ILovePonyo · 18/08/2011 20:22

Haha well done wiggles! Tesco can bloody afford £40 vouchers in my opinion. Can you hand them in at the desk so they get doubled to £80?! Wink
Agree about Cameron Diaz, she's not quite right, something a bit spooky about top A listers. Does anyone else think its odd how the very rich and famous get pregnant when older and have twins, a boy and a girl? Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, erm there's probably more Grin I also think Vicky Beckham has paid to be pg with a baby girl (ooh controversial).

ledkr · 18/08/2011 20:24

I aggree ponyo defo odd

ILovePonyo · 18/08/2011 20:25

Grin ledkr well worth the wait, I chuckled at your drunkest friend asking how much she owed Grin

What is croup btw? Good luck tonight.

Emski76 · 18/08/2011 20:30

Hilarious story Ledkr, love it! Once on my birthday I was so wrecked that I thought I was in a certain club until one of my friends told me we were somewhere else, completely shocked me! I had drank several shots at that point!
Ponyo, def agree that Victoria Beckham paid for a girl, without a doubt. I noticed the other day that there haven't been any photos of her in the papers etc, she's obviously hiding out while she lives on veggies and exercises 10 hours a day......or maybe she's just enjoying her baby....hmmmmm.

Ledkr, hope D is better ASAP, how miserable for you all.

Debka, hope you enjoy your evening out.

Everyone have a good evening and quiet nights! Night all

janedoe25 · 18/08/2011 20:41

ledkr Grin about your drunken story
hope dilly is ok, croup is horrible. I hope you both manage some rest. Have you had her in a steamy room?

wiggles £40 well done you, thats a few bottles of wine then! Do you think it was a passive/agressive email, or am i reading too much into it?

ponyo sorry you had a rough time before Anya. I so agree about the creepy A- listers.

I have a confession to make, i am a closet twilight fan, read all the books several times and watch the films on average once a month.[bush]

debka · 18/08/2011 20:49

Bloody hellfire they CANCELLED the film and put some stupid jumped up teenage nonsense on instead. At home and pissed off. Grrrrr Angry

americanexpat · 18/08/2011 20:51

irishqueen - welcome back. Sorry about the PND and house stress (not to mention the wanker ex). I'm up for a coffee next week, any afternoon is fine for me.

ledkr - love the taxi story!

Borg - if it makes you feel any better, the sleeping through was completely out of the blue. He had been up 2-3 times, then only once the night before. I have no idea why he decided to sleep through.

L slept through again last night and I had 7 continuous hours of sleep for the first time since Feb. I'm fairly certain I heard angels singing when I woke this morning.

NeedToSleepZZZ · 18/08/2011 20:56

Dammit wiggles I need proof about Mr Leto as OH and I have just been arguing about it Wink All I can find is that he joked he was gay in 2006 but then admitted it was a joke. However, I agree with you about Diaz, looking at pics of her in trashy magazines, she does look quite manly with all her muscles Envy Please dish the gossip!

Hi Irish here, have a well deserved Wine. I hope the ads start to kick in, they can take a while btu fingers crossed for you.

Deb Have a fab time at the cinema, hope you manage to stay awake for the whole film Grin

Just got rid of a migraine in the last few hours and eyes are still sore from my screen but had to say hi to everyone [martyr emoticon], feel a bit elated that it's gone as been crying from the pain.

My wedding dress arrived earlier and just been to look at it as was delivered to my dm's house. So beautiful, doesn't quite fit yet but fingers crossed it will by May! jane you're hen night sounds fab Grin, sorry to hear about AF but love the thought of your baby finding you.

Right, this won't do, must get off to bed, night to everyone and sorry if I've missed anyone out.

NeedToSleepZZZ · 18/08/2011 21:01

GGrrr, x posted with just about everyone then....

Sorry deb, what did they put on instead?

ledkr brilliant story Grin

Yep, VB paid for a girl agree with all of you there.

Now to bed

ILovePonyo · 18/08/2011 21:02

deb thats so crap, what film was it you were meant to see? I'd complain if I were you (a la wiggles) and see if you can get some free tickets?

jane thank you re: mcs. I'm glad I am not alone in thinking A listers are generally creepy! Imagine all the dodgy stuff that goes on that we have no idea about Shock scientology etc. Don't be ashamed you are a secret Twilight fan - to each their own!

emski you are so right about VB excercising away, I'd hate to have pressure on me to be thin, it must be horrible being slated any time you put on weight. Although i am a fan of the Daily Mail celebs section online Blush which is where they usually get slagged off.

american Grin at angels singing, hope you get the same again tonight (and tomorrow, etc)

God you can tell theres not much on television tonight, I've been sat mn-ing for ages. Am off to do something productive... back later Wink

debka · 18/08/2011 21:04

BTW 40weeks (I think) I am actually rereading that book RIGHT NOW!!

ledkr har har poor bloke!! Grin good luck tonight with poor Dills :(

Film was Harry Potter, was really looking forward to it.

needto OOOOOO re wedding dress! :)

wigglesrock · 18/08/2011 21:06

debka that's shite, I'd have been tempted to head to the pub Grin

jane I don't know, I reread the e-mail a few times but it reads ok, tbh I don't really give a shite, they can't fire me, they're slightly afraid of me and it suits until I decide to have a nosy for anything else. As long as I get enough money to cover what the girls I need, and I don't need to pay for childcare its good enough for me Grin

ledkr pmsl at are we there Grin Hope D is ok x

ponyo I can double them up but the double up offers are terrible this time. But the lovely man told me that they would be doing "double up" again in November or just after Christmas so I'm going to hold on to them until them - I buy a lot of girls clothes/toys from Tescos so with any luck I'll either get some Christmas (yes I said the C word Grin) presents in or get stuff in the sale.

