I went with Gary's suggestion, as it was quite awesome and indeed factual!

Easily you'll be fine and will enjoy having the break.

Xiao - we were all like it with our pfb, when it's your 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc you can just snigger and laugh about all the things they can expect that they don't think will happen to them Grin

Aethel - good news if you can exchange soon.

Gary - fab news on your scan.

2ww driving me crazy here!

Figgygal · 07/02/2013 19:42

I wasn't that bad when pg dh on other hand had nursery done and pushchair bought at 4 months gone made for a long pg.

I like what I do just don't like how we do it in my company and as the job market better am tempted to move but just so many variables. I can't see a move to Scotland anytime soon so just getting on with everything.

DS has had 6 yellow runny pops today he's not unwell and been eating like a horse but his bum is cracking and red Sad he's never had nappy rash not happy.

OiMissus · 07/02/2013 21:00

Poor figgyboy. Yellow poops don't sound great. Must be teething, I guess, if everything else is normal.
SAHM - what's 2ww?
The fancy dress outfit has arrived. It doesn't quite look like the picture. I 'll go and try it on. I ordered size 12/14, the packaging says XL!

Figgygal · 07/02/2013 21:11

oi 12/14 is extra large in fancy dress sizes .......I obviously have too many outfits in my wardrobe

NorthernChinchilla · 07/02/2013 21:59

Well, that's two nights getting home at gone 9pm.....

Poor little figgyboy, that sounds grim... and I know what you mean about stuff going round your head, we're doing the same about jobs/houses/baby no.2.

Ta matey! And can I say I wholeheartedly agree about the sheer wonderfullness and sparklyosity of people (especially women) born in October, definitely superior Grin So glad the scan went well, was beanlet moving about much? And how was the 4D one seven?

Tell all about the hat Oi - I love a good hat for weddings, I'm definitely a Four Weddings and a Funeral (not that I look like her or anything, hah!) type as opposed to fascinators. I bet it's glorious. We're off to the evening part of a wedding on Saturday, it's mine and DP's first night out together since DS was born (so a mere 15 months) and will be two years since we were out having a drink together Confused

And I can't wait to welcome Haddock junior, or even Little Miss Swordfish to the thread Xiao Wink

Poor DP is traumatised, he was messing around with DS and DS somehow cut his chin open on DP's thumbnail. He feels dreadful, and is next to me filing his nails- it's not like they were claws or anything, it was just an accident, but I can feel a real OCD filing thing coming on.

OiMissus · 07/02/2013 22:07

I am also October born and therefore fabulous with or without a hat however, my sister is also an October birthday, and she is certainly not fabulous. ...so maybe it's just certain dates. 30 is fab, 26 is rubbish, 28 is happily bonkers,...

OiMissus · 07/02/2013 22:12

<a class="break-all" href="http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e11051.m43.l1123/7?euid=20e1295012e541088e30312e72d00f73&loc=cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261161649234&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this is the hat I bought. The photo does not do it justice. It is tres elegant. Grin

OiMissus · 07/02/2013 22:13

The link doesn't work. You'll have to wait for the photos. Smile

NorthernChinchilla · 07/02/2013 22:14

Aaargh, it doesn't come up! Want to see the haaaaaaaaaaat.
We need to arrange a sub thread of October ladies of fabulousness Wink

NorthernChinchilla · 07/02/2013 22:15

X post!

QueenofClean · 08/02/2013 05:21

Oi 2ww = 2 week wait to see if I'm up duffed.

Happy Birfhday to meeeeee 29+1 year today Grin

OiMissus · 08/02/2013 09:08

A mere spring chicken! Happy Birthday!
Did you know that Birthdays are very good for you? Oh yes, tis true. Statistics show that those who have the most, live the longest. No word of a lie.
As I am now 40, from the next birthday my reply when questioned would be that of Greer garson, "I do wish I could tell you my age but it's impossible. It keeps changing all the time."
I tried the wedding outfit all together last night. It looks OK. The hat is glorious, it's the rest I'm not so sure about...
However, I have a second outfit I'm now contemplating... I now need a grey hat. :(
2 week wait... I see... yes, I suppose I'm with you on that one.
hen party tomorrow... the outfit... well... it will have to do. I need to do some sewing, and dig out some fake tan.
And I'm having my hair cut and coloured tomorrow morning. Grin So should I take the 3 or 4 ideal home type mags with me, for tearing and mood boarding, or do I do something REALLY indulgent and get The Telegraph? I can't remember the last time I had a couple of hours to pour through a weekend supplement! The Telegraph it is. Grin

SevenReasonsToSmile · 08/02/2013 09:46

It's another girl! 4D scan was amazing, we got some lovely pics. And we're decided on her name, it's Beatrice Ann. Now I can start ebaying boy things as this one is definitely our last.

figgy metanium is about the only thing that actually works on nappy rash, hope it clears up soon.

Happy birthday SAHM!

Hope everyone else has a wonderful day!

