My dh says it too woodlands. I think its one of those words where the original meaning has become a bit forgotten. Mumsnet is a nightmare for getting caught out with unpc words, things like moron for instance which I thought was perfectly ok, apparently isn't.
vik I wouldn't worry about using it occassionally if you need to. I think medinol has less in it than most so maybe get that if you're worried. Haven't managed to get to an independant pharmacist yet to ask them about an ever better version. dylth would prob be able to tell us tho thinking about it!
Re meals - I wouldn't worry about cooking for D specifically, just learn some basic dishes you can all eat. Jamie's Ministry of food cookbook is a great book for simple but lovely recipes.
As pelvic-challenged mlic said - a basic tomato sauce (can give you a v simple recipe) which you can make into chili, bolognese, pasta bake or whatever is a great start.
Good to hear from you tsc. Was starting to worry. Have the docs mentioned him going dairy-free? I think I remember you saying dd1 had to when she was small. My friend and her toddler dd are both dairy-free now with no asthma symptoms whereas previously my friend had steriods etc.
Very pleased to hear about dh's hair success tho :)
memphis - poor L. Sounds like he's a brave'un though, bless him.
kk all ok there despite missing post?
stac that woman sounds like a headcase. Think I'd complain about her but I'm a stroppy ol mare like that. Hope R is better soon.
Sorry anyone I've forgotten - on bb so not easy to scroll.