Re celebs : does anyone else think its funny that Jessica Alba called her new baby Haven Grin Every time I hear it, I think of family Ledkr on holiday Grin

OP posts:
debka · 18/08/2011 21:07

They put on The Inbetweeners, don't know WTF that is but there were a lot of dolled up teenagers teenagering around.

wigglesrock · 18/08/2011 21:11

ponyo I too am a Daily Mail celeb section reader, only on t'internet though, wouldn't pay for that rag Grin

NeedToSleep vvvvv excited re your dress arriving.

OP posts:
janedoe25 · 18/08/2011 21:19

Oh thats shit debka im in the same line of thinking as wiggles i would have went to the pub! Im going to see the inbetweeners tomorrow night, it's a film of the chanel 4 tv show, very funny!

reastie · 18/08/2011 21:27

I hadn't actually considered vb paying for a girl - can you do that in america then?

ledkr Grin to the drunk story - that poor man - bet he still has nightamres about it - 3 people in the front seat - the mind boggles as to how you'd even manage that.

I love the idea of your baby finding you. Someone said something along those lines to me when I had a mc I found it really comforting.

Just watching celeb big bro - how on earth is a man from big gypsy wedding a celeb? Hmm

needto hope the head sorts itself out and you are ok - glad the dress is fab i knew it would be

deb boo for you.

I remember that everyone said ricky martins 'wife' was all for show - did he ever officially come out? I love how I'm getting all my celeb gossip info from mn Grin

wiggles spend it all on chocolate Grin

who was asking about swim suits? I got on last week in the debenhams sale reduced to £2.25 Grin

the clingy monkey alice now decided she is a boob monster and has fed 8 times since 5pm Shock . She will also only sleep in bed with me right next to an exposed boob Hmm . I just tried sitting up, she didn't like it.

reastie · 18/08/2011 21:30

xposted deb I don't watch the inbetweeners but everyone I know on facebook seems to love it Hmm

ledkr · 18/08/2011 21:39

dh loves the inbetweeners, its childish crap but im not all that keen on comedy anyhow.
needto i had a migraine the other day,i was watching tv and mn in my sunglasses Grin
deb sorry about the pics how disapointing.
I am also watching bb but bit crap so far,im missing torchwood for this too and the killing which im fast getting fed up with anyway.
Dilly is asleep in her pram at the mo thats the best we could manage.

ILovePonyo · 18/08/2011 21:39

reastie I saw a prog called 8 boys and wanting a girl on more4 not long ago, it has really stuck with me. There was one woman with 4 sons and she had a v rich husband so he paid (tens of thousands I think) for her to go to America and get inseminated with girls - she had twin daughters. There was another woman with 3 or 4 boys, she got pg again and had her scan, it was another boy and she was sobbing as it was her last chance to try for a girl. I couldn't believe how selfish they were and how rubbish their boys would feel if they saw the prog, plus think about people who can't have children and would just love a child. ANYWAY - they won't do that treatment here only in America. I could rant about that prog more but won't now Blush

Good luck for tonight with A. I am watching BB too (oh the shame Grin)

reastie · 18/08/2011 21:46

Shock to the prog ponyo. did i imagine it or did wiggles say in her hosp they didn't give away gender as traditionally people wanted buys? i could have made that up

ledkr torchwood not good - it has the barrowman in.

off to bedingtons soon Wink

reastie · 18/08/2011 21:46

wanted boys not buys Blush

wigglesrock · 18/08/2011 21:49

ledkr Mr W thinks its hilarious that my whole family says "we don't like comedy" Grin, he is watching Seinfeld for the 10000000th time [eyes rolling smiley needed]. I didn't enjoy the Killing as much last week and there's still 6/7 more episodes. I usually tape it and watch it when Anna I can't sleep.

reastie Yes Ricky Martin came out, he has the most gorgeous twin boys. How do I know so much crap Shock Ah yes E-online Grin

ILovePonyo I watched bits of that too, I could rant for a very long time on how many times Mr W has been asked about not having a boy/ trying for a boy etc Angry

OP posts:
wigglesrock · 18/08/2011 21:51

reastie keep x posting Grin - my hospital wouldn't tell you the gender because they enjoyed the power trip Grin They were arsey about it, but they never gave a definitive reason.

OP posts:
ILovePonyo · 18/08/2011 21:57

I think some hospitals won't tell the gender b'cos some Asian women are under pressure to produce a son - my friend lives in Luton and they don't tell you the gender there. Though obv they couldn't just not tell the Asian women Grin so it applies to everyone.

wigs I did wonder if MrW gets asked about no boys, how irritating. I'm pretty sure I'd have another girl (if I ever have another) so dp would get the same. However that waaay in the future Grin

Who is that young lad just gone in BB house? Confused

ledkr · 18/08/2011 22:00

I have just been giggling about baby Alice only being quiet if led next to a boob, its like me with my glass of vino Grin

I can tolerate big barrowman if its in torchwood and i close one eye and scratch my teeth often.

I saw that programme too,i thought the twin girl woman said some vile things like "feeling like a childless person" I thought she was a cu next tuesday. I had it all with my b 3 boys,"are you disapointed?" idiots.
I was very pleased tho to have Ella especially as i didnt know what i was having and presumed a boy.

Its been kicking off all day on mn,even on the light hearted big bro thread, whats wrong with everyone?
