Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
sassy34264 · 25/06/2012 23:48

ok loads of mistakes!

shoot me. Grin

CheshireDing · 26/06/2012 09:58

Oooh I love a good Vodka Sassy Grin Not Smirnoff though, a nice Rain or Goose Vodka.

I had good intentions of going running last night but a waking baby ended that. Maybe tonight.

I would love a personal trainer Out, we had one for our wedding and we got to do things that were really good that we wouldn't usually do like boxing and stuff. Exercise is a good thing to do though isn't it, sometimes a good run is great to come back home all nice and calm again (instead of wanting to yell at everyone in my case) Grin

sassy34264 · 26/06/2012 10:16

laughs and hides the tesco value vodka.

my chosen tipple is actually cognac- courvoisier or henessey, but its too expensive when you have the constitution of a bear

have to just treat myself occasionally.

is there anyone else able to meet up fri at manchester trafford centre? cant remember where everyone is and wouldnt like to think we've missed someone out. i think bilblio was close, but shes not posted for ages.

can i ask that we meet in the food court rather than starbucks?

its just that 12pm is lunch and i will have 2 22month olds as well as eva, and they will need feeding. i could bring sandwiches for them to eat. you could perhaps get a starbucks coffee to go and bring it with you? sorry to be pia.

CheshireDing · 26/06/2012 10:49

Fine by me at the food court as P will have her lunch with her anyway. Can you go near the band stand size otherwise I will never find you? Will pm my mobile.

I don't think anyone else except Bilblio was near us but obviously anyone is welcome who is "up North" so to speak.

I will be the one with shit hair as my hairdresser is not in this week.

Actually I might go all Mancunian and wear one of my hats and will therefore be the one looking cool

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 26/06/2012 10:56

Oooh! Have fun with the meet up! Remember photos Grin
I just got my hair done thank god! Roots were down to my ears and exposing all my grey Blush

sassy34264 · 26/06/2012 11:16

if you honestly think you wont see me with my monstrosity pram, then im joining your husband in the 'profound' corner. Grin

people will be flying left and right as i push my way through!

i thought about getting my hair done too- but it was fleeting............

sassy34264 · 26/06/2012 11:17

oh god......photos!

im not coming

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 26/06/2012 12:13

Photos are a must!!! Wish I was there just to see you and your monster of a pram haha Grin

lookout · 26/06/2012 12:32

sassy you make me lol. Enjoy your meet up, all you Northeners. Over and I shall have our own civilized naice meet up in the South Wink. Which reminds me did you get on the fb group over? I have perhaps just missed it, will double check and message you. Would Windsor be a good place to meet for a coffee perhaps?

Had ds1's sports day this morning. Third year in a row that I cried when he did his running race . Seriously, since having children I cry at anything.

E seems fine so far after his bout of screaming last night. sassy it might have been trapped wind, the only other time he's screamed like that he eventually burped and threw up on me then was fine.

Looking forward to seeing the photos of the Northern contingent of the October group. It's like the WI: Scotland, the North...

sassy34264 · 26/06/2012 12:36

you saying im a freak show?

Grin
ipswichwitch · 26/06/2012 12:49

so far i seem to be a one woman north east contingent (manchester is a bit too far for me :()...
sassy just read your threads, and it sounds like a nightmare. i've got no practical advice except to say that it must be so difficult for your dd but thank god she has one great parent with their head screwed on :) (and yes i'm referring to you)

lookout, N occasionally has a screaming fit like that and usually means he's got trapped wind, or the last time was when he was poorly. i tend to give a dose of calpol (after trying everything else) and hope for the best

i'm with scheh on the exercise front, a walk around the village or weightlifting N is about as good as it gets! just dont have time now i'm at work, which reminds me, must start looking like i'm actually doing some instead of mning. i keep giggling at sassys monstrosity pram, and i cant pretend its work that i'm giggling at - its not exactly a laugh a minute here

Overreactionoftheweek · 26/06/2012 13:28

look I am on fb page now...photos of my boy include him hitting his cousin in the face and another wearing his England strip...I'm raising a hooligan Blush Windsor would suit me nicely.

I'm liking all the vodka talk ahead of the northern meet up!