QueenofClean · 08/02/2013 11:00

Thank you all. My hubby has brought me clothes shopping Smile

Oi hope you have fun on hen weekend.

If we get some BFP's we can all gate crash the Oct 2013 thread lol.

GaryBuseysTeeth · 08/02/2013 11:54

Seven, hurrah for your little girl Bea(n)....lovely names!

Wine for SAHM, happy birthday!!

Xiao, I looked over the first three Dec'11 threads (warning, many mc/mmc...had me sobbing like a loon) & you didn't come across very PFB!
Fred1
Fred2
Fred3 I think everyone on the thread currently (aside from Moose) was posting by this one under one name or another.

Hope figgybum is better soon.

Oi, enjoy your weekend, and your weekend paper...whenever we go away without DS I get a Sunday Times & read every section, even the appointments!

Northen, hope your DP feels less traumatised soon..and doesn't wake you up tonight filing your toenails!
T'was moving about like a acrobat, took so long to get it still enough to get the NT measurement that I thought there was something wrong. Still getting girl vibes from it, but hoping to find out sex next month!

thekatsatonthematt · 08/02/2013 12:38

Gary I was going to look for our old threads to compare...will browse later on. I agree some of slightly more irratating posts on the Aug 13 thread are first timers, but, well, it's just not you lot is it?!

Have had a shocking few days at work. Put on horrible long routes with lots of parcels and was late finishing Wed & Thu. However got my reward today, a lovely rural village route and I was back home making crumpets at 11.45 Grin

Happy birthday Queenie, hope you've managed to find some lovely things to splurge on.

Had lots more to say, but must go and clean up whilst the house is empty. I might even get all the floors mopped in one go!!

Oh, and I may have agreed whilst watching the big bang theory (which I adore) that DH should educate me in all things Star Trek. I've just checked the sky planner and I have 14 episodes of original series to watch. Might keep them for August when I am bf again.... Blush

QueenofClean · 08/02/2013 13:26

Thanks all I'm now sat in the hairdressers.

Seven congrats on baby girl love the name Beatrice.

SevenReasonsToSmile · 08/02/2013 18:24

Thanks gary and queen.

Where is everyone?

QueenofClean · 08/02/2013 18:41

I have been utterly spoilt today so turning 30 isn't all bad Grin had clothes, shoes, money and new hair doo today and got more to come on Sunday apparently. Also been brought some pregnancy tests as a birthday present by DH bless him think he's more anxious & excited than I am lol.

Aethelfleda · 08/02/2013 19:54

La la la la ... Things may work out! No exchange but if we're lucky we may next week. Huge relief, the chain is waiting for us. Phew.

Seven, congrats on the scan! Girls rock. Great names too.

thekatsatonthematt · 08/02/2013 20:25

Tentative pompoms for Aethel

Forgot to say congrats to Seven earlier - cute scan pics on fb!

Ummmmmm, can't really remember what else I was going to say and am off to bed shortly as in work at 5.30 tomorrow.

Oh, re shopping in MK - might be delayed anyway as snow may stop play. And am visiting Manc Land in a few weeks so might just wait and shop there. Was so very spoilt last time working in the city centre. Next, New Look, and H&M all had pretty good maternity sections - at least you could try on all the different styles of jeans. I still have my maternity jeans from last time, but am a stone and a half lighter and my legs are marginally skinner thanks to all this walking so might actually be able to consider a skinny(ish) style jean.

Off to dream of looking like an uber stylish pregnant Mama this time round. Oi send me some stylish shoppi vibes Grin

Night all DS back in his cot for the first time in months hope it lasts longer than 3 hours

OiMissus · 08/02/2013 21:02

Ah kat, good luck to you! I also have dreams of the next pregnancy being more stylish. (How?? Especially when, in the last pregnancy, I didn't always have a smear of snot wiped on me somewhere!)
I also watch OBEM and imagine me rocking up in a lovely outfit and shoes, with a neat little hospital bag, freshly lovely hair, new clean underwear (you get the picture?), all ready for my 11:30am cs.... Wink

mopsytop · 08/02/2013 21:04

hi all! Friday night wine yay! I made the yummiest pasta-smoked salmon dish and apple crisp for dinner (yum yum yum if I do say so myself!) as mil visiting. Bought some new clothes this week and feel and look way slimmer and gabber. Going to make more of an effort to look fabulous... channelling Oi here. I'm also going to a hen do tomo night... maybe I'm becoming Oi . Oh no, the one I'm at isn't fancy dress (phew!). My sis was visiting this week so got to go on a date with my lovely husband yay!

aethel fingers massively crossed!
Oi hope the costume/fake tan working out well.
Happy birthday SAHM

OiMissus · 08/02/2013 21:05

And congrats seven, lovely name. Half of me wants a girl next time, for shopping and shared interests, and to even up the balance. And half of me wants a boy so we don't have to buy anything new - plus BOi number one is perfect...Wink
So I guess that means I have no real preference. Grin
