Had another fab night last night, Euan slept til 7.45 :)
Just off to spend some of his birthday money (and my Xmas money!!) Going to get him a winter coat, there's a lovely one on the M&S website so going to have a look there and debenhams.

We have been to do a bit of shoppin today, I wanted a few tips I can wear with leggings. Of course I came back with sod all. Got Joshua some pjs and done new shoes from clarks.

And Joshua is sick again!! Now he's got a cough but it's really mucousy and he's trying to cough it up but just heaving. He kept coughing all night so I was awake every couple of hours and he was crying from 5:55am!

Currently have a hyperactive little boy running round the lounge after Bella and jumping off the sofa due to the neighbours having a party and waking him up!!!
Don't mind, but a bit of warning would've been good!!!!!!!

JUST put him to bed, fucking idiots!

BTW, that time of posting is wrong, it was 00:38 not 02.38! I'd have been banging on their door if it had been!!
I read a chapter of his book and straight off till 8.45!
They finally shut up at 1.30am.

Been to get Joshua's last prezzies today. Got him a vacuum and a track to go with some cars he's got. Not getting any more, he's got 4 prezzies from us now. I did see this tho and think it looks good.

Been to a soft play centre today with my friend and her LO and Joshua loved it. Was happily playing instead of hanging round my ankles.
Been a nightmare sleeping again tonight tho bout him in bed at 7:20 and he only just stopped whinging/crying 5 minutes ago. Went up a million times. He's been like this for 2 weeks now!

Well, Euan decided to wake up at 6 this morning and his hands and feet were freezing cos I didn't close his window before bed.

If I open the window you can hear all the banging from next doors shed (he's building a car) so it just makes him harder to settle. He sleeps through usually once he's asleep so it's not too bad.
He went down fine tonight, was knackered tho.

Hiya, all, I am back now till next week. Had a good time, but bloody knackering, jersey is not pushchair friendly!!!

I got violets first shoes while we was there, clarks pink leather ones. Dead cute. Didn't buy much else tho.

She was bit unsettled in the different bed, but wasn't too bad.

We have got rid of the bottle in the mornings now and she didn't want the evening bottle while we were there. The milk must have tasted different or something, but she wouldn't even try it on the last night. So she now just has the one bottle a day.

She still only has 4 teeth!!! Can't believe Euan has 8!!!!

Hope you are both well, is Joshua any better iwish? It's awful for them isn't it.

Aparently them dehumidifies are good for getting rid of snot, but didn't do much for violet. But I think the door needs to be totally shut for them to work and hers wasn't.

You can also get a plug in thing to help with congestion that's nice to use. Feels like its doing something rather than nothing.

I know what you mean about the sodding rain klou, it's ment to be bad round here all weekend, what joy.

Oh and went to that wedding reception sat night, got bloody drunk didn't I! I drank on an empty stomach as I was going to have some buffet food, but by the time the buffet opened I was past caring! Was sick Sunday morning twice and then had to go to he races looking like death warmed up. Honestly, I a, not drinking no more. It's not worth it!

I've just bought one of them karvol plug ins liz. Seems to help him a bit. He still has a cough tho, been over a week now so think I should take him to the docs now.
Lol at the drinking. We all say we aren't drinking again but still do . Did you get violet cruisers from clarks? Joshua's are cruisers.

We have been to soft play the last 2 days lol. And I bought a new car yesterday. Yippee!! Can't wait to get it.
Joshua's sleep has gone back to being ok ATM. He did wake for a hour at 4am Sunday morning tho bear crying his eyes out but I don't know why. He didn't get up till 7:45 this morning so I was happy lol.

Does he like the soft play area? I think I am going to take violet abit more to them places, I didn't let lulu play on her own like that enough and that's prob why she was so clingy for years!

I have have a quiet weekend, Chris and lulu went to Buxton racing yesterday and didn't come home till tonight so it's just been me and the baby for 2 days. Went shopping to Lincoln yesterday and meadowhall to meet a freind for dinner today.

Violet didn't wake up will 9.20 today!!! It's th longest she's slept in for months, she had a wuite unsettled night, nuts have been her teeth cause she kept waking for a little cry but then going back off. Plus she had a late night n sat night as we were at another wedding reception and she didn't go to bed till 9.30, yet was up at 7 Sunday morning. Makes no sense!!

Yes her shoes were clarks ones, I can't do links on my iPad, but hey are just a pink leather trainer style shoe, fine with leggings and trousers, but not very good for dresses! But seeing as she hasn't worn a dress for weeks it's not a problem, cause she's still crawling everywhere, dresses just get in the way.

She's still not very steady on her feet, she can stand on her own for about 5 seconds, but that is it.

And still only 4 teeth!!!

Yeh he likes it. He just crawls around and plays with balls or climbs up things. If he's tired tho he just clings to my leg lol.
Bloody hell 9:20 is fab!! Wish Joshua would sleep till that time haha. Strange that she was up at 7 tho after not going to bed till late. Joshua is the same tho.

Been to the docs with him this morning and they said it sounds like he has an infection since he's been ill for over a week and his temp was high this morning. They said he was wheezy too. He has been given amoxicillin and ventolin syrup and he can have calpol at the same time. Poor boy. He's been falling asleep on me all morning and now he's asleep in his pram

I had a focus last year, they are lovely, so nice to drive, I used to sit in it really comfy.

Does that ventolin syrup do the same as the inhaler?? It might be worth trying that for violet, wonder why I've not been offered it before. The inhaler is a nightmare to get her to have but she has calpol like its delicious!

