Oh yeh...... [hgrin]

Hiya, I'm back!!! We had a lovely time, tiring but lovely!! Mum and dad didn't really help very much with the kids, not as much as I had hoped! So it was quite hard, had to have eyes up my bum to keep both of them in check!

The hotel wasn't very child friendly, and geared towards German and Dutch people, so the food was also about random. We got there at about 10.30 pm, got to the room and there wasn't a cot in there, so rang down to reception, only to be told, there was no one who could gt me one and had to wait till the next day. Well wasn't the end of the world to have her in the middle of me and lulu, till she decided to throw up!!! She was sick as a dog, about 5 times through the night and was very quiet and off the next day. But she was fine really, once she had a couple of good poohs, ruining one brand new romper. She's now got a gunky eye. Both my kids always get a gunky eye when we go away.

And she refused her bottle for the first 2 nights, so didn't offer it the next 2 and she was fine. So have put her to bed without one tonight too. Hopefully she will not want one any more.

Violet has decided she's no longer a baby. She wants to feed herself from a spoon and wanted to drink out of the water bottle rather than her cup. Oh and she's got a new little habit of smacking, anyone, she's not fussy, and saying 'mack' and laughing like its the funniest thing ever! It's not bloody funny tho when she does it round my face! Especially on a 2 hour plane journey. I don't want to encourage it tho so keep telling her no, and had gently smacked her back when she's smacked me or lulu, so she drops her lip and false crys til she forgets what she's crying for!! I'm sure nursery will sort it out!

Welcome back Liz! Glad you had a lovely time. How was Violet with the heat?

sorry but lol at her saying 'mack' when she smacks someone!! So cute but not funny really. I have Joshua a ball earlier and said give it to daddy and he threw it at his face lol! I couldn't stop laughing.

Joshua is getting a bloody cough again and his chest is rattling again. Been coughing every 15 mins since I put him to bed at 7:15, poor sausage.
His sleeping has gone tits up since his jabs too and he's been crying every couple of hours and getting up at 7am!! Can't wait till he goes back to sleeping without a peep till 8:00/8:30!

Oh and I'm having my implant out on Thursday, had e bloody nuff of it!!

it wasnt hot, it was verging on chilly at times!!! in the day it was warm, she had bare arms and legs, but not warm enough for her to go in the pool or sea, me and luluwent in the sea upto our knees, but thats it. so it didnt bother her at all.

yes this 'mack' thing is funny and cute, but cant have her smacking people!!! i dont know what to do for the best, ignore it and hope it goes away, or tell her off.

and shes trying to say more, nanny and me. when she sees something she wants, she says 'me' over and over.

did you get a good night sleep iwish? did he settle down? has this hour change ment hes getting up earlier?

That went really quick!! Did Violet sit still on the flight?
Strange with the cup, Euan about a week ago decided he didn't want a cup anymore either, just his water bottle thing. I had 2 cycling bottles in the cupboard so he's using those! Think he feels all grown up. Wish he'd get the spoon thing, he keeps stabbing at food with a fork and does his spoon when I load it, but be good if he could do it himself lol!
Are you booking anymore hols?

Sorry Joshua is waking iwish, all went tits up in this house since his mmr. Colds, sickness, and he wakes mostly at 7ish now, which we don't mind too much as he just comes in with us and watches the TV, has his breaky, and me and Rob go back to sleep!
Why you having your implant out?

All good here, booked Tenerife 27 Nov-11 Dec, need some frikkin sun and we can't wait. Going back to the same apartments as last year (bar 2 days, exactly a year ago when we go, scary!)
Hiring a car from the airport as it's so cheap, and we've gone S/C thistime so we're not restricted too much to the hotel.

Euan now says Hiya (when he wants to, not so much when we do lol!), so cute. And when we take Bella out for a walk and shout her name, he shouts his own little word for her, the same everytime, so he's trying to say Bella.

Just wondering aswell, what you guys planning on getting the kiddiwinks for Xmas? Mum and dad have suggested an Aquadoodle that looks good, and going to get a blackboard/painting board too, also a beanbag. Was going to get him that jeep but we were are Toys r Us the other day and I put him in a car and he was so not interested!! Think that may be next year. Haven't got a clue. Don't want to get too much as he won't play with the all, but want to get something.

Re the flight, no she didn't sit still! It was like having a box of frogs on my knee. I had bought a couple of new toys from wilkinsons, and took a small pack of stickers, but mostly just kept feeding her! I took some chopped fruit and some Cheerios in a tub which kept her amused for a short while, and we sang songs with actions like round and round the garden, that sort. But mostly it was pure torture!! Not helped by the fact that we couldn't all sit together, so it was just me and lulu and violet together. Mum and dad were in a different aisle.

Re Christmas, I have bought her a toddle size pram for her to play with. Second hand for £4, but still in Argos for £30!!! It's wide and so should be easy for her to push. I have got her a vetch, I think it is, like a mixing bowl with play fruit and veg that sings songs and lights up as you put it in, that was from asda. I'm only going to get her a couple more bits, she really doesn't need anything.

Oh, and ment to say, violets been saying hiya for ages, but says it to everyone!!L nd I mean everyone. She will be going down a seer in town just shouting and waving to everyone she sees! She hasn't got the grasp of stranger danger just yet!

Yeh Joshua slept better last night. Think he only only woke crying once.

Bet it was a nightmare keeping her still liz! Did she like the beach etc?

Joshua has got an aqua doodle klou. It's fab for when they want to start drawing but at the moment Joshua just sucks the water out of the pens lol.

