Seriously, he got him nothing, sometimes wanker is not a strong enough word, hows the wine and Galaxy? Grin

chocoroo · 27/05/2011 21:22

ledkr Tres jealous of your night out. I have a hen do next Saturday - must remember to book the Sunday morning "off" too!

And yy to the random daddy outfits....R has had some bizarre playsuit and tights combos when DP has been in charge.

Delia I like the sound of dunking at swimming. R yelled at me for a whole twenty minute car journey earlier. I feel dunking is the least she deserves :)

Off to my Mum's for the first time tomorrow - she lives in Sheffield. Obv she has been down loads but we haven't been up yet. Will catch up with family and all my rubbish old friends who haven't bothered to come and visit us yet! Bit concerned as mum has a daft Labrador...not sure how R will take to it!

Had a bottle of wine with DP...anyone else feel there is not quite enough in a bottle?!

reastie · 27/05/2011 21:24

Only just got back on due to alice being v high maintenance today and screamy. Am so hoping she settles well after I try an dream feed her soon. We are using calpol like it's going out of fashion at reastie towers Confused

I'm sorry but I'm Grin at these dhs choice of babywear. DH here knows better than to choose an outfit for alice, but, should he have the choice I fear he too would make such ridiculous choices.

ledkr Shock to your xdh - I can see why he's an x Hmm

bryon keep meaning to ask you re: greek mat pay - you say you don't get any as govt ran out of money Hmm Shock

argh, gtg - alice screaming....AGAIN....blooming 'eck

reastie hope Alice settles and you get a bit of a rest, meant to say thanks for the Tesco tip.

NeedToSleepZZZ gorgeous photos, could just eat Ben up.

chocoroo have a lovely time tomorrow, we have a dog, neither Anna nor the dog take any notice of each other. We had the dog before any of the girls were born and I had a real panic about how she would react, never bothered her at all, mind you she's not the brightest mutt, and she always disappears when the girls dressing up outfits appear, I think she's very afraid of Olivia mind you we all are Grin

chocoroo · 27/05/2011 21:32

wiggles LOL at you all being scared of Olivia. I suspect R is gearing up to have a similar effect on us. Maybe the dog will be more scared of her than she is of it!

chocoroo · 27/05/2011 21:33

Oh, and Reastie, poor Alice. Could you try playing some white noise to her? I really can't recommend it enough.

ledkr · 27/05/2011 21:37

Poor Alice she is really suffering,id get a an opinion tomorrow tho if no better mine never bat n eyelid from jabs im lucky.
choco remind me who you used to be.my senile mind cant remember. I have never got the whole sharing a bottle of wine thing. When shopping today i bought some lush vino and asked dh if he wanted some beer or cider,he said no and then expects to share my wine. P's me orf too cos i am only drinking at weekends so wanted to make the most of it. Mind you as she didnt drink her last bottle D will probably fancy brekkie about 4am so cant drink much.Might go to bed now with tea and laptop,im feeling argumentative tonight so ill be on the threads sharing my wisdom.

chocoroo · 27/05/2011 22:18

ledkr I used to be ElleB but fancied a change. Elle was a bit too much like an actual name!

Off to bed now, been keeping my eye on the first photos of Take That's tour, I am SO excited about seeing them next month!

Tarlia · 27/05/2011 22:38

You lot verbal shits Grin (cant spell th D word!) I can't keep up - let's see what I remember with my sleep deprived mind..

Jane I've been thinking of you, so hard, you are so strong. Good luck ttc, we will all be waving those pom pons for you. Any news on the dresses?

restie poor little Alice, hope she is feeling better soon and let's you rest! How's the bouncer?

wiggles men can be numpties with outfit choices Grin. OH has started to learn after me getting upset that I basically had to tell him when he could scratch his bum. His favourite saying is "I forgot!" Arrgg. How did it go with all 3 at the class? Hehe Is Olivia stompy? She sounds like a right lil character.

Wonder how ponyo is getting on at her function and debs at the show/hotel.

