Will try and remember what i can...

Kyz you're amazing Thanks

Cacacaz congratulations Thanks

Erm...

I came down with a migraine last night - just what you want in the middle of music night at youth club - threw up on the way home and couldn't look at a screen all night. Luckily R slept till 12, 12:30-3:30 when i fell asleep with him in the chair Blush back down 5-6 then 6:10-7 when dp took him downstairs. I woke up naturally for the first time in months Shock

Looks bad written down but actually a much better night from R's point of view just mummy that's shit :o

Detective that is beyond stupid! I would be furious!

Night not too bad here. Poor J could not eat this morning due to snot. Cannot find sodding nose spray!

Great news Cacacaz.

Oh yeah, for those with crap P's - Clarella and Det - withholding meds and not changing nappies are, technically, abuse according to the UN Rights Of The Child. Not that i think your partners are abusive but it might help you put the wind up them a bit Wink

Morning! Good night here, stirred at 4 due to cunting coughing, but stayed asleep and got me up at 6:50, which I won't complain about

Brew for the bad nights

Congrats caca!

Hey horsey! Sorry to hear of illness and regression, hope both fuck off soon

det I'd be fuming!!! Surely changing his arse was a pretty basic thing?! O has been about long enough for him to remember surely? Hopefully he won't forget in future though now after you've fumed at him and I'm guessing you would have lol!

Got mil visiting today, and need to go shopping. Anything that might be useful for me to pick up for weaning? I've got puréed things, I think I need fresh versions for steaming. What would one do with a butternut squash as finger food? Or don't you bother? I know you can do sweet potato wedges. Was gonna grab broccoli too even though I didn't purée any, see if he likes it like chasings o. Thought fruit wise I could get melon, mango, papaya, banana, apple and pear? Then veg wise carrot, parsnip, sweet potato, butternut, broccoli, normal potato?

He'll be allowed bread stuff and yoghurt/dairy too wont he? Any particular types? Or shall I still leave those alone for a bit?

What's everyone else up to? Millions of questions from the zordz today!

Report
wannabedomesticgoddess · 03/05/2013 08:47

Kyz I will just be roasting the butternut squash. I peel and chunk mine before, some people just cut it lengthways and scoop out the seeds, then chop it once roasted.

I am doing that for S today. She wont eat any I bet, will puree and freeze some too.

I have similar questions about bread. When can that start? Dairy I know is after 6 months, but shes a week off, does a week matter?

Has anyone found a portioned yoghurt thats not full of sugar? I think full fat big tubs of plain are probably best for us for now.

Report
PetiteRaleuse · 03/05/2013 08:49

He's allowed wheat and dairy yes but look out for intolerance so don't introduce both at once? As low sugar, natural but pasteurised dairy as possible. VQ mentioned mixing home made fruit purée with natural yoghurt which makes sense. Other than that your list is pretty complete :) with the squash you could do wedges like sweet potato I think.

But remember they only eat tiny amounts, so buying all that at once might be a waste?

And bread I have offered bits of toast but she doesn't even finish half a soldier. Their stomachs are the soze of their fists, so including milk it's normal that they don't eat huge portions.

YW the idea of your DH flapping his arms at the sight of your boobs made me chortle very loudly.

Det that is absolutely rubbish of your DP. How can anyone leave a baby like that. Whip him with your judgey pants. Btw I also think in baby weights now. L currently weighs a stone and I need to lose about 6. Terrifying!

L's red cheeks have gone down overnight phew. Dreamt he had a full set of teeth.

Good morning.

First dibs to cacacaz! Huzzah! Great news for you.

D'ya know something det? Sometimes, being a softy, I wonder if you are a bit hard on your DP. Not this fucking time! What an utter bell end! What gets into him? Were O's feet ok after having sock ons on all night? Poor wee soul. It won't damage him forever but I would be beyond furious. The most basic thing is to change a nappy. I am fucked off on your behalf. ARE YOU READING THIS MR DETECTIVE? You have tested the patience of even me!

I think I might take a daunder to Aldi later and get shit loads of fruit and veg. I might get a chance at the weekend to so some stewing and mushing.

I have no idea what to suggest madam. It sounds very frustrating.

P is down for her first nap of the day. I have no idea when she actually woke up as often we go through and she is just lying there awake waiting for us. I tried popping her down and walking away. It went a bit like this:

P: oh! Hi Ewan! Hi jelly cat sheep! Hi beanie baby sheep! It's my flock! Hooray! Let's sing a song.

Some time later

P: hmm. Bit tired. Could do with dummy thing. I'll call mum.

P: oh look! It's mum! Hi mum!

Dummy in. Looks tired. Puts head to the side.

P: sleepy. Hmm. What about you dummy thing? Let me take you out and have a wee look at you.

P: oh hi dummy thing! Let's sing a song

P: hmm. Sleepy. I'll call mum.

And so on and on and on and on.

Eventually I went in and picked her up. He fell asleep immediately.

Argh.

Well baby evil is on antibiotics, and is getting much better. His poo was slightly mucousy. I'm sure this is because he's on the antibiotics.

P is doing my head in, have thought about throwing cups at him. He's bounding around threats like " I'll tell SS, cause YOU gave him this and now he's on antibiotics" what a dick head. Also other hurtful stuff. So hate him. Oh and the fav one at the moment is "I told you, and now your a bad mother"

I'm feeling a bit better, had a fever last night.

Oh and weaning.

He eats cheese spread on bread. Or just bread. And yogurt. He guns fruit and veg. He does not do purée any more. Unless he feels like it.

Broken this morning. Non napping baby. Up at 4am for the second day in a row. No more than 60 minutes of sleep, max, at any time. DH has just had the brunt. Cock.

pass your descriptions are hilarious! Love it!

We had a really bad night here. J had bottle at 7 and I fed him his next feed. He should have hada tonne of milk from ne as I was pretty full having not fed him since about 1pm and not expressed. You would expect him to sleep a good stretch after that, no? No fucking way!! He woke after two hours and wanted fucking fed!!! And again two hours after that!! Repeat til 7am! Then he had a massive feed and is happily in his high chair watching DD eat breakfast.

Im starving but attempting the whole wheat free thing and have nothing in I could eat!!!

Argh!!!!!

Evil, Det I'm torn as to which of your DP's wins my 'wanker of the day' prize. What a pair of useless scrotums Angry

If its any consolation our 6 month sleep regression lasted 12 days - much better than the month long 4 month sleep regression. He's also made massive developmental leaps and come out as such a sociable, smiley wee lad.

J didn't sleep between 5.30pm yesterday and 4am this morning, i'm on my knees today. Sad
He's just gone back to sleep now but he's on the sofa.

Horsey you are fab. That is all.

Evil your DP is very very wrong. I think it is worth considering if you are happy with him or may be happier without him. Nobody should say such cruel things.

6 month sleep regression was not noticed in this house due to no fucking sleep had for the first six months. However, he is now sleeping really well, even with a cold he did better last night than he used to.

DD2 is very tired and flat today, and wee'd on the floor. Oops.

J is asleep in his pushchair as he needs to be upright. He is very brave.

Grandma is at the school assembly and I am sad I missed it.

Thinking of Lily311 today and very grateful I still have my twat of a DH.

Pass, you paint a wonderful picture Grin

yw I know I keep thinking it'll be ok lol. Just had a couple of very tough weeks!!

It'll be ok once I've got my head round lots if stuff!! Plus my horse hasn't been well and it always involves a lot of money and arguing with vets. And one if the lambs died.

And ds has stopped eating food!!!

PetiteRaleuse · 03/05/2013 09:52
