Eek it's going so fast!

Well my night out has been cancelled so it's not an urgent rush round the shops but we are going to have z look for some summery clothes anyway.

Grin Oh HJ it's been horrid, you know what if it hadn't of been for the expressing issues, I think it would have been hard but managable. But, this has put it into a whole new level of bleugh .

Also to cap it all off, my swing pump is rubbish. It feels like I've got a small angry train attached to me. I actually got more out with my manual pump.

HarrietJones · 15/07/2011 21:20

Have you gone back f/t? Is it shifts or 9-5ish?

SilverSky · 15/07/2011 21:42

mock I'm in your neck of the woods as you know so if you do decide not to head home one weekend please yell if you want company!

Trib I'm dreading going back for the same reasons!!

LMFAO · 16/07/2011 12:51

This is NoHun, trying a new name!

I couldn't get a cleaner - I'd be one of those people who'd clean before the cleaner got here so they wouldn't see how dirty it gets! :)
Our decluttering continues, and I do feel better for it. Still a squash and a squeeze, but we're making progress.

Hope those going back to work are managing ok.

SilverSky · 16/07/2011 14:44

Fab new name!

Another food q! What can I serve with rice? Suggestions?

LMFAO · 16/07/2011 15:11

:) It's my favourite band right now! :)

Tofu? Stir-fried veg? Curry? Do a risotto? Paella?

SilverSky · 16/07/2011 15:57

Good suggestions but I'm a simpleton cook! What can I make a sauce out of? I have tinned toms, cannelini beans, sweetcorn, Tom purée, mixed beans, tuna!

LMFAO · 16/07/2011 16:18

All of that - just chuck it in a pan! :)

HarrietJones · 16/07/2011 16:42

We are having roast veg for tea.

Like the new name but I still think of everyone on their old ones Blush

OP posts:
LMFAO · 16/07/2011 16:50

:) I think of people with their old ones too.
I'll probably go back to NoHun... : this one is a bit too sweary for me!

SilverSky · 16/07/2011 17:52

Who was the camper again? We have plans to camp in a friends field on Friday. Wish us luck with the weather!

OP posts:
SeaShellsMyDogSmells · 16/07/2011 19:25

I am! I hope this weather sorts itself out, we have a lovely evening but have had a rotten day up until now. Have fun!!

HarrietJones · 16/07/2011 19:42

Same here. Can I just ask about where dd should sleep? We have a double airbed for us but how safe it it to co sleep in an air bed? Although if dh has a drink she will have to sleep in the cot anyway. Unless we take 2? What about sleeping bags? Grow bag + warm top?

OP posts:
TribbleWithoutACause · 16/07/2011 19:49

hj my friends have done sleeping bag, hat, cardy and blanket with socks and gloves. This may have been a bit overkill but who knows.

SeaShellsMyDogSmells · 16/07/2011 19:53

I should try to get her to sleep in a cot if possible, and then co sleep if she is unsettled as the airbeds and duvets etc aren't ideal.
If you have a sheepskin use that under her sheet in the cot.
I use her normal sleeping bag plus thermal top and bottoms, plus a jumper and hat, possibly trousers. It's difficult as if it's hot weather it's warm when you go to bed, but freezing at 3/4am so have blankets are a good idea.
There are lots of threads in the camping section as it a common question :) oh and take a highchair and all in one waterproof suit so LO can sit or crawl and eat sticks and mud Grin

HarrietJones · 16/07/2011 19:54

Blankets good idea!

OP posts:
SilverSky · 16/07/2011 20:40

Togz are excellent for all in one wet suits!

HarrietJones · 16/07/2011 20:50

The one we've got is too big yet. Dd is on the short size