Damn, ledkr, I'd kill for wine and Galaxy. Can't even buy Galaxy here. As youve all probably heard, Marmite has been banned here too!?! Could take 6 months to get it tested and back!?

choco have fun with your friends and family! Is it a long drive from you?

Can I say arrrrrgggggggg!? My OH is driving me insane! I really do wonder if he has some kind of PND or PTSD but he won't go speak to his Dr. :( He has been told today in no uncertain terms that if he continues I'll be leaving. He came back yesterday after being away since 6am Monday, Z and I have been poorly and I could do with a rest/help. But playing with a new piece of work crap gear is more important than spending any time with Z - Poor Zwent to bed without spending any time with him last night :(. I wouldn't mind, he wasn't even at work today and won't be until Monday, so why his son wasn't most important I'll never know.
Then when it comes to his mum, arrrrggg, that woman drives me mad. Apparently when he is on the phone to her he is not allowed to do anythin and has to be sat still...wtf. We have a jobs at home to do and a baby!! She wants to babysit, over my dead body, right now the way she is/has been. She couldn't sit and watch tv/read without poking or picking Z up, she is always trying to wake him even when we are here!

And breath!

wigglesrock · 27/05/2011 22:57

tarlia maybe all our OHs need a good kick up the bum, I'm very lucky with my in-laws but Mr Ws mother-in-law on the other hand drives me insane Grin

Olivia's a gorgeous child, really funny and kind and sweet but Christ she's stubborn, not bad tempered but she would cut off her nose to spite her face, can't think where she gets it from Blush. Sofia's a bit of a people pleaser, likes to be the fastest, cleverest, best at... which is quite strange considering both me and Mr W are not competitive at all but Olivia seriously couldn't give a shite what other people think of her, even when she's being at her most frustrating I have a grudging respect for her iron will Grin which will be a recipe for disaster when she's 14 of course!!!

Anyway off to bed, hope you and oh have a better day tomorrow.

ledkr don't be causing any rucks on aibu Grin

hubbard86 · 27/05/2011 23:22

wiggles i will have a couple dozen drinks and maybe a few at least 10 social ciggies for you. I'm so relieved i'm not the only one with a child dh i thought i was being strange and over reacting. Freya is now going 7-7 with a dreamfeed at midnight and will normally go back down till 8.30, she seems to have 2 2.5hr naps and 1 1.5hr nap during the day and i kind of think this is too much but i'm really unsure as my ds never slept during the day other than the odd 20mins here and there. How long are your babies naps in the day?

wigglesrock · 28/05/2011 07:00

hubbard many thanks, you are a true friend Grin Anna doesn't go as long as Freya at night as you can see!!! She would mave maybe a 2hr, 1.5hr and 30 min nap, asleep for evening at 7.30pm-8.00pm and up for around 6ish with one, sometimes 2 quick feeds inbetween. Sometimes she doesn't really nap in the day at all but it doesn't make her night sleep any longer.

jane blowing a big kiss up to Zoe this morning and you can have one too, and maybe a hug. Hope today is gentle for you xx

reastie · 28/05/2011 08:21

morning all, not too bad last night (phew!). Alice seems OK this morning so seriously hoping the hours of screaming have now stopped (especially as she's going to meet her great grandad for the first time later today).

Just put a couple of piccies up - one of alice being swamped by her bouncer which is too big for her yet (but you can see what it's like if you're interested) and the other is alice with her beloved sophie (Wink to ledkr )

tarlia I share the MIL annoyance - mine too is desperate to babysit alice ( get time alone with her ) but is exactly the same as yours Hmm .

Hope those who went out had a great time.

choc I tried lying her next to the washing machine on spin but nothing Confused

Morning ladies! Now I remember why I could never keep up with this thread! Lets see what can remember.....

Jane I am thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way. Well done for staying strong when packing Zoe's things up, cant think how hard that must have been.

Reastie Cant wait to see pics of Alice in the bouncer, bet its hilarious!

