He's unbelievable Liz what do you want to do?

Glad you got lots if lovely things shopping iwish
I heard they lost weight too as running around etc, also they don't eat so much. Think he's going to be tall and skinny lol!

Still feel like utter shite. So sick of coughing now and blowing my nose every 5 mins. I even woke Euan up this morning at 6.45 :(
Had some friends round for dinner yesterday afternoon, they left around 9, I was knackered. So good to see them. They live on the isle of man, we went on the cruise with them.
Anyway, not seen her since the cruise 2 years ago, and him since we told him I was pregnant last January!!!
Always back from Wales at different times etc. They're good friends. First time they'd met Euey too, he was good as gold bless him.
She's 52 and has grown up twin boys from previous marriage (he's 39), I said I didn't know how she did it!! She said, you just do!!

Sorry you still feel so crap klou early night for you tonight! Is Euan better?

Been at work today. Was happy to get home to my gorgeous boy. Am shattered tho. Had a crap sleep last night then busy at work then busy when I got home

Iwish · 02/10/2012 19:01

Omg went swimming today with Joshua, my friend and her little girl and guess what, Joshua did a poo in him swimming nappy!! How on earth was I meant to get a wet poo filled swimming nappy off him when he's freezing and trying to walk/crawl off??
Well in the swimming baths there are individual cubicals with showers in so I had to take the nappy off and stick his arse under the shower lol!! It was totally traumatic.

How are you lovely ladies?

lizandlulu · 03/10/2012 16:59

Me personally am totally pissed off, and that's all I have to say at this moment!!!

Iwish · 03/10/2012 19:08

Oh no liz hun. Sending you a virtual hug and I hope things get better xxx

KLou111 · 03/10/2012 20:14

Oh Liz big hugs, I guess there has been no good progress :(

Lol iwish at the poo!! I hope it stayed in his nappy!!!

Well all good here, finally starting to feel a bit better, not been coughing much today, but still bunged up.
I had to get a repeat prescription of the pill today, and spoke to Rob about baby 2 last night. I already knew he was going off the idea, but he finally admitted he doesn't really want another baby.
I am quite sad, but totally understand why. Mainly it's because we have finally just 'got a life' again, and if we have 2, it will be a lot more difficult. Also, holidays will be less often with 2, but I think the biggest thing is us having time together really.
On thinking about it, I said that I didn't want Euan to be an only child though, and Rob said did I want a child for us though, not just Euan, and tbh, I couldn't answer.
I didn't enjoy pregnancy, I didn't enjoy the whole feeding thing, but I do enjoy the whole new things that Euan learns. I love the first time I see him in the morning, and I am totally and utterly besotted with him, but honestly I can't say 100% that I do want another.
I think perhaps we may talk about it again next year, but for now Euey is our number 1 :)

Theres no rush is there to make a definite decision. There's nothing wrong with having just one, and there's no way he's going to feel lonely with both of you giving him your full attention. See how you both feel in a years time.

Iwish, the things you have to do hey!!!

He's still not gone to work, I'm still in a sort of limbo. Just very very angry and peed off with him.

lizandlulu · 05/10/2012 17:43

Well havent I had a lovely 2days!! Violet started Wednesday with her chesty wheeze and cough, not a very happy girlie, but I took her to nursery as usual. They rang me at half 2to say can I fetch her cause she wasn't very happy, do I sent mum as I was at work. Then she rang to say can I come home cause she just wants her mums.

Any way. Got home and she was having real trouble breathing, or it looked like it to me, I thought I wasn't going to get in at the doctors at that time of day so took her to the hospital. They looked at her and gave her a nebuliser which cleared up a lot of the wheeze, but still wanted a paedeatrition to look at her so had to go by ambulance to kings mill hospital about 20 mile away.

Got put on a ward and waited 2 hours to be seen, for them to say yes she sounded fine and we could go home once the registrar had been. But thn she got called down to the a and e, so by this time it was 11 and violet had only just gone to sleep, the doctor said we should stay the night. Oh what joy it is to sleep on a word of 4 poorly kids in a reclining chair!!!

Needless to say I am knackered and will sleep very well in my own bed tonight!

KLou111 · 08/10/2012 21:24

How is violet now Liz i bet you were scared to death!! Did Chris come? How is everything?

How are you iwish?

Well we are absolutely frikkin knackered!! Poor little Euan woke up at 11, left tv on til 12 (family guy lol!!) Then tried to get him to sleep in our bed. At 1 he was still wriggling around so I took him to his cot where he tried to kick out of my arms en route, but went straight to sleep, but woke before 6 :(
Thing is, he is shattered, but the bloody mucas is gathering when he lies down and he can't breathe through his nose.
Robs not got it. Had a look on net, and people are saying the mmr can do this, which would make sense as we've both been not right since. Apparently it can be up to 6 weeks after!! May go to docs tomorrow.

