Yey Joshua again :) clever fella x

I can beat the 6, my friend had her 7th 2 months before Euan!! Shock her eldest started high school in September!!

Well, all good here. Euan shouted at 3 as he'd turned, then up at 7.30, so hoping it will get back to normal soon.

We've had a letting agent (sole let) out today and we got better than we thought feedback. He said it could let for £150 per month more than what we thought, so very happy with that.
Fingers crossed. Just waiting for figures back from our financial dude to let us know what we can afford to buy, and hopefully we can shortlist some houses and go and have a looksie :) That one with the conservatory I showed you has just sold, but have a couple more we like.

And very Envy at mama iwish!!!

Iwish · 11/04/2012 20:55

Wow £150 more is a bonus klou hope you find the house of your dreams now! He's definitly making a 'mmm' sound rather tha 'ddd' so hopefully will say mummy first lol.

Think we are going swimming tomorrow after we have picked my car up from the garage.

Keep your fingers crossed he sleeps again tonight

Iwish · 12/04/2012 16:05

Poop sleep!! Down at 7:15 and he woke me every hour from 12:30 coughing then he woke at 4:30 coughing and crying and wouldn't settle so ended up with me. He woke at 6:10 and wouldn't go back to sleep. So nick tool him downstairs at 7:45 and I had a sleep from 8:00 till 9:40. Would be nice if he'd sleep well every night instead of once or twice a month!! Feel sorry for him today tho because he's all snotty, tired and coughing.

lizandlulu · 12/04/2012 22:22

Must have been a bad night for the babies last night, violet was awake from half 11 to half 1 . Not crying or moaning, just shouting and talking to herself. She can now say baba, mama and dada. Not really to or at anyone, just sounds she can make. And the dad did come first, but she def makes more mama sounds now.

Well, not really made much food for her, tonight we had chicken and mushroom pie, mash and beans, so did some of hat for her tea tomorrow, but as I was whiz zing it up, it dawned on me that it had been heated twice. The pie s cooked but cold when we bought it, so I just heated it up in the oven for us, and was going to give it to her tomorrow night, but that would mean heating it up again and I can't do hat can I?

KLou111 · 12/04/2012 23:12

I would say no Liz, once for cooking, once for heating is what I understood it to be.
How come violet was awake so long?
I want the mama!!
Euan fell over from standing earlier (well, actually crawling up me!), to on his bum, and I could have sworn he said oops!!!

I'd say a tooth is on its way iwish, Euan had a snotty cold and cough for almost 2 weeks, shit sleep, then out popped his tooth and all better again!

Iwish · 14/04/2012 08:23

Better night last night, 7:15 till 6:30, milk then asleep till 8:00. Although he was on my bed after his feed because we lay down to feed and I couldn't be arsed moving lol.

Will she eat food cold liz Joshua doesn't mind cold food so would eat it cool.

Aaah bless him klou maybe he's noticed you saying it and is starting to make the sound.

lizandlulu · 14/04/2012 21:30

she will eat cols sweet stuff, but not savoury. it has to be warm, even if its just luke warm she will still eat it, just not stone cold.

i dont know why she was awake so long i the night, just felt like it i think1! shes not done it since, although has woke between 4-5 for the last 3 nights, going back to sleep after bottle.

NEW MILESTONE today!!!! she can wave!!! i thought it was a fluke, but she did it about 4 times when mum and dad came at tea time and went. we all laughed at her and she did it some more!! not just a wave with the hand tho, she kind of sticks her arm out and waves it about from the elbow if you know whay i mean, abit like a mechanical doll would do, do you see what i mean??

KLou111 · 14/04/2012 23:25

Awwwww so cute Liz I love it when our babies do something new!!
I know what you mean with the wave too.

All good here. Euan was in the car for almost 4 hours today as back in the midlands. He was good as bloody gold bless him. Slept for the first 30 mins, then decided he'd sing to us, so the dummy went in! He ain't quite a pop star yet lol! Stopped for 5 mins about halfway while I sorted his food and jumped in the back with him, and he ate it stone cold just out the jar! Didn't think he would mind.

He's been fast asleep since 7, fingers crossed he doesn't wake up til at least 7.30am :)
He is now flipping on his front more so wants to be flipped back in the night.
Could do with a good nights sleep, I've got the bed to myself til Monday :)

Got a rental viewing on our house Monday but we are here til weds, so agents doing it.
We've got 5 housed to go and look at Monday aft.
Our fave that only came on this last week has sold already!!! Grrrrr!!! Not meant to be.

lizandlulu · 16/04/2012 19:41

Ohhh poor you iwish hope it doesn't last too long and no one else catches it from you

Klou, the house just wasn't ment to be. Are the other ones you are going to see nice? Well they must be nice, but really nice?

Iwish · 17/04/2012 10:11

I feel a lot better today thanks liz. Still feel a bit wierd but not as rough. We went to bed at 7:30 and watched tv, I was asleep by 9pm lol. Joshua went to bed at 7:15, got up for milk at 5:50 then back to bed till 7:45 so I had a great sleep. Up to now Joshua is ok so keeping my fingers crossed.
How's violet?

KLou111 · 17/04/2012 20:30

Hellooo my lovely ladies :)

iwish you need a new body!! You poor poor thing :(
Great that Joshua has been sleeping well.

How is your little lady Liz? Did you enjoy your childless shopping?

Well, all ok here. Having a lovely time a my parents with Euey. They love him to bits!!
They bought him a chocolate bunny today, good friggin god it went everywhere!!! Pictures on fb. It was so funny!!
He stood up in the bath tonight!! Sooooo proud!! He pulled himself up with the taps. Got my phone to get a vid and he wouldn't do it again!!! Did it 3 times though.

