Thank fuckity fucking cunting fuck!
O was a star again through the traveling to and from airport, and flight.
Very pissed off though - for those who are thinking of the kiddicare buggy bag DON'T! I'll put some pics on FB tomorrow, but safe to say it is utterly shredded, the handle is torn, the base has torn right down the side, and there are about 20 holes in it. The buggy is also damaged
. But that's a rant for tomorrow when I take on Easyjet. No way they are not accepting liability for it as they are trying. They have clearly thrown it around and done fuck knows what with it. It isn't wear and tear, its vandalised! The bag was clearly labeled pushchair/car seat fragile in massive letters on both sides.
CUNTS. Any tips appreciated for dealing with it. The airline refused to give me a damaged luggage report number too, which I need to be able to prove and make a claim.
VQ Ranitidine is the drug of choice in the Detective household! Works well for O, keeps a happy boy, and he takes it well. He is currently on 0.5ml syringed in a 1ml syringe. He likes it! I assume because it soothes his throat, with its mintyness! The combo here is ranitidine 3x a day, gaviscon in every feed and the LF formula. I had to google the calculation for the ranitidine though, as the GP doesn't know how to calculate the dosage with it being by weight. I sometimes give him an extra 0.1 of a ml if he seems extra acidy.
Agree, don't ask for it, tell them you want it. What you need to ask yourself is, WWDD What Would Detective Do.
As you know, I'm fairly certain I'm not going back to work after maternity leave, due to the fucking fanjo problem. As far as I know being off sick straight off maternity leave isn't an issue, and you get full pay, but without unsocial enhancements. I also feel exactly like you. I'm in the mummy bubble, and I do not feel ready to go back, not just because of the fanjo but because of the reflux. O needs me right now, and I owe it to him to be there for him. My mental state is good, but I can not give what I need to in order to be back at work. I am going to review it monthly.
This trip to my dads has reinforced that I'm not in physical health to return to work.
Ps. Anyone thinking of going to Switzerland, it isn't particularly baby friendly.
Very few baby changing rooms, and lack of pushchair accessible places. Including the airport.