KLou111 · 08/10/2012 21:26

Just heard him coughing :(

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 09/10/2012 17:32

Oh no, have ŷou got his cot tilted at the head end? Not slot you can do! I have a humidifier that works well on snot, brings it all out. Worth investing one of them, they are about £40, I have only used mine a couple of times, but a friend of mine swears by hers when her kids have colds.

Yes all is back well and good here, he came out of his mood bout Friday and back to work Monday, he's just got to remember not to slip back into his old ways and do too much, cause its then when he gets like that.

Yes he came to the hospital and went home about 11pm when the doc said we would have to stay in, then came and picked us up the next morning. He'd actuall packed a wash bag for me with my stuff to have a shower and some clean clothes, just in case we had to stay longer! But we could come home anyway.

He seems to be a lot more thoughtful, I think this time he has realised what he could have lost.

lizandlulu · 12/10/2012 19:16

How is everyone? Is your cold gone klou?

KLou111 · 12/10/2012 20:26

Evenin' all!!

So glad Chris is being so much more thoughtful Liz. From the sounds of it he's sorted his head out a bit, and for the better. Hopefully he's starting as he means to go on. Happy days :)
How's little Violet now?

All good here. Took Euan to the docs Tuesday, and he gave me some saline nasal stuff. From then, he's slept in til 8/8:15, and 2 top molars have cut. I got the doc to look though as it looked like he had an absess on one as it was all yellow and gooey looking, but she said it was ok. He's got a huge flap of skin on the one where it's pushed though, looks so painful!!
Wed night he woke at 11 and we though oh shit here we go again, but after 15 mins I gave him Calpol, teether powder and nose spray, and he settled and finally went off by 11:30. I was give anti biotics, and subsequently between them and being able to sleep, I feel so much better :) Just slightly got a bit of crap at the back of my throat, and a slight tickle but no biggie.

Been to Zumba tonight for the very first time, was great, really enjoyed it. A friend of a friend was the instructor so that helped as I already knew her (from toddler group), now got a curry on order lol!
Going to start being good now though, as now we semi decided about not having another child, for the moment anyway, I need to get rid of my baby belly!!

Going out tomorrow night, though we'd have to cancel if Euan was still playing up as he's staying at the in laws overnight for the first time! My mum and dad are away for the weekend so they couldn't have him.
Looking really forward to it as it's usually people coming to us, so it'll be so nice to go somewhere for a change!
Feel a bit anxious for Robs mum and dad, but I'm sure Euan will be fine. He's fine at my mum and dads so there shouldn't be anything different. I've done them a list of what to do too, so should all be ok.

How are you Iwish?

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 13/10/2012 21:00

Ahh poor Euans teeth sound painful!! What causes the skin flap? Is it the tooth coming through quick?

Violets got side teeth, still only 2 on the top and 3 on the bottom front, but the teeth further towards the back are through.

She's back to normal, no wheezing at all, all smiles and cheek!!

I think with ll this commotion at home and illness, I have not said how her waking is coming on! She can walk quite a lot now, she does a good 20 steps before falling over, she can walk for ages if you hold her hand, but my god she can climb!!! Won't sit still for 2 seconds and getting her dressed or changed is becoming a nightmare, especially ifs its a poohy one and she trying her best to get away!

We are going to benidorm in 2 weeks, not looking forward to the plane at all. What can I do to keep her entertained for. 2 hours???
Me, the kids and mum and hopefully dad are going. Dads still undecided since Chris was funny, he's booked on, but I think he wants to make doubly sure Chris will be ok while we are away.
I now it looks bad leaving Chris home while I go away with my parents, but it's always been planned cause Chris is going away for 5 days at the beginning of November, and it was his choice to go with them rather then a family holiday at half term.

Lulus gone to stay at mum and dads tonight!! For no special reason, just cause she wanted to.its the first time ever that she's gone out of choice! Cause she stayed there last week while I was with violet in the hospital, she said that she wanted to stay there again so she's gone again tonight. This baby better sleep in!!!

WHere are you tonight? Any where special?

Iwish · 16/10/2012 20:26

Hi ladies

Sorry I've not been about (again).

Glad chris is being nicer and more thoughtful liz. Is he still keeping it up? How's violet and her walking?

klou how are you? How's Euan?

