ValiumQueen · 26/02/2013 23:27

And rooty do not be alarmed by bad language. We have a sweary Wednesday so the air will get a bit blue.

ValiumQueen · 26/02/2013 23:29

Is that you or the baby detective ? Grin

Contradictionincarnate · 26/02/2013 23:30

anyone still using their ewan? I have a turtle wondering if I should get a ewan too (think I only want one cos he is obviously Welsh!)
just put the turtle on now to ease dd me to sleep ...imagining I am on a beautiful beach in mumbles Rhodes

BigPigLittlePig · 26/02/2013 23:32

detective name swap?? Think big pig would be appropriate given cake eating prowess...

I'm an idiot. Knackered,, should have been in bed for 2 hours but instead have been watching sun, sex and suspicious parents. Twat.

Hello sweary Wednesday (almost), how I fucking loves ya

Night all x

Contradictionincarnate · 26/02/2013 23:32

ha ha vq I'm trying my best to keep laugh in as dd just down!!
you do have a dirty mind but yeah det you or the baby!!! ha haGrin Grin Grin

rootypig · 26/02/2013 23:33

thanks for the welcomes! I will try to keep up but am already behind! should really be asleep but am eating disgusting numbers of M&S extra chocolatey biscuits instead Grin

VQ I have a bit of a foul mouth actually, it's a running joke that DD's first word will be FUCK so I will look forward to the sweary Wednesday business

TheDetective · 26/02/2013 23:47

If I am sucking, I most certainly do not make such noises Grin. I am a laydeeeeee.

BP I am both, Big Pig and Little Pig. I feel like I've eaten enough cake to feed 2 people anyway!

Contra Ewan rarely used now. I have a specific youtube white noise video which is a hoover and hairdryer. It is the bees knees for O.

I use Ewan in the morning sometimes, if he is awake and wanting to get up, while I get out of bed and try and have a piss in peace!

ValiumQueen · 26/02/2013 23:53

Finger sucking is all I meant you filthy minded fuckers!

J in his cot with Ewan on harp. He is awake and transfixed. I use Ewan harp for night time feeds. I have a light show lullaby thing for daytime naps.

Off to the land of fucking nod hopefully.

GTbaby · 26/02/2013 23:58

Marks spot n goes to sleep.

Passmethecrisps · 26/02/2013 23:59

Ewan plinking as I type.
No need at night other than for me

ChunkyChicken · 27/02/2013 00:14

DS has been watching cBeebies avidly since about 6wo. Admittedly its on for DD & he'd probably stare at the News as much, but he almost screws his head off to watch it, literally engrossed. It's funny watching DH, DD & DS all stare at the 'goggle box'.

Got a letter today about a staff meeting that I might want to attend on restructuring etc.Tomorrow Angry It's at 4pm which is tricky for childcare & I've not had enough time to get organised so can't go. I doubt much actually affects me BUT it might!!

stunt thanks too for the bra fitting thing. I felt I was in the right size band but feeling a bit 'Chunky' in a 34. Did the back-to-front thing. It comes out about an inch or two!! Must need a 32. Best not tell DH as those are brand new Blush better than the 36Es I was wearing though

mm what is it with people reversing into stationary cars? Same happened with my saxo when living with my in-laws. My car was up on the curb & everything iirc. Bloody woman just didn't look properly. If you can't reverse properly off your drive, then reverse onto it!!!

I'm an even worse Mummy. We DTD in a hotel room with both DC asleep obviously present Shock Blush In our defence, if we didn't do it with at least 1 of them present usually DS who, now 15wo, has a habit of turning onto his side, facing the wall to sleep, which is helpful Wink we'd never do it.

Off to bed. Night all.

sweetpea1112 · 27/02/2013 00:41

Up for first feed of the night here, which is good going for him, except he has spent most of his five hours sleep rubbing his head raw. he has dry skin on his scalp and forehead and previously I thought he was just rubbing it as a tired signal but now I'm wondering if he is scratching because it is itchy.

Do 13 week olds possess the necessary skills to scratch an itch? He has scratch mitts on but his face is still red raw and he can't be getting quality sleep poor thing Sad

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 27/02/2013 01:03

Will catch up later. Lost track of thread..again! DS is being a nightmare. He will sleep in crib happily til first feed then won't go back down!! I try about four times letting him fall asleep in between and he just cried til I give in and bring him beside us. I get hardly any sleep as I lie so bloody still I get sore. Need help to fix this. I've just done first feed of night, he had expressed milk at ten then finished at 11 and still woke for food! Argh! He's back in crib now and I'm hoping he stays there and sleeps all night! Ha...no chance!

sweetpea1112 · 27/02/2013 01:11

Thanks Stunt I will avoid Calpol before jabs and cross fingers for less pain for the poor kid.

VQ Oscar has moved into his basket this week when he hit 12weeks as his thrashing about was making me worry he would tip the basket over. Still in our room as we have a one bed flat.

I imagine if he had his own room he would be in it soon though as he is bloody noisy and has kept me up all night so far with his head mauling. Have just smothered him and the carpet in olive oil in the hope that it will relieve any itchiness.

Another telly addict baby here - he swivels his head round to find it whenever he is feeding or playing. He especially loves the weather forecast although he did enjoy Zingzillas.

MissMummy1 · 27/02/2013 02:55

sweetpea my 12 week old dd has eczema om her fest that developed into a steph infection. The last 2/3 days she has been scratching like mad. Trying to get her hands under her sleepsuits and everything! Bless her Sad

Chunky I had deliberately stuck my car up on the pavement and slightly further down the street so she couldn't hit it! I still dont know how she managed. Confused The silly woman did however admit on the phone - after trying to accuse me for having an old bendy car Hmm - that she was flustered and didnt look....

Just woken with an almighty poonami. M not me. Looked at my phone before taking her next door to change. 5.45 or so I thoughr. Look again with specs on and it's only 2.45. I want to cry Sad Sad Sad

MissMummy1 · 27/02/2013 02:55

*on her chest

fruitpastilles · 27/02/2013 03:05

Well hello sweary fucking Wednesday. I have a sleeping baby here, so why the fuck am I wide awake?? I'll tell you why, because of dp's fucking snoring! It's doing my head in. That and my throat is killing and I have a snotty nose Sad hope S doesn't catch anything.

fruitpastilles · 27/02/2013 03:13

Oh and S is in her own room. We put her in at 10 weeks as she was looking too small for her basket nothing to do with her being a noisy little thing honestly

ValiumQueen · 27/02/2013 03:25

J woke at 3. Not suprised really as he did not have his formula last night. Hope he settles ok.

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 03:42

vq j woke at 3.30 and she had hers! Sad

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 03:49

y o y o y o y o ...

spells yo yo yo yo yo !

kirrinIsland · 27/02/2013 03:49

We're up for the first feed of the night too. Not as good as it sounds as she still doesn't go down til around midnight!

Welcome rooting :)

N is a Telly addict too. I often find her watching the news with DP.

Contradictionincarnate · 27/02/2013 03:53

not tried cbeebies yet plenty of time to get bored by that! Wink
have had on baby tv though channel 263 my sister found it - very strange but means I can wee!
as I have a sore throat and couldn't do my usual morning songs I tried a few of the baby apps on iPad again! Fisher Price ones seem good! D was playing the piano earlier! Wink

Pikz · 27/02/2013 03:57

Ewan still very much part of this household.

Just done a feed VQ and he had formula! He is now lying in cot talking to himself and sucking his hands like a demented thing.