Tarlia You are deffo not the only one with an annoying DH. Mine comes in from work at 6pm then disappears to the toilet for a 30 minute shit, then goes in the shower and faffs around ansd by the time he is done Harry is all ready for bed!!! So annoying!!!!!!!

chocoroo have fun in Sheffield today!

Can I just ask how well all your babies are sleeping? I am beginning to feel that everyones is sleeping thru the night but mine!!! on a good night H goes to bed at 7.30, feeds at 3am ish and then 5.30 then up at 7.30. So still 2 nights feeds most nights. I am pretty tired now! Also do you have your babies on a feeding schedule? I think part of the problem is that H usually feeds at about 5pm so he is not very hungry before bed and doesnt take much. What do you all think?

Have a lovely weekend everyone. I am out on the booze tonight! yipee

irishqueen · 28/05/2011 08:48

morning ladies,

reastie glad alice is better. Maeve has round 2 of being spiked next week. She was grand after first lot and avoided the generic free paracetamol Calpol. Fingers crossed
jane going to go to schoenstatt on mon (kids love a run about) so i will light a candle for Zoe
ledkr and others bloody OH's. When I have a baby I am still me not just help and yes although I am ebf that does not mean i also do all nappies etc and you do the fun stuff for 5 mins
I had a smashin time yesterday sort of - I won the mn Duran Duran comp and prize was Simon le bon a cd and a goodie bag from dior! Well the lady from comp mailed me and told me to just choose 100 quid of dior makeup and let her know! So i did. Snotty bitch lovely counter lady was fairly helpful ( i told her i wasnt buying as i had won a prize and just to bump me if any real customers came) but it might have been nice for her to try some makeup on me rather than playing guess the shade. Anyhoo soon i will have a new foundation, lippie, blusher and scamara as my son calls it.
My oldest too are in Edin with Granda till tomorrow so i have no idea what to do ith myself.
I may go ito town and take things back ( my fav occupation). I still have 9 pounds of baby fat to shift and my bloody baps vary in size due to feeding Maeve the rave. I keep buying the wrong sizes. plus i am proper skint and im sure Primarni sizes are up the yin yang

ah feckerama the shred is here I have officially joined the cult

if anyone is updating the stats Maeve weighed in at 7 pound 2 at birth

Emski76 · 28/05/2011 08:59

Wow, you guys talk a lot!
Jane, thinking of you all the time. How brave to pack some of Zoe's things away, cannot imagine how hard it must be. Thinking of you lots today.
Suzy, Noah is nowhere near sleeping through. He's had an awful cold for a while and had only improved a little the last two nights, waking once for a feed. He seems to be able to settle himself at night now so I think that's helping. I think most babies dont go though the night without a feed until their at least six months. We have found that Noah needs an earlier afternoon feed or won't take much at bedtime.
Hope everyone is well. Hope Alice is better now Reastie

ledkr · 28/05/2011 08:59

suzym tank em up is my motto but then if he doesnt want it what can you do? He sounds like hes doing ok tho,i always think that as long as they know its night then stick with it cos you are halfway there, can you tweak the feeds a bit so he has more later?
D has one long nap 2-3 hrs in the morning and 2 short ones in afternoon.
She slept till 7 today even tho she didnt drink her last bot.I have ditched the bag in favour of those fleecy sleep suits cos she has slept better since dh forgot her bag which could be a coincidence but she is cold blooded like me and those bags leave her arms cold.
Tarlia and all,i wonder if it is a type of pnd.My dh is always very dozy but is sooo much worse now,we had "a talk" or two yesterday but im sure it will do no good,he put d to bed last night still wearing a bib- Shock is it me?I worry about the safety issues tbh El nearly got run over on the way home from school cos he just wanders on,and yesterday we had to get D'd prescription from local chemist and she was hungry but couldnt have a feed untill she had the meds so he WALKED to the chemist grrrrrr would have taken 2 mins in the car.
Dont get me started on pils-reastie i will reply today-fortunately mine dont seem that interested in the baby they are happier pissing me off and trying to get as much out of us as poss. They are "camping" nearby next weekend so i forbid you all to go away from the pc for long cos i may need a moan Grin I wonder how much they will engineer coming here,we are ice skating on Friday and d will be in bed by 8 so im hoping we can go to them on the Saturday but im sure they will arrive with empty bellies
Thank god its half term.