Joshua has been a right whinger today. He was in bed at 7:30 tonight and was knackered bless him. Bought him some cute little wellies at weekend so he can go splashing around in puddles etc. he looks so cute in them.

lizandlulu · 16/10/2012 21:15

Ahh, my dad bought violet some Wellies t the weekend too!!, they are a size 5 and I thought they would be massive on her but theyre not! She walks funny ith them on tho, might be a tad big!

She walking loads more, she's on her 2nd pair of shoes now. I got some lovely purple clarks, not a boot but more up the ankle, with a strap that crosses over the front.

Yes Chris is a lot better, still being nice and thoughtful, it's unnerving!!

Is Joshua coming down with something do you think?

Iwish · 18/10/2012 19:07

I'm not sure liz. He doesn't seem ill. I thought maybe more teeth but can't see any.
Joshua walks kinda funny in his wellies but i think it's because they have a hard sole and his normal shoes are clarks cruisers so they are really soft.
He wants to walk everywhere now, he was walking round the park today.

How are you klou? Xx

lizandlulu · 22/10/2012 19:36

How are you both? Had a good weekend?

Iwish · 22/10/2012 19:45

Hey liz. Had a nice weekend thanks. How was yours? Xx

lizandlulu · 23/10/2012 17:20

Good thanks,

Question, do you think 20 degrees is warm enought for the baby to have bare arms and legs? We are going to benidorm on Thursday and it's going to be 20-23 and stupidly enough, I don't know if she's going to be warm enough in little outfits! I can't remember what that warm feels like!

Iwish · 23/10/2012 19:03

Erm I'm not sure. Joshua would be warm enough I think but he's a fairly warm child. Maybe bring a few pairs of little leggings and some thin cardigans.

Joshua had his jabs today, he was brave and only cried for a minute tho. And he went to bed at 7:30 last night and didnt get up till 8:45 this morning :)

lizandlulu · 25/10/2012 08:22

Is he ok after his jabs?

Well I have packed, getting picked up at 2 and not flying till 5.30. I am dreading the plane with the baby on my knee for 2 hours!

Iwish · 25/10/2012 19:14

Hope you have a fab time!

He's a bit whingy after his jabs and his leg is swollen and bruised. Poor little poppet. He's had a temp too so dosed him up on calpol.

Been shopping today with my birthday money. Why us it that when you have money you can't find anything?? I bought 1 top and some converse trainers.

How r u klou?

KLou111 · 25/10/2012 20:15

Helllllooooo ladies!!!

Sorry not been on for a while. Been reading and keeping up, just been lazy!!

Have a fab holiday Liz. Remember it's 20 in the shade, and direct heat always feels warmer anyway so if it's 20 at night, violet will Judy want a little cardi or something.
Euans room sits at 19 always, and he sleeps in a long vest and pjs, and 2.5 sleeping bag! But it's cool when you walk in.
Hope all ok with Chris and the girls ok.

Hope josh ok iwish, did he have a jab in his leg???
Glad you have spent a bit of your money. I know what you mean though when you want something you can never get it.

I was a bit like that today. I never go shopping really as I do most clothes stuff online, but mum and dad wanted to take me out as it's my birthday next Thursday, and won't get a chance beforehand so went today. Got loads. Got a lovely cream cable knit jumper dress from john richer (get me, I'm normally a primark girl ha!), a brown stripey jumper dress from west one (again, get me!!), black jeans and leggings from bhs (a frikkin size 12 baby!!!!), and a waterfall cardi from primark :) They got Euey 2 little jumpers from there too, a cream cardi and grey robbed jumper.
Had a great day, fish n chips for lunch too. Euan has eaten so much shite today but a one off doesn't hurt! He had a pizza and choc gingerbread bat from greggs, ice cream from McDonald's, and some of our chips!! Little monkey. Considering he's had no sleep whatsoever today, he's been good as gold.
Was a bloody grump this morning, was doing my nut in to be honest so I left him to Rob!

Trying to book a hol ourselves at the mo but everytime we find one a phone to book, the little bastards put £175-200 on top!! Need some sun!!

OP posts:
Iwish · 27/10/2012 21:39

Yeh klou he had his jabs in his legs. He's had all his jabs in his legs. It's still a bit bruised but doesn't seem to be bothering him.

Wish I was a 12!! I have to get a size 16 now. I was a 12 before Joshua.
Been out again to the shops today and got another pair of jeans and a top.

Oh and I had another sickness and diarrhoea bug on Friday. Woke up at 3:15am and kept being sick and on the loo so didn't go to work. Still feel tired today. Mum has Joshua on a Friday so she still watched him yesterday while I was in my sick bed.