Yeh it does the same job liz it says on the leaflet that they give the syrup to babies as thet cant really use the inhalers so maybe you should go back to the docs and see if you can get some.

Yeh Joshua loves calpol. I gave him the amoxicillin before bed and he cried hysterically when I took the bottle away lol! Think he would have had more than just the one spoonful.

I'm so excited to get my new car. A little sad I'm getting rid of mine tho :(

I will go back and ask the docs if she gets bad again. She currently has a cough. There is always something wrong with her!! One thing after another. She was coughing all last night, she seemed to be asleep, just coughing in her sleep, I think she finally stopped at about half 5 cause chris's alarm clock went off and then I couldn't get back to sleep.

I tried to give her some cough stuff before she went to bed but she doesn't like that! I don't know how she can tell the bloody difference between that and calpol but she does and I have a hard time getting some down her, I don't think it's done any good either.

We are going to chatsworth tomorrow in the caravan, coming home Sunday, I am really looking forward to it, just hoping the baby sleeps ok on the bunk bed. She's on the bottom bunk but there's not much of a lip on the bed to stop her falling out. I can put her right down one end of the bunk which has the side of the wardrobe against it, so as long as she doesn't move too much she should be ok.

Sod the kids, I LOVE calpol!!!

SOory haven't written for a while ladies, I wrote a massive post last night, pressed post and my frikkin phone locked up and then went back to the menu screen, I was not impressed!! I'm on the computer now.

Them shoes are so cute Iwish Hope little Joshua feeling a bit better, poor little man. And Violet Liz poor little love, hope her chest clears up soon :(

Glad Joshua likes the soft play. I've been wanting to taken Euan to the place near us, but a friend went a couple of weeks ago and said don't bother in the holidays, as it was rammed!

Well, all good here. Euans sleeping is more or less back to normal thank god! He woke at 12.45 last night for 10 mins, got him a drink and he went back off, then the stupid dog woke him at 7.10!
He's totally off the bottle now, has been since the day after his birthday, which is great. He has a cup of milk with his break and a cup before bed. He doesn't drink it all, about 3/4 of it.
Just been to the docs to have his jabs. He was meant to have 3, one being his MMR, so I said I wasn't keen on him having all of them together, so she did the 2 and we BOTH are having the MMR next Friday. My Rubella was low when pregnant, so I have to have that.
He was all smiles within seconds of having both jabs, and the nurse fell in love with him lol. Hopefully he's the same next week!! Fingers crossed he sleeps ok tonight.

Been trying to book a holiday, saw one we wanted Tuesday morning and went to book it that evening and the cheaper room had gone and it was £200 more! Anyway, just looked, and it's gone up another £40!!
It was back to a Holiday Village like Egypt, but this one was Tunisia as it is meant to be nicer, but also not as hot. Means we can put Euan in the creche as I can't find any other places that do it.

Anyway, it's got so expensive that rather than do one 2 week holiday now, we could do one S/C 2 weaker and a 1 week AI to the canaries somewhere for the same money! Thing is, Euan is getting so big now and just wants to run around, that we need a really quick flight, which Tunisia was 2.5hrs so really close vs Canaries being 4.5. Don't know what to do!!! But I need some bloody sun!!!

She's had her jabs today, all 3 and she was fine all morning, she had them done at 10.25 , but since 4 pm she's been proper Mardy.

So, have you got a holiday klou? I totally understand where your coming from about the flight. Personally I wouldn't go any where over 2 hours, it's just too much bloody hard work and it stresses me out! An hour to jersey last week was bad enough!

If you do go tho, stickers and small bottle of bubbles work wonders. I planned on feeding her a arisen every 5 mins didn't quite work like that. The whole pack was gone before take off!!

Did he give up his bottle ok? I keep thinking about doing it sooner rather than later as when we go anywhere she never wants it or has a tiny bit of milk. In jersey she didn't want it at all, the milk must have tasted different, and at the weekend in the caravan, she had a couple of ounces if that, but at home she does have between 3-4 ounces before bed.

Just sat here writing this and a spider the size of a small dog just went running across the floor!

Euan probably has 5oz in the morning and 3-4oz ay bedtime, then a couple of yoghurts in the day. He gave up the bottle overnight, cold turkey!! Strange the milk was different to her in jersey. More creamy I expect.

Fuck! As I was typing that Euan slipped in the bath and went under! Poor little man was distraught :( In bed now and calmed down. Scared the crap out of me!!

I got him some new shoes today. Only had the choice of 2 in the shop, a blue pair with a dinosaur on that I didn't like or these Saw they were £32 and almost died, but robs nan gave him £30 for his birthday so we said we'd get his first pair of shoes with it. Anyway, got to the til and came up £9!! Might be worth you checking it out for Joshua iwish They're from the premium range too!!

Violet slept all night as normal, she was abit warm t nursery and agitate so they dosed her up and she was fine. Apparently they can get unwell from the jabs 8-10 days after. I really hope she doesn't. She's always bloody ill, would be nice to be illness free for a while.

I am having a smart meter fitted tomorrow, going to help me keep my electric bill down apparently, and got the alarm routine check so I'm stuck in the house all afternoon, oh joy.

Oh and me nd Chris aren't getting on. Suprise suprise. Same old story, nothing changed. Am proper fed up

I know I shouldn't have been on ((slaps wrist)) I'm not normally, but Rob was cooking dinner and took my phoe up as needed a charge so thought I'd quickly come on. Wish I hadn't now, but all was good.
Euans going to my in laws today, we haven't got a clue what to do lol. They're dropping him off at 5ish so got the whole day :)

Glad violet slept ok. I've read that bout the mmr too, fingers crossed she's back to normal in no time x
