My scar doesn't feel like its changed since it healed duck it feels different than pre-scar iykwim but no diffent now to a year ago. I would get it checked especially if its sore.

MummyDuckAndDuckling · 25/04/2013 23:44

Thanks ladies. I'll try get an apt for tomorrow

ipswichwitch · 26/04/2013 13:17

sassy, when N sees a dog he always goes woof woof, but he does tend to say woof for cats too. Reading your post it makes sense now!!

sassy34264 · 26/04/2013 14:24

Ha ips not often i make sense.

I've given in and bought jeans in that size.

The one i have been avoiding since eva was born

And i had to lie down on the bed to get them zipped up.

strawberrypenguin · 26/04/2013 22:52

Hands sassy Wine new jeans are always tight, couple of wears they'll be too big Grin nothing wrong with going up a jean size I had to after W!

How you doing duck?

MummyDuckAndDuckling · 27/04/2013 00:06

Lol at the jeans comment. I stick to jeggins now Grin

Thanks strawb. I went and saw a lovely female GP. I told her it was on my scar, she looked and said my scar was more to the right and not the middle. Shows how much I know about these things!! But she thinks its just a cyst but as its sore, she's given me antibiotics just incase it gets infected over the weekend. She wants to refer me on to gynaecology to have them double check and possibly cut it off?! Seemed a bit extreme to me! I thought cysts just went away by themselves Confused

sassy34264 · 27/04/2013 07:45

Umph strawberry 1 dress size would be fine. 3 however is not!!!!

sassy34264 · 27/04/2013 09:28

mummY sorry was getting ready for a bath and missed the bit about the docs. I've no experience of episimotomy ? or cysts, so no advice, sorry. Hope it is only a minor thing for you.

Getting everyone ready this morning for our 1st trip to the dentist. dp is at wrestling and therefore it's up to me as usual. grrr.

All 6 of us have an appointment. It's going to be like the bloody clampets. Shock

MummyDuckAndDuckling · 27/04/2013 10:48

Good luck at dentist! That's something else I need to add to the 'to do' list! Confused

Thanks, I'm hoping it just goes away itself. I think a hospital referral seems a bit much! Don't the mnetters on the chat boards like stories about cysts?! Grin

Just getting ready then off out with S. I have a list as long as my arm of stuff I need to get for our holiday plus it's my dads birthday on Wednesday and surprise party next Saturday. I have no gift or anything to wear so hoping to find something Shock

ClimbingPenguin · 27/04/2013 14:36

I've just done my first week of work

OP posts:
strawberrypenguin · 27/04/2013 15:29

Only if they get horribly puss filled I think duck Grin hope it clears up by itself. I don't think my cut/scar is in the middle either def. feels off to one side. I remember the midwife who checked me before I went home commenting that it was definitely a doctors work not a midwifes! She was right!

Grin sassy sorry but 3 sizes did make me laugh. More Wine? Good luck at the dentist.

How was your first week climbing ? Do you need Wine too?

MummyDuckAndDuckling · 27/04/2013 15:58

I just assumed they cut right down the middle. She commented that it was over to the right more and was the work of a doctor as its almost un-noticeable!

S has developed a taste for odd things. I keep catching her eating shampoo and today it was hand cream. She's worked out how to open the lids with her teeth so can get into anything now. Yuck! Shock

sassy34264 · 27/04/2013 16:01

£217! Biscuit

CheshireDing · 27/04/2013 17:53

No wonder DH didn't come with you at that price Sassy Grin Did you remember everyone ?! P is due to go again in August so I have been teaching her "ahhhhh" to keep her mouth open as last time I had to move her lips out of the way Grin

Sorry to hear about the cyst Duck it might be better snipped out though due to it's location otherwise it would just keep rubbing I guess.

Hope your first week was okay Climbing

P has been to Baby Ballet again today and put poo on my car seats :(. Totally my own fault as she pointed at her nappy and said "poo poo" and I ignored her. Then she spent 2 hours at an outside climbing area, I am hoping for good sleep tonight.

PenelopeLane · 28/04/2013 09:04

Sorry have dropped out for a few days, hope all is well!

Duck you have me all curious about my episiotomy scar now! Ug, cysts though. I had one on my back last year that got so big and sore I couldn't sit back in chairs. By the time I got it removed it left a massive hole and I got quite sick. It was partly my fault for leaving it for so long though!

