when to go to bed as he wakes so much.

I'm ready to crack up. It's getting worse and worse.

BigPigLittlePig · 17/05/2013 21:03

Chasing it is a good job I don't have a fancy phone. Otherwise patient care might suffer as I browsed the web fuelled my MN addiciton instead of checking blood results yawn

Pikz · 17/05/2013 21:05

Pass I soooo agree... Have shrugged the cocktail dress off for skinny jeans and sparkly top... If this wasnt my sister in laws hen do I would not be going. I'm a party pooper aren't I!

Btw pass you are an ace mum and your house sounds like so much fun.

Det you ok? Big hug

Chasing how's you?

Just went up to see LO and he's so tired from crawling round cot in grow bag he'd passed out nose down! Have just flipped him as his head wasnt even to the side!!

Elizadoesdolittle · 17/05/2013 21:06

Sorry have been a bit absent of late. Was at a friends last night enjoying a take and a bit -lot- of Wine. I settled E before I left but she woke about 10pm and was quite hard for DH to settle her. He bought her downstairs and she went off after a while so he put her back to bed just gone 11pm. Well she then slept till 8am so worked for me!

Today started off really shitty. I totally smashed up the side of the car on a metal gate when dropping DD1 off to preschool. Then just had lots of general shitty things go wrong including E pulling her tube out. So I was in a foul mood. But the day improved in the afternoon thank god. E weighed in at an impressive 14lbs 10.5ozs. We can drop one tube feed and reduce the others by 10ml so it's a start in getting rid of it completley. And DD1 got a place in the nursery I wanted her to go to in September so am a happy bunny now.

Am impressed by quiche babies attempting to crawl. E isn't anywhere near that. She has rolled over before but hasn't done it for ages and she isn't anywhere near sitting up alone.

pikz Hugs Sad

BigPigLittlePig · 17/05/2013 21:06

Oh yeh meant to say det, I was idly perusing AIBU when I came across a fred about a sleepy, non-waking dp which I began to read, all the while thinking "this sounds familiar" - at which point I noticed the name of the OP...it would be the same in Piggy Palace, which is another of my arguments against switching to ff, as I know dh would just sleep through the bloody lot.

Pikz · 17/05/2013 21:07

Wow well done E! Fab news but sorry about the car.

Bplp will you be my doctor? If let you mn!

Pikz · 17/05/2013 21:08

Bplp DP does less now its formula then when I bf!!!

ChasingDaisy · 17/05/2013 21:08

Detective exactly the same here Sad. Nightmare to get down and only took one measly oz. Awake an hour later and now won't go back in his damn cot. P now dealing with it. I'm not sure how much more I can take of this.

pikz I'm tired. See above Grin I hate clubbing etc now, did it all at uni and would now be happy to never do it again. I don't even drink.

TheDetective · 17/05/2013 21:09

Grin Yes, I intend to show it to DP. Who can sort his fucking arse out, because I am so fed up it's unreal. Fucking tossing men man.

ChasingDaisy · 17/05/2013 21:10

Actually detective exactly the same here. 7.40 asleep and 8.50 awake. So we have synced cycles and our babies have synced fucking crap sleeping habits.

PetiteRaleuse · 17/05/2013 21:12

Not sure what you mean pass ? I'm not against childcare...? And I prefer pubs to clubs. Not that we have either of any note here.

pikz hugs.

No crawling here. We've only just managed rolling and LO is 7 months this weekend. To be fair on her she's either on our knees, in her high chair or in the playpen. I can.t give her free rein on the floor yet because it's never clean enough DD1 is too enthusiastic.

TheDetective · 17/05/2013 21:12

It sounds mean, but if he was working FT, I'd feel differently. But he isn't. And now he's on additional paternity leave.

There are two of us, and one baby. And one of us is permanently exhausted and isn't leaving the house anymore. That doesn't sound right to me. I only get dressed on thursdays these days. As baby group/slimming world is on that day. So that's it. A week between washing my hair and getting dressed.

Not good.

Kyzordz · 17/05/2013 21:13

Hugs pikz

Have some hugs too detective sounds like you need them!

I ordered a blw book to help me with the whole finger food meal thing and it arrived today. Must say I'm finding it quite an interesting read. Though now I'm hoping I am not hindering his chewing and swallowing by feeding both puree and finger foods.

feeding is still going well. Messy and fun and I'm trying not to be too uptight about it. He ate tea today. I had to give him a loaded spoon as he refused to let me feed him but he ate lots this way! It was chicken casserole. He didnt have any meat but had the juices of the meat/veg/stock with potato.

for lunch tomorrow I hope to give him two cubes of sweet potato with half a cube of parsnip.

Have almost an hour to kill. Should do laundry really.

TheDetective · 17/05/2013 21:13

Sorry for the shitty sleep cycle going your way chasing. Clearly our O's have had words with each other. Scheming babies!

Passmethecrisps · 17/05/2013 21:17

Me neither PR that was what I was saying - I think P will thrive. Was I being a bit thick in how a wrote that?