Went to see the houses. One we are going to see again tomorrow morning as we really like it. Only thing are concerned about is it has so many houses around it but tbh, we are looking to buy it with a view to just getting back here, and in a couple if years let it out as it's a perfect multi let house. But if we like it we may stay. It's a 10 min walk from my mum n dads as we did it today. Will show you a link.
Saw another one we like but needs a loooot of work and is way overpriced. It's the one on the one road we wanted to live out of everywhere, but they never come up for sale, so will have to see.
We had a rental viewing on ours today, and have another Thursday eve so fingers crossed :)

i cant believe euan ispulling himself up already, what is he, superman!!!!

shopping on sunday was a little disappointing, i was looking for a specific dress type and couldnt find anything right. you know how when you have kids with you you see loads of stuff but cant look, then when you can look, you find nothing.

feeling better iwish?

KLou111 · 18/04/2012 17:45

Well we put an offer in and they rejected it. We did start quite low though to be fair.
We've been told they've just had another offer today, but we are not certain they have. It's just a but funny it's been on the market for months, and just so happens the day we second view they have someone else!!!
We've upped our offer twice, but not heard, that was at 3.10, so anxiously waiting.......

OP posts:
KLou111 · 18/04/2012 17:47

What dress you looking for Liz?

OP posts:
KLou111 · 18/04/2012 17:51

Just heard, the agent hasn't heard back, they're just leaving work so it will be tomorrow now. FFS!!!!

OP posts:
Iwish · 18/04/2012 19:49

Omg klou I do need a new body, it's gone all crappy since Joshua was born.
Hmmm trust them to keep you waiting! Hope you hear back first thing tomorrow. House is lovely.

Yeh feeling a bit better liz. Still feel a bit sicky but I'm not being sick etc now.
Yeh it's sods law you see loads of stuff when you either havnt got any money or baby/kids are with you.

Think I'm going getting a new pram on Friday. I fancy one of these...
www.mamasandpapas.com/product-luna-blue/2218b4000/type-i/
Maybe not in blue tho.

KLou111 · 18/04/2012 19:56

Why'd you want a new pram iwish?

OP posts:
Iwish · 18/04/2012 20:12

Mine is just too big for my little car. I have to dismantle it to get it in my boot and I can't be bothered. Just want a smaller one to put in the boot.

lizandlulu · 19/04/2012 14:47

I have a Luna iwish, they are really nice to push, but make sure you try before you buy. There is a couple of things I would change on it. The straps aren't attached to the back of the seat, they kind of attach from the bottom of the seat, so if you have a squirmer, while they can't fall out, they can move quite abit. Violet always slumps to the side in hers and have yet to found a way to stop it. But saying hat, they are really nice. I had one with lulu then saw this one in the paper brand new and cheap so got it and kept it till I wanted to use it.

Klou, hey just do it to make you sweat! I remember buying our 2nd house and we put in an offer on a Thursday, they declined, so we made another offer and had to wait all bloody weekend, it was horrible.

How's all the babies??

KLou111 · 19/04/2012 17:59

Hi both, well just got home a couple of hours ago, took us 3.5 hours. Euan slept a couple. I feel like I spent most of the journey on the phone to agents!!! We got refused our offer, so we have upped it TWICE more on the way back. The agent has even offered them to reduce their fees as they know we're a cert.
Anyway, should know tomorrow. Oh, and spoke to another man within the agency, and there wasn't another offer. Tempted to call some government body and report them as that was so wrong (and illegal) they did that. Fucking hate estate agents!!
Got another viewing here tonight at 7 (great bloody timing!!!) We did have another one but the agent has just called and said they have 5 dogs so we said no way. The one yesterday wants somewhere a bit further from a road. So we will see what tonight brings.....

OP posts:
lizandlulu · 19/04/2012 21:13

Yes can't you report them AFTER the sale has gone throughGrin but sopse they would just deny all knowledge, it's only their word against your agents, but so so bloody wrong!!!! You would think they would just be happy to get e good offer and sell it if it's been on the market for a year.

Hope your viewing goes well for you tonight!

Well, I am so so happy with violets eating this last couple of weeks, she has eaten nearly everything I have given her, and eaten a good amount. The phase she went through where she hardly ate any savoury food seems to have passed. She still loves her sweet stuff, but is eating half a jar or savoury at least at every meal time, she's such a good poppet.
I know I shouldn't say it, but she gives me a lot more joy than lulu did at her age. I think it was a mix of me being anxious, worried and stressed with moving for the first year of her life, I never relaxed or enjoyed her company like I do now, but it's different now she's older, she's a little lady now. But violet is such a pleasure to be with! Always smiling and laughing. Even the nursery room lady says she has never looked after a more placid baby than violet and they all love her!
But even after all that, I wish I could just have a little lie in!

KLou111 · 20/04/2012 10:51

Aww that's lovely Liz so glad you're enjoying her and she's eating so well. What a good girl :)
I think they are all growing far too quick though, where have our babies gone :(
Know what you mean about a lie in, jeez Euan still waking twice as he's moving, and he didn't go to bed til 8 last night
due to the viewing but still up at 7.30!!
Went really well, lady brought her 2 kids, her hubby got called into work til 10.30 so they are coming back with him next week, fingers tightly crossed!!

Well, looks like Euan is going to have a PINK room soon. OFFER ACCEPTED!!!!! I haven't put it on fb though as don't want to jinx it. Sooooo excited to be going home :o
