No teeth yet either pennie if she is anything like me she won't have any for a while, I didn't get my first tooth till I was 14 months old.

Well after weeks and weeks of trying and getting cross with herself S has finally managed to roll back to front. Wonder if this will be like rolling front to back when she done it for 2 days and never again since.
We are off out for the afternoon in a bit, my cousin is over from Canada and can't wait to see S again, she was 8 weeks old when she last saw her Smile

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 05/05/2013 13:15

Aaw vq thanks for thinking of me. I am struggling as he is just supremely crap at sleeping :-(

We went to church this morning, he wanted fed fifteen minutes into the service. Exact same timing as last week. Last week I took him out and fed him but this time I braved feeding in church. My heart was pounding! I have no problems feeding in public but wasn't sure what church and BF etiquette was! A little old couple said to DH "good for her" whilst I was feeding :)

pennie we have one tooth here. J is almost 27 weeks tho so one of the oldest.

On major holiday countdown now....3 sleeps til IBIZA!!!!!

Thechick · 05/05/2013 13:38

Hello all. I do try to keep up but there's always so much talking. H is a delight to mother. I'm enjoying him so much. He's just getting his first tooth and he's 30 weeks today. You can just see it poking through. Ds1 didn't get teeth until 9 months. And he's still waking twice. I think I've given in to it. He will sleep through at some point.

BigPigLittlePig · 05/05/2013 14:02

Izzy I'd be scared of squirting milk at the person sat in front Blush - "er, roofs leaking again?!" Well done though. Am totally not Envy at holiday countdown though, ooohhh noo.

No teeth here pennie thank god

Interested to see what you think of papaya, vq, I kept tasting it because I just couldn't decide. DH tried melon for the first time last night, said it tasted of alcohol Hmm

Speaking of dh, please do all line up to give him a bit of a virtual slap he's given his permission - unhelpful comment of the year award this morning goes to him, for the following. Said at 9am, when I had been up since 6 3rd day in a row and despite promising me a lie in "oooh I slept so well last night"

ValiumQueen · 05/05/2013 14:09

I have fed all three in church. Never had anything but positive feedback. I would have twatted anyone who dared to though Grin Jesus was breast fed Smile

J woke very happy after his three hour nap, and was a tad hungry. Just waiting for milk to go down before trying papaya.

Pikz · 05/05/2013 14:13

Lily huge hugs... Am in awe of you and how you have coped Thanks

Chasing big hugs!

Izzy VQ is right we shall have a party when you get to sleep Brew

Sorry to hear about multiple shot nights from people.

We don't have much of a night problem but daytime is horrendous. We have massive hysterics before every nap and waking hysterically too. Not sure how to fix it.

I'm having major meltdowns about a hen do I have to go to next weekend overnight. I'm not sure I can do it. Any advice on coping?

Motherhood is weird, in one breath I desperately want a little time off and a break and yet the thought of leaving him for a weekend makes me feed sick Sad

TheDetective · 05/05/2013 14:34

Pikz it's mummy guilt. :(

I'm the same. Think I'd love a day off. Hate the thought of it. Hmm

O is a happy boy today :)

I'm fucking knackered, razor throat, burnt nose, flem coming up. And SIL has dumped her 5 year old on us. I've told DP he's in full charge.

I'm just not well enough to be looking after other people's kids right now.

SIL has gone on an all day and night sesh to Blackpool btw. Hmm

MsJupiterJones · 05/05/2013 14:36

Jesus did BLW too though VQ.

TheDetective · 05/05/2013 14:39

10lb off Shock Shock Shock

Must be working!!

TheDetective · 05/05/2013 14:39

Hows the papaya gone VQ?!

PetiteRaleuse · 05/05/2013 14:55

I'd love a day off and feel not in the least guilty about it.
As it is when DH takes one out on Saturday mornings and I have just the other the uninterupted one on one time is very special.

Lovely gorgeous morning and early afternoon out. Drove to Belgium, had a walk and dog run in s forest, ate a picnic by a river, drove on up to the north of Lux and back via lovely gorgeous countryside. Girls slept the last 90 minutes in the car so are up and very active, and we are both knackered by the sun. Wish had remembered sun hat and lotion for myself and not just thought about the girls.

No teeth here. DD1 was almost 9 months when her first came down, then they all followed quite quickly.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/05/2013 14:56

That's very debateable jupiter

ValiumQueen · 05/05/2013 15:11

I guess there were no blenders or freezers 2000 years ago.

Papaya a roaring success. Just mushed with a fork, so quite brave of me. He loved it and managed the lumps and fibres. Arms and legs waving, laughing, and that was just me Grin

StuntNun · 05/05/2013 15:14

Bet Jesus didn't get weaned on papaya either seeing as it's native to the Americas

BigPigLittlePig · 05/05/2013 15:19

Nice one det - that's 2 newborn Fs you've lost!

ValiumQueen · 05/05/2013 15:29

I could never throw a bun. Buns are for eating not throwing.

TheDetective · 05/05/2013 15:33

I've dropped two babies! Hurrah! Grin

Me and O off for a soak in the bath together :) I love things like that.

O just managed a lump of banana woohoo!

TheDetective · 05/05/2013 15:34

Buns... Mmmmmmmm.

:( damn it!

PetiteRaleuse · 05/05/2013 15:35

Apparently the Romans, so around Jesus time, only weaned once babies had all their milk teeth

Got that off the lll site.

BigPigLittlePig · 05/05/2013 15:37

Gosh, fruits mum would have been feeding forever!

PetiteRaleuse · 05/05/2013 15:45

Ooh I have a recipe for iced buns that I have been meaning to try...

ValiumQueen · 05/05/2013 15:50

I have remembered a redeeming quality of DH's. he makes very good buns.

Yesterday he made a Stilton and cranberry loaf. It did not last overnight. It was fucking awesome!!,

J asleep again. In pushchair. I guess with the school runs he is used to that.

MsJupiterJones · 05/05/2013 17:15

Just in case anyone thought I was being serious then... I wasn't Blush

He definitely liked buns though. I'm sure of that.

TheDetective · 05/05/2013 17:40

Ahhh. Good job my last post doesn't seem to have worked! Posted miserably saying O would only take 3oz of pepti jr. But that was DP giving it. I've sung another 3oz in to him. So he's had his usual amount.

Fingers crossed now!

Fuck you lot and your buns!

Clarella · 05/05/2013 18:14

thanks yw Smile
sorry posting not proper catch up
better day Smile and g does seem to be less fussy when feeding which is interesting, and generally less whingy as a result....

was insanely proud of him at swimming, only baby not crying and was really chilled out Grin
