Good to see you, Invis. How IS work, anyway? Is this new (ok, not so new now) job panning out?
Aspo, that's rough about the pox. And you Urbs! Sorry about Pulp. Festivals...I can't be fagged, though Latitude does sound good. DP's idea of a festival is Glyndebourne
and mine is Edinburgh....
You ladies getting into a froth about Nadal
I can't really think of anyone I fancy at the moment...it's such a shame. There must be someone...must wrack brains. Hence daytime shags aren't really an issue for me at right now. Probably reaching a bit of a crisis point but a baby next to the bed prob doesn't help.
Oh yeah, we were talking about shopping bills a few weeks ago and I said we spent about £100 a week. Well, we spent £220 the other day. Not even a lavish shop. But I worked out over £60 was nappies, baby food, wipes, formula etc
Trudy, I ff both mine through choice so am fully expecting them to grow up unhealthy and thick. Oh, that man sounded totally horrid, by the way. Ugh.
Wine snobbery - my take on it is this. I like el posho wines and champagnes and enjoy trying them. I also enjoy cheap ones (and enjoy trying them). I do find people who insist (and I do know a couple) who think that only French wine is worth bothering with. Same as people who think that France and Italy are the only proper places to go on hols. They give me the bloody vapours.
Beans, it's a shame your friends can't just make the beautiful food and not wang on about it. I don't mind people wanging on about stuff per se, because I find enthusiasm for anything so interesting and appealing. But not if it's in a self-aggrandising way.
Vag, I love Morrissey. Is your DH a fan?
Having lovely time at Mum's.
