giddy you poor thing what an awful day you have had .
i get like that when it comes to my children though, if it was me on my own then i would of just cursed but when i have my kids with me i flip out even if its the littlest thing(not that almost running you over was a little thing -bloody idiot !) i get so protective.

thanks for being understanding i feel so stupid but at least i have been seen and all is well ,. i hate being a woman sometimes all the problems we have that always seem so personal and they can only be resolved by going intimate with a stranger.

dd3 is getting very frustrated just recent , due to her not being able to get things she wants or not being able to get to places she wants.
no teeth
hardly sleeping in day and waking once at night .
weather absolutly horrid !!!
snowing forecasted there ???? it is here midlands
all for now im off to start on dinner and dp just got in so go to go
love me xx

troublesmummy · 24/11/2005 17:04

Thanks all.

Giddy - Would be interested in finding out how you have managed to keep it under control. I've just been to the docs again, who told me it really isn't very bad and just to keep using diprobase. Very helpful. Ds also has a flat head on one side, and she fobbed me off on that one as well. Said it'll get better over the next few years. Thanks for the help there love!

Sorry you had such a bad shopping experience. I get so angry with people like that, so i totally understand how you must of felt.

Hope all you other lovely mummies are ok.

Weather forecast is pretty naff here too, but i'm also in the midlands! Ho hum

evening all
quick catch up while waiting for dinner.

giddy woman that was awful, people like that deserve all tyres blown and windscreen pooped , ok thats my anti social streak over and done with.
hope you feeling better.

eym- lovely pictures she looks gorgeous and very happy

troubles- hang in there, its never easy and its made worst when we are tired, but you dont have to be perfect, whatever that is, to bee good mother.

mumma- glad things ok

red - sorry dd increased your sleep troubles. my only punny suggestion is that toddlers like rituals, like putting all (imaginary) nasties in a locked box safe until daylight.
hope it gets better you really need a break

things ok here, just getting along, dd has been very mellow today, she seemed fascinated by the weather when it got really nasty.

hope you have a good night all

sfxmum · 24/11/2005 20:19

oops sorry red just read your thread carefully

redheadmum · 24/11/2005 20:26

TM - yr not a bad mommy....the fact that you are worrying etc means yr a good one!

poor mite I didn't realise exema (sorry can't spell) was in the equation, of COURSE that means they'll be a bit all over the place. I used to see parents with kids with ezema all the time at work and it was awful for them. (I'm no expert on the medical condition btw) My only tips are to try something alternative like homeopathy etc but as old timers will know I'm a right old hippy

just got the two of them down, both in our bedroom...but a good thing is ds (baby) is in the crib and went off by sucking his thumb. Wierdly he was crying and v noisy but Dd just snored through it. Still not attempting to crack spiders yet, Dh has just landed so help is on hand! Have been v cranky (no surprises with my week) so hope to start sorting this soon.,....the thread is v helpful if anyone else has the same dilemma.

x posting again

so what are you doing then Katz?

killiemum · 24/11/2005 21:24

Hiya,

You lot have been busy today. Hope you are all having a chilled evening or as much as poss.

muma - I am soooo happy it all worked out well, must have been all that positive energy from the MNers. I sound like a hippy now but heh whatever works. Don't you dare feel silly every one of us has went through times like that, hindsight is a wonderful thing. I'm think woman really do get the rough end of the stick, first all the physical stuff, then our hormones turn us into gibbering wrecks at least once a week instead of once a month.

troubles - sorry your ds is unsettled just now I had a similar prob up until about a month ago my dd just didn't stay happy for long unless she was being held (she sleeps well a night too maybe its a payback thing). I think her prob was bad wind because I tried her on these new bottles to reduce collic and wind (tommee tippee anti collic - they have a mad straw thing in the middle)and since then she has been a lot more settled. Don't know much about ezcema I'm afraid but I do think Kamilosan is worth a go. Also we know you are a brilliant mum even if you don't.

KVG - thanks for the welcome.

giddy - what an arse, bloody bmw drivers (I apologise if anyone drives one but I have a thing about them since one wrote off my car while I was sitting at the lights). I think you should have that drink tonight.

Hugs & Kisses to all us brill mums xx

killiemum · 24/11/2005 21:29

oh and troubles, babies (in my vast experience) have only one predictible trate (sp?) - thats being totally unpredictable. My dd will drink all her bottles dry for 3/4 days then leave a couple of ounces of each for the next two days. I think they just take what they need, mine's def knows what she is doing better than me.

killiemum · 24/11/2005 21:51

Sorry red, just read your thread, I really feel for you.
I just had a thought, if DH is home now could you try letting him take care of DS for I while in the evening and you could spend some 'quality time' with DD when you put her to bed for a couple of nights. Thats assuming it is just a jealousy thing though but it could be worth a go.

Hope you get some sleep tonight xx

eastyorksmum · 25/11/2005 01:01