I'm having it out because I keep bleeding all the time. I think I've only had about 1 week not bleeding out of a month. And I'm soo moody lol

Yes she liked the beach, I got her a extra small bucket and shapes and she sat in the sand playing with them fora good 15 mins, while I took lulu in the sea. Mum and dad watched her and I half expected her to play up if I left her which she has done quite a lot just lately, but she was that busy playing, I don't think she even noticed!!!

What contraception are ŷou going to use iwish? Or aren't you?

That's lovely that she liked the beach. I am hoping it's not too hot when we go, so we can go to the beach without burning our feet!

Tried Eueys crocs on him this morning that mum and dad got him in the sale, were a bit big, but he kept them on ok. Also has some other sandals that are a bit big but should be ok.

Got an extra hour in bed this morning. Euan loves books and shouts for one in the morning, so we tucked one into his cot last night and he sat in bed with it this morning happy as. Got him about 8 in the end as he was singing like Gizmo lol!!

Aquadoodle it is then. Sounds awful bleeding all the time. I hate that time of the month as it is!!

I got some sandals for the baby for her holiday for free!! A friend of mine picked up some baby clothes for free of someone on Facebook and they were in there! They did fine for the few days wear they had!

No I didn't, we don have Halloween in this house!!! Call me tight, whatever, but it's lulus birthday and I have enough to do organising that, never mind cobwebs and fancy dress!!! Usually every year we have her party on Halloween, but now I have got the baby I thought I would leave it to the weekend, so is on Saturday.

And we have bog electric gates to keep the kids out!!!

I have just had to buy some in boots, 24 for £9!!! Then had to book a smear test next wed at the family planning clinic and could have got free ones from there!!!

Lol at being tight! Joshua only had a skeleton baby grow. I never went trick or treating as a kid so I would let Joshua have a go if he wanted to.
A party is fab anyway, that's defo not tight!! I only had 1 party when I was growing up, I was 6 and I had it at home.

Joshua's cough is awful. It sounds so bad bless him. He's got amoxicillin already and been given an inhaler and spacer from docs

I think if lulu went trick or treating she might have heart failure!!! As you know she's easily scared! She had a fit at the airport cause she thoughts he was going to bleep through the scanner, she honestly nearly hyperventilated!!!

I said she might be able to go next year. But down our lane you would have to walk half a mile to gt to 2 people's places! Not like on a street. So said she might be able to go to a friends house and go round their street!

Just been to Joshua's parents evening. So cute. They said he's really good and is learning so much. They showed me some of his art work too. Proud of my little boy :)

Oh my god have I been stressed out today. It's been lulus party. Now LaDies let me give you some of my words of wisdom. When your boys are older and you want to throw them a party, don't do it!!!! we had it at the local leisure center as she didn't want it at a play place, so I had to do all the food, for 26 kids!! All they wanted to do is run and scream!!! I've told her, never again. Next year I will take her and a couple of friends to the cinema or something, no more parties.

Oh and all i have done is eat birthday cake since Wednesday. So not good for my diet.

Nick was out with his friends yesterday and working late Friday so only seen him today, not that we have done much lol.

Been shopping today, just me and th baby as luluwent racing with her dad. So went to get started on her Christmas presents. She wants a innotab and saw one in debenhms ith 10%off at £76, so thought that must be cheap. Till I got to toys r us and it was only £65 in there!!! So bought that one and returned the dearer one! Saved myself £11.

It's been abit chilly! We went to a bonfire last night, was told it started at 5.30 so we went for then, only to be told they wernt lighting it till 7 and the fireworks just after. So went home again! It was far too cold for the baby to be out it for that long. She kept taking her gloves off as soon as I put hem on and her little hands were like blocks of ice.

It was only across the river t the end of the field anyway, we could see the fire from out the kitchen window, and the fireworks were good but lulu was bit scared of the bags, so good job we didnt stay!

Morning peeps, violets got a cold yet again,sounds like her bad chest is coming back, god I hope it doesn't get as bad if I keep using this inhaler.
Sunday and Monday night she was awake for hours in the night, her cough woke her and then she was just awake crying on and off and nothing would comfort her. Or me!

Full night sleep last night tho, thank god.

Euan started to get a cold Sunday morning when he was at the in laws, he was up at 6 for them!!

Anyway, knew it was his teeth, sure enough Monday we had 2 new bottom molars! Woke up this morning at 4, but went back off after I'd been in to tuck him back in. Still got this sodding cough of his though. Doesn't have it all day, just at night.
I've started giving him a blanket as well as his sleeping bag to try and get him used to a cover. OK so far, but i don't know if he's been kicking it off.

Been looking at chrimbo pressies for him today. So far I think am going to get him a stainless cutlery set, a trampoline, rainbow aquadoodle, puzzles (not sure which one though), a dressing gown, a blackboard/painting easel from Ikea, and not sure what else yet.
Don't want to get him too much as he won't play with it, so some of these the parents can buy.

Any ideas for Joshua Iwish? Are you all sorted Liz?

Want to get cracking before we go away. Rob's going away for 5 days from Saturday to Italy olive picking. A friends uncle has a place out there and they go every year but Rob's never made it. Dreading being on my own with Euan and 2 dogs lol!! Sounds bad doesn't it!!

Hiya klou, I am getting violet one of them hovers like iwish had in that little video on Facebook, well actually it's already on its way off eBay. It the shops its nearly £30!! I got it for 6 second hand, so she wil like that, not going to et her much tho.

Oh, just remembered we actually need a new Christmas tree!! Totally forgot about chucking ours out last year! I do remember it breaking and me getting mad with it!
