Oh do the MK one!! I'll come and say Hi :)

Throat still sore today but not terribly so. Still not looking forward to the snowy school run but then I'm not keen on getting cold at the best of times.

Managed a huge 2.6lb loss doing WeightWatchers this week though which I'm very pleased about. I've lost 9.2lbs in the past 6 weeks! I'll be all svelt yet still decidedly wobbly damn stretched out tummy if we ever get a meet up sorted out :)

Ha, yes, the other parents might not be overly impressed with an hour and a half drive :)

Would he go ice skating? (is the rink even still there?) to the cinema?, maybe something on at the Theatre?, good old laser quest?

Hi everyone!

Love the new name whispers!

I am definitely gaining the lbs. I now weigh a stone more than just before christmas, I know some of it is my body not realising I am no longer pregnant, and some of it is because I am struggling to get to grips with managing my insulin (which is fluctuating massively due to hormones I think) and also just the comfort eating because since all this stuff has happened I am feeling a bit sorry for myself some nights! I lost over 3 stone on ww a few years back and I had got back to within 3 lbs of my lowest weight just before christmas. I have just joined MyFitnessPal online which is free and I am finding brilliant on my iphone - it scans barcodes on the foods I am eating and knows how many calories are in them which I love! I think as I pull myself together a bit it will really work for me as I like a gadget...

Lee, how about an Easter party? Mostly chocolate based...

I'd love to take Alex skating! I learnt to skate in Doncaster where they have a two level rink (there are ramps to go up and down between levels) and would spend Friday nights and all day Sunday there every single week as a teenager.

My boots fell to pieces the last time I went about 5 years ago :(

There is a rink in MK but it's nothing special and a bit run down which is probably why I've not been that bothered about going.

I was in Loughborough from 96 'til about 2000 but never went

Thanks hercule I an feeling fairly ok about it all. Rang the EPU and they advised that they wouldn't know whether or not they could do the ERPC until I get there tomorrow as is all dependent on what beds are available. Hope I won't have to wait too long as obv the end of the week is better for me with not being at work and a few days of recovery, plus would mean less waiting about....
Hope you are all ok in this cold weather! Xxx

That looks great Grin will need to wait until I can leave Rosa with grandparents though, don't think it would be safe to take her in a sling on the ice Grin

Hi all, well scan confirmed what we suspected, so its back to the drawing board for us. Feel remarkably ok about it. Had a little cry once we'd seen the sonographer, but other than that, think I have sort of come to terms with it... Got ERPC booked tomorrow, but all depends on whether the hosp has any beds as apparently they are super busy with the snow. If not, will be next week, so just have to wait and see.... Just want to get sorted now so we can move on. Smile

Oh Ethel so sorry it is shit. I know what you mean about feeling OK, I feel like that most of the time, then every so often get all teary. I've now known for two weeks and am just waiting still, not sure how much longer I can just wait for before opting for the ERPC. Have another scan on Thursday next week to see what is happening...
