missree our bathroom is rank. The half-decorated dining room is half-beautiful though!

mopsy Eva is 17 weeks and 12lb 9oz! She's just over the 50th centile when taking her prematurity into account though.

figgy Eva dropped her sleepy late feed last week so she's now on 4x 8oz feeds, though she doesn't always finish them. She's starting to be interested in our food but age still seems happy on just milk. We started weaning DS at 19 weeks.

Not sure if I should share but my period was a couple of days early (I was very regular before) and different to usual. No period pains which I normally get, heavier and with blood clots which I don't get. I guess I'll never know but we're ttc so I wonder if it could be a miscarriage? :(

MissRee · 24/03/2012 23:06

I think it takes a while for periods to settle down seven but mine are completely different to how they were before. Mine at the moment is so light that I only need a panty liner whereas before I was massively heavy and clotty. I don't know whether to attribute mine to the implant I had fitted but the GP said that it's too soon to tell.

LittleMissFlustered · 25/03/2012 00:21

iZombie

LittleMissFlustered · 25/03/2012 00:30

I do have to say that I had a good first stretch though. I came to bed at half eight and octopus woke at about a quarter to midnight having been put in his crib at seven thirty:)

Still knackered though, and suspect it will have been a one off. However, I can hope to bob it's the start of a glorious new routine... Please?

AnAirOfHope · 25/03/2012 02:59

I would say im a zombie to but i dont want stratters to stake me!

LittleMissFlustered · 25/03/2012 03:16

..... I meant my, what a shame and a pity.

DS has just saluted summer time by performing an enormous poo rapidly followed by a total-body-soak puke all over him and changing mat. Now he's hungry again and I can hear the dawn chorus. I'm not ready for morning yet, go away!!!

Totally confused as to what time it is. We got 12.30 until 5 (swoon) then up for a mammoth feed. Unfortunately next door's alarm clock went off at 5.30 and has only just stopped Grrrr

Figgygal · 25/03/2012 09:01

Thanks for the formula tips ladies I'm going to up him to 8oz today and see what happens. Yesterday he didn't sleep from 3 until bed at 8.30 but slept through again so hopefully Friday night was a blip.

Getting massive smiles today Grin which is an improvement on yesterday when he cried everytime he put down.

I also am looking at a jumperoo as we have no door frames downstairs as we have open plan living room, kitchen. My niece has 1 and loves it. Danny hates his bouncy chair now and is a bit too heavy for it as the material is ripping. He cries on his play mat too most of time he likes sitting up and seeing what's going on but hates his bumbo too (sigh) which leaves bouncing on knee and carrying around which means now he's not sleeping as much I get nothing done.

Off to nct sale today then off shopping for some 1 tog sleep bags, more cot sheets (he's almost out of his Moses) and a sun hat for him, am sure will find 1 or too things for me too Grin

LittleMissFlustered · 25/03/2012 09:10

The nct sale might have a jumperoo, of not try the local paper and an eBay search locked to your postcode:)

Feel dreadful, seem to have acquired a cold overnight. Paracetamol and coffee for breakfast, then up and out as we have a christening to attend today:)

Figgygal · 25/03/2012 09:21

Am definitely not buying a jumperoo at full price I bought his rainforest mat, his swing and bouncer off eBay all for £50 which was less than I could have got the swing alone for. An eBay Jumperoo is definitely in my sights Grin

seven77 · 25/03/2012 09:53

figgy mothercare(ssh!) had sleeping bags buy one get one free a couple of weeks ago, might be worth a look?

mopsytop · 25/03/2012 10:19

aethel, have her in motherease plus rikki wrap but it is ENORMOUS!!! Could barely get her vest closed over it. I suppose they look less funny after a while when she is bigger!!!

BJR · 25/03/2012 10:34

Morning all,
The jumperoo looks really good but they look like they might take up lots of floor space in my already baby filled living room! Got DS a door bouncer yesterday, I was worried about door frame not being strong enough too but DP assured me ours are ok (He manages construction projects for a living and used to be a carpenter so I almost trust him, still I bit wary though!) DS loved it he loves being on his feet so its perfect.

After a several week love affair with his hands, he has now discovered the joy that is his feet and has taken to trying to put them in other peoples mouths if they talk to him, strange child Confused

As for formula DS is currently taking 5 6/7oz bottles a day if we manage the five in the day time then he sleeps through if we only get 4 in i wake him for a night feed as I don't think hes ready to go down to 4 feeds yet, will see how hes doing at weigh in on tuesday!

All 4 of us are going swimming this afternoon, will be the first tie we've taken both boys together so it should be fun.

LittleMissFlustered · 25/03/2012 11:35

I have lost a £20 note. I swear they have sodding legs

You will now be returned to your scheduled programme.

aethelfleda · 25/03/2012 11:36

Yep Mopsy, the one size types all tend to look bigger: I have DS up a vest size to get round the popper issue, you sometimes have to go up a trouser/sleepsuit size too, but depends on the brand. Tu, Gap and m&s come up small, next and motherdoesn'tcare are middling (so usually OK) Tesco, Asda are larger cut.
So he's in 0-3 tee shirts/trousers and 3-6 poppered vests at the moment. Don't bother with the "special cut for cloth " brands, they are v pricey, just go up a size with regular clothes. And if its that the nappy is too high and around minimopsy's armpits, you can fold down the motherease onesize to reveal 4 smaller height poppers which lowers the "rise" of the nappy. I've only just moved DS into those for daytime because as you say the onesizes do tend to give a Weeble-bum effect under 3 months!

Thanks aethel. it's not bothering her at least, the way the little lambs one was...

God it's gorgeous here! Properly summery. Just out for a walk in a cotton top and cardy, and didn't even really need the cardy!

LittleMissFlustered · 25/03/2012 12:22

Sat in a local cafe/bar waiting for it to be time to go sing badly celebrate the christening of my friend's son. Had to get here nearly an hour early due to Sunday buses :(

The octopus is rocking his hungry caterpillar togs today and looks fabulous:)

AnAirOfHope · 25/03/2012 12:57

Photo please lmf.

We are having a clean up day. Having dinner then off to do a tipe run.

OiMissus · 25/03/2012 16:05

We've tidied, been for a walk in the park in the sun, and are just waiting for friends to come round. I shall be suggesting a walk to the pub! Here here!
Glorious sunshine demands a nice beer garden.

msbuggywinkle · 25/03/2012 17:22

Beautiful weather here too...hence not being around!

Spent my birthday in the woods, then had a fire at home in the evening. Spent today in the garden, even got the paddling pool out!

We have also booked Easter weekend away, Lake district camping so we can do lots of walking.

I hate the clock change, I have spent all day feeling discombobulated!

LittleMissFlustered · 25/03/2012 19:34

I would have taken a picture, but he projectile yakked all over himself and me after I fed him this evening:( Second time in one day:(