ledkr · 28/05/2011 09:08

emski i was awake at 5am thinking "where the feck has bensmum gone?" I REMEMBER NOW Grin He sounds better tho,i aggree its not the norm for babies to go all night without a feed D is very good but when she wakes she doesnt go back done ever so my day starts anytime from 5am Shock

irishWas the sales woman orange? They are vile arent they? I always think "you think you are superior with your caked on slap but actually i am superior to you cos i am in my 40's and can go without hehehe.

Reastie glad A is feeling better.

irishqueen · 28/05/2011 09:12

ledkr i have to say I am slightly excited to hear your pils are about> i actually get my cheap thrills reading about them. As penance for my sick enjoyment I will stay on pc all next weekend
suzie Maeve doesnt go down until 9p.m dont ask me why but she pretty much cluster feeds till then and thats what seems to get her through the night. i know I should put her down earlier but i am scared she will then decide 5a.m is acceptable to get up. im too laid back with this baby and as it dp's first he just goes with the flow.
i am unwrapping the shred grrrr

ledkr · 28/05/2011 09:16

you will love it-not-i shall be partaking around 10 when i have drunk my tea and finished my marmite crumpets.

Dont apologise about the unhealthy pil interest.my friends are the same, they wait with baited breath the saddos.

D is in the playroom in her vibro chair having a ballet lesson from Ella.

wigglesrock · 28/05/2011 09:31

suzym that sounds like Anna sleeping pattern, although we usually get up at 5.30/6am if she wakes, she'll sometimes doze downstairs and I can get on with bits and pieces ie drinking tea and just listening to the sound of nothing before the others get up Grin

ledkr Mr W puts A down with a bib on, its one of my pet hates, he's done it with each of them and he never learns remembers.

irishqueen enjoy taking stuff back!! I'm heading to the cash machine now and I'm frightened to look Blush Seriously how crap am I - almost 37 and afraid of a machine!! My bank hates me because I have so little money and I think they encourage the machine to keep its "insufficient funds" message up op on the screen a little longer than usual to make me feel extra shite Grin

reastie class pictures, Alice looks so much bigger, glad last night wasn't too bad.

suzym1984 · 28/05/2011 10:19

Thanks ledkr I also agree with tanking them up before bed, so its infuriating when he only drinks 2oz at bedtime! Would anyone mind posting their feeding routines for their LOs? just a rough outline of when and how much? I am trying to move onto bottle feeding H but have no idea where to start/ what Im doing!

Grrrrr at Dhs putting babies down with bibs on!!! My DH told me last night that he never uses the bottle brush to clean the bottles, WHY NOT?? He is just so lazy sometimes!

wiggles does Anna sleep thru until 5.30 or is there a feed before then?

ledkr · 28/05/2011 10:41

Ledkr story alert-re taking stuff back. Me and my mate Rach, used to borrow lovely clothes to go out and then take them back the next day Shock we were poor students. One day i had adress to return to a partucularly posh shop and i asked Rach to do it. Whilst she was mid plea "i bought this and the party was cancelled" I realised it was asize 14 and she is about a 6-8 Grin I just couldnt stop laughing and had to leave the shop.
Just going to feed Dand ill post her feed schedule, not that there is one .

irishqueen · 28/05/2011 10:51

ledkr love it lol! And yes the lady was tangoed and had really shit eyeliner!
Suzy I'm ebf but feedwise she eats at 7.30 ,9?? then naps, approx 11 2 5 and snacks away from 7 onwards which I allow as she sleeps from 9 to half 7 hurrah! Sounds like loads of tit but she is super efficient and is done and burped in about ten mins!