Engels i hope you're feeling better and enjoy being on holiday!

Climbing how's the first week gone?

Cheshire how many weeks now? Hope the illness passes! I'm 18 weeks now so just moving out of the not really feeling pregnant stage to the starting to feel a bit sore sometimes stage. It's still going pretty well though and can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl. Fx they don't have their legs crossed during the scan ...

A has quite a few 3 word sentences now but is like Eva in that he doesn't always make connections. He knows tractor, digger, car, truck and bus, but all birds are 'duck'.

I find it mixed now he talks. I love chatting to him about things, but it's so much harder to leave him when he doesn't want to sleep when he's yelling "Mum! Out! No bed! A cuddle! Mum cuddle!"

We've just been away for a lovely weekend to a city down south (Queenstown - engels hope that's on your itinerary!) but today on the flight home poor A vomited all over me and himself. AND his water bottle had spilled in his bag so he had nothing to change into. AND our connecting flight was cancelled so had to spend hours in the airport. Was very pleased to get home!

sassy34264 · 28/04/2013 11:18

pen eww yuk.Grin if that happens to us, either me or dp will take a layer off and put it over DC (roll up sleeves)

I have a vague recollection of plane delayed, c falling asleep in airport and weeing in her sleep, and as she was older we didn't take spare clothes around with us, so we did the above.

Glad pregnancy going well.

I've just been to the gym. 1st time in a few Weeks. Dp is either not away this week or only 1 night, so it means I can go again. Its flipping hard keep gaining a certain level of fitness and then losing it and having to start all over again. Annoying as well. grrr.

I think we need to put cbeebies back on as the default channel instead of Disney. Isobel at the gate to the kitchen this morning 'what are you guys doing?" Smile

sassy34264 · 28/04/2013 11:21

Cheshire dp did come, who do you think paid? Wink he just didn't have a hand in helping them get ready.

ClimbingPenguin · 28/04/2013 21:15

first week was good thanks, a lot easier than being at home with them both, that's for sure Grin. Still firmly in that stage of not being able to do anything yet, but I know that's part of a new job. Don't get MN while at work with this one though, so there were good points about academic research. Still glad to be out of there though.

OP posts:
LittlePebble · 29/04/2013 07:26

Mummy E eats everything too. He seems to want to put anything and everything in his mouth Confused

CP good luck for week 2!

Pen E definitely doesn't talk as much as A but I too find it really hard to leave him now he can call me from his cot. Much harder to ignore "muuuuummyyyyyyyy"!

annie you aren't allowed to leave Devon unless you've had a cream tea, it's the law down here Wink

We've just come back from a weekend away in London and I am SO not ready for work again urgh....

Although on the plus side DH finally seems to be talking as if we're going to have a second baby (been a massive struggle between us since we got married) so fingers crossed I can come off the pill in the not too distant future!

Engelsemama · 30/04/2013 09:25

Sorry for absence the past few days. Bank holiday weekend here so lots of family time and have barely been on MN. Today the Dutch queen is abdicating and handing over the crown to her son so A*dam will be filled with drunk orange Dutchies and the TV schedules are wall to wall Royal family. DH hates crowds and all that (and also not too keen on the royal family) so we will be spending the day pottering in the garden, though will make sure I put on something orange and sneak a peek at the TV for the coronation!

Thanks again for all your support re: DH. He?s so up and down and I can see that the hair loss is really bothering him. He knows he should go to GP, but I know he wouldn?t want me to make appt for him. Annie DH struggles with clutter as well, but he never does or says anything ? just bottles it up. Most of it is his in our house.

M?s slapped cheek is cleared up now. Only a bit of dry skin on his hands and feet.

MrsH I haven?t watched Broadchurch yet but have downloaded it We don?t get ITV so the only reason I?d heard of it was from comments on fb and MN!

I?m rubbish at taking multivitamins duck I always forget! Still have half a pot of vitamin D tablets that I was supposed to take while breastfeeding Blush

Def going to Qtown pen - my Dsis is there atm.

sassy what class are you doing? Hope your mum had a good birthday.

Glad first week went well climbing.

Right, off out to plant our goodies form the garden centre yesterday Smile

MrsHende · 30/04/2013 21:56