Got to meet my manager next Friday to see if I can do the hours I want when I go back in September...I don't want to go back at all :(

sassy34264 · 26/06/2012 13:30

look i think mamma is south too.

might be miles away, im a typical northerner who thinks south is anything past birmingham.

are you hampshire mamma ?

or was that someone else?

MamaMaiasaura · 26/06/2012 13:36

new forest here down in 'ampshire Wink

lookout · 26/06/2012 14:10

Mama I guess Windsor might be a bit far? Or maybe we could find somewhere in between you and Berkshire?

sassy 'freak show'? Yes, but in a good way Grin It's the pram and vodka talk that makes me smile, as well as the photos and all. Oh, and North is anything past Watford, dear. Birmingham is practically the wilderness Grin

over yep, I've seen the photos. Are you happy to travel a bit further afield if Mama is interested in a meet? Fx for your meeting, I feel very sorry for anyone not wanting to go back to work. Must be very hard indeed though sometimes I wish I wasn't here all day every day Bad mummy.

ips, yep, I think we'll be going down the calpol route from now on, but I do think it might have been wind. Seemed a bit OTT for teeth, ime.

ClimbingPenguin · 26/06/2012 14:24

I'm an hour from windsor, due east from me

sassy34264 · 26/06/2012 14:34

look we x posts

the freak show comment was at fuzzy

Smile

not that im organising everyone- but where is bb3 at? i thought she was berkshire?

lookout · 26/06/2012 14:37

haha sassy I take it back then, you're not a freak show Grin.

Climbing are you up for a meet then?
BB3 and you?

CheshireDing · 26/06/2012 14:57

God I need to do some work too but keep farting about. I don't want to go back to "real" work in October either Over :( :( Do you have a nice job/colleagues?

Just got P weighed and she is 16.15lb's, she feels really heavy to pick up to me I don't know how some of you pick up 20lb babies. Might make her walk once she is that heavy! Grin

Penguin I think I must have missed a name change, are you the Penguin who posted on that bf thread the other day or the "other" Penguin? - Just so I know.

I will let you all know after Friday if Sassy and her mobile bungalow are a freak show. Poor Scheh she is probably regretting Friday now that's why she's disappeared.

Why is Fuzzzy a freak?

sassy34264 · 26/06/2012 15:12

she's not!!!

oh dear.

fuzzy said she wished she could see me and my monstrosity of a pram and i jokingly replied 'you saying im a freak show?'

dont all be getting me in trouble, im quite capable on my own! Wink

sassy34264 · 26/06/2012 15:44

anyone want a beautiful 22 month old female who has a tendency (2nd time) to stick her hands (yes plural) in her nappy to pull out poo and spread it about her cot!

I S O B E L !!!!!

PACK IT IN.

I AM NOT AMUSED!

Scheherezade · 26/06/2012 16:14

Food court is fine, I'll bring nibbles for Cs lunch unless I see anything he might like.

Cheshire I just don't even care about hair anymore, don't worry! Today I was glad it was raining so I didnt have to wear a dress, meaning I'd have to get a shower and shave legs!

Oh, confessions thing earlier. I don't care about dropped toys, they don't get wiped ever unless they look dirty. I Hoover my kitchen floor once/twice a week but it has only been wiped 2/3 times since we moved in, 2 years ago. Similarly, Hoover the living room every day, but have never steam cleaned it.

Sometimes I hold C over our dogs back as if he is riding him and he absolutely loves it Grin (C, not the dog!).

I can go a week without brushing my hair, and only brush it when it starts to matt at the back. My excuse is, its my 'look'.

I've given up fighting and C now has 2x naps a day cuddled up with me.

FuzzzyDuckosaurus · 26/06/2012 17:18

Shock right, cut the freak show comments out haha!
Poor sassy I sounds a live wire!!!

Outnumbered4to1 · 26/06/2012 17:47

Sassy deep breaths! Poo fascination is not funny or clever I!

Overreactionoftheweek · 26/06/2012 18:02

mama loads of my family live in Southampton and New Forest way, I'm down there this wkd in fact. Are you the person on fb whose photos come up saying 'near Dibden'? I noticed that before and I thought I know that place!

I can have meet ups all over the place - get about a bit me Wink is Basingstoke any good for us to all meet half way?

I can't match the poo story sassy (thank god) but I did just have to get into the bath with H after he peed all over me...I kept causing a tidal wave over him every time I moved Blush poor bugger will be scarred for life after that!
