diddlybop I think if the positives of doing your show outwiegh the negatives of it then you should carry on! I know what you mean about rushing about between places but it's so nice for you to be able to take Toby and pick him up from school, don't forget that there are many mums who don't get to do that. It's one of the positives I always have to remember that I am there every day even if it's with 4 or 6 other children :)
My day is:
6.20 get up and walk dog (when foot not broken)
7.00 get kids up and dress
7.30 minded children arrive
7.45 get mine breakfast
8.15 leave for school- drop offs at 8.30, 8.40 and 8.50
9ish back home or straight to toddler group (Mon and Tues)
11.40 school pick up (mon, weds and fri)
12ish lunch and naps, when I then can do paperwork, ironing or a bit of internet relaxing.
2.30 one minded child goes home
3 leave for school for pick ups at 3.15 and 3.30
4ish get home, minded kids go home at 4, 4.45, 5.30 and 6
6pm cook dinner
8pm kids to bed
8.30 sit down
10ish bed
I think it's a pretty normal day for working parents unfortunately! Enjoy the time as much as you can and stay positive. Hope Toby is enjoying school!
I did PolkaDotMoonHasFangsYouKnow, he said the bones haven't moved since the previous x-ray so they won't move now. I've got rid of the boot and have to walk in flats until 8 week after the break and no high impact activity until then either. THis is when it should be fully healed and I can expect it to feel fully better. I can't drive for 3 weeks which is a bit of a bugger but my lovely mum has put me on her insurance for a month and she has an automatic (it's my left foot I broke) so I can drive myself to the rest of my course and bodyshop parties I have lined up. And no I don't ache every day, dh is always very stiff in the mornings and he reckons it's all downhill from 30 but so far at almost 32 I'm fairing pretty well. Perhaps it's the cold up north that's getting into your joint
