Next, m&s and h&m all have long sleeved ones but not bright ones... Mothercare probably do too. I would look on eBay Smile

HoneyMumandSon · 06/04/2013 19:35

I found a couple on eBay. The only ones i shops I've found are white except h and m who do nice colours but don't start till 4-6 months and they're huge! Think I'll prob go for the eBay ones to tide us over

SpottyTeacakes · 06/04/2013 19:40

I've been trying to find dd some slippers but everywhere has their. Summer stuff out, it's really annoying!

IsThatTrue · 06/04/2013 19:42

honey our tesco had bright long sleeve vests in the sale in newborn and 0-3 unfortunately 4-6 from h+m are not huge on my little chunk, they're getting on the snug side :(

halestone · 06/04/2013 19:45

Congrats IspyGrin

Honey Asda still have them out but only white and pink ones so i'm guessing they might still have boys ones out as well. Sorry i know thats not bright thoughHmm

Clarella · 06/04/2013 19:59

oh seymore huge hugs and hand holding. that is so extremely hard. I wish I'd not been so precious about dummies as know g won't take one but there's definitely times when it would be handy.

FriendofDorothy · 06/04/2013 20:01

I think John Lewis does nice bright vests.

Clarella · 06/04/2013 20:21

Honey get thee to h and m!

HoneyMumandSon · 06/04/2013 21:40

Wow isthat. What weight is he now?
Was putting D to bed tonight and found his 0-3 month sleep suits from Next are getting a bit snug lengthways, but his others are still fine. Might need to start looking at 3-6month sleep suits!

FriendofDorothy · 06/04/2013 21:47

We're the same Honey. His toes are definitely hitting the end of his 0-3 sleepsuits. Will fish out his 3-6 I think!

IsThatTrue · 06/04/2013 21:50

No idea on weight but will prob take him to the clinic soon. He's heading towards 6-9 month vests and sleep suits, he's not even 4 months until Monday! Lol

itsMYNutella · 06/04/2013 21:51

Evening all :)

seymore you are amazing! You haven't messed anything up, sometimes these babies really are a law unto themselves. I really hope that you get some nap time wile DH looks after the kids!

Little man has been much better the last day or two. Perhaps the teeth are starting to move and that is what was upsetting him? I suppose I'll never know...
We were invited over to friends for dinner tonight, (long story short they "owed" some other people we know an invitation and are so polite they honoured it even though they don't really like these other people) my friend is from Malaysia and is an amazing cook so I never pass up the chance to eat there :) dinner was delicious!
Aannnnndddd...... Of course the poo little man has been saving up for three days arrived while we were there Shock fortunately they love little T and the pampers did an amazing job and contained it well.

Secondsop · 06/04/2013 21:54

seymore - hope you get though the day and manage to get a break. I don't know how those of you with more than 1 child manage, I really don't.

itsMYNutella · 06/04/2013 21:55

Wow isthat that's impressive! Although from all the pics I've seen on the F.book group there isn't a baby to rival the little girl at my post-natal exercise class. She is in some 6-9 size vests already and is a very very round baby.

SeymoreButts · 06/04/2013 22:44

Thanks again everyone for all the virtual hand holding last night, I really needed it. Flowers I managed to get an hour this morning and feel better for it. It's going to be a looong day!

I hope you're all settling into a good night's sleep and have enjoyed the sun today? I've heard the weather is taking a turn for the better??

Mothercare and ELC went into administration out here, I realised too late that I missed their clear out sale! It was so expensive though, I'm not surprised. A pack of 3 sleepsuits was $40.

I've said it before but beware John Lewis weird sizes, DS is currently wearing a 3-6 months sleepsuit and the sleeve comes up to his elbow. DD (7) just asked me if they are cropped sleaves, she's getting into clothes now, I said yes.

Secondsop · 06/04/2013 22:56

seymore glad you're having a better start to the day. Why couldn't mothercare and ELC have had their sale while I was in Aus?! But it would probably have been expensive for me even then as I found everything expensive while I was over there. I did pick up some things in target in the sale that were very cheap and that were styles I hadn't seen here - the little sleepsuits with short legs - but everything else seemed expensive even the sale rails.

For those that like that kind of thing: some episodes of "house of tiny tearaways" are repeated on the "Blighty" channel.

HoneyMumandSon · 06/04/2013 22:56

That's weird seymour - John Lewis sleepsuits gave always seemed on the big side for us! You can't win with the clothing sizes, can you?!

SpottyTeacakes · 06/04/2013 23:35

Ds's only just in most of his 0-3 month grows. He's just in 3-6 month vests though. He keeps waking up every time I out him back into his cot Angry going to wake dp up in a minute if he doesn't fall asleep on his own (which it doesn't sound like he will).

halestone · 06/04/2013 23:43

H is just going into 6-9 month clothes shes a chunk Grin i'm putting her in 3-6 month clothes and then taking them off and putting them in the charity shop bag as she fills them both in length and width.

SpottyTeacakes · 07/04/2013 00:04

Ds thinks it's play time Hmm

Secondsop · 07/04/2013 00:39

spotty we're the other way round clothes wise as Z seems to be quite leggy. 0-3 vests for a bit longer, but just started 3-6 clothes.

EggsMichelle · 07/04/2013 04:19

Oh Seymore, I hope DS turns a corner soon for you.

I'm shoe horning F into his 3-6m vests and sleep suits and given up on 3-6m clothes and just putting him in 6-9m. I have a bag of clothes I add to for my DSis and she is horrified at his size and the speed he grows.

Hales we got a walker last week, and DS's feet just touch the ground it he slides himself right forward but not close enough to move. If you have a decent door frame, get a door bouncer, DS loves that!

PurplePidjin · 07/04/2013 06:57

Shock R is only just in 3-6 and will be 20 weeks tomorrow!

I have crap door frames and a door bouncer, it's like a giant bulldog clip that goes either side of the top architrave. Buys me enough time to cook dinner although dp does that most days best investment £2.50 i ever spent :o We don't have room for a walker, but get a lot of use out of the leap pad dj booth thing too

SpottyTeacakes · 07/04/2013 07:03

I'm steering clear of a walker. I had one for dd and (although I know it probably didn't) can't help thinking it contributed to her toe walking and not walking until she was nearly two. Physios hate them. Obviously ds could have the same problems as dd so best for us not to use one I think.

Ds is still asleep and dd has only just woken up. I'm going out to lunch today with my two best friends and leaving dp to look after the dc. Grin I might even have a glass of wine Grin

SkiBunnnnny · 07/04/2013 07:25

Walkers are illegal here in Canada. People have to smuggle them over from the states!
I think the problem is people thinking they can leave babies unattended in them and this has caused accidents but I have heard worries about developement like you said spotty.
Tbh I think if you use them sensibly and your LO likes it then why not?
