AlpinePony · 13/03/2011 13:38

silv Have you been doing The Sechs?

Cosmosis · 13/03/2011 15:45

No droids here, thank fuck.

Cosmosis · 13/03/2011 17:53

Ah Alpie, I know the thread you are alluding to I think.

Okiecokie · 13/03/2011 19:55

Pls to link to the bag o' lies fred. No droid here, although last time it was 12 weeks.

Cosmosis · 13/03/2011 20:26

I think is the 23 week thread in discussions of the day.

AlpinePony · 14/03/2011 06:39

Correct. I hid the conversation because I knew it would annoy me and I'd end up saying something I'd regret - and off-topic. It just really pisses me off when I hear such gubbins. There really was a thread on "Living Overseas" last year about a woman who was scared to move to NL because she'd "heard" they euthanase SN children. WTF? How do you even get such bullshit in to your brain? Oh, by people like that FFS. I heard that in Scotland they force feed children Greggs and deep-fried Mars bars until they burst. :( It's true, because my MIL is fat and I went to Edinburgh in 1983.

Anyway , how did the FESH spa meet go?

I had a moment of brilliance yesterday whilst driving and realised we really missed a trick whilst naming the FESH creche. We simply should've gone with CRESH - Child-Rearing Evil Selfish Hags. That my friends is an example of pregnancy brain, 8 fucking months it's taken me to come up with that! Grin Wink

I've got Bear with me now but he'll soon be on his way to Schipol. :( I'm going to miss him terribly, at the same time I get 4 nights luxurious sleep and I an have a bath without someone (anyone) crying. It's going to be weird though with jb gone, the living room won't be cluttered with dirty dishes. Angry

Is anyone doing anything exciting this week? I'm all about the horse, the gym, healthy eating, picking up Bear's new car seat, watching what I want to watch on TV. Might go and get my hair cut, have a drink in the evening knowing I won't be woken at 2am by a greeter.

CurlyCasper · 14/03/2011 07:31

spa day was bloody lovely! And pollypoo and fanny were wonderful company. i think we could all have happily checked in and stayed there.. But somehow I'm in more pain today, which is a bit gutting. Knew i shouldn't have done those two token lengths of the pool.

Liking the cresh alps

Backinthebox · 14/03/2011 08:31

I am doing battle this week. Then going skiing to recover.

FannyPriceless · 14/03/2011 09:38

CRESH is totally inspired alps.Smile

The RL spa day was great, just not long enough to enjoy all the yakking (and pampering and eating) with lovely curls and polly. So sorry you are in pain today curls. It was probably the two hour workout in the gym that did it, don't you think?Wink

box sorry for your bad day. That is really weird about racehorse. I once sold a horse to a 'friend' who had been my sharer, and the behaviour change from before to after the transaction was nothing short of astonishing.

Clyde is currently dozing / sobbing / wheezing on my chest. The poor lad's chesty mucous problems just won't go away so I have a doc's appt this afternoon.

Cosmosis · 14/03/2011 09:48

Artie currently also has a wheezy chest and lovely cough, but seems totally happy with it so will leave it and see waht happens. Sorry the lovely Clyde is poorly fans.

He's back to waking every hour after midnight as well

PollyPoo · 14/03/2011 10:22

Morning all. Spa day was bloody lovely, great company and sooo relaxing. So sorry you are in pain today though curls, not good. So when can we do it all again? And can we stay over next time? Grin

Sorry to hear about all the sickly children. BB also has a chesty cough. She is currently asleep next to me and sounds like Darth Vadar.

Am very Envy of your 4 nights alone pone. I know you will miss Bear badly but just imagine.... all that time to yourself. Utter bliss.

Can't believe BB will be 10 wks old on Weds. Are we very cruel to be considering putting her in her own room at the weekend? I am fed up of TG sleeping in BB's room - I want my husband back. But if he moves back into our room it is inevitable that he will want the secks. I'd quite happily not bother. That is bad isn't it? Suppose I'd better start thinking about contraception. Deep joy.

PollyPoo · 14/03/2011 10:24

FFS... shurgs?! SHRUGS!

PollyPoo · 14/03/2011 10:42

Meant to say Box sorry about your shitter of a day. MJ + weird. Hunt = nuts. Planning = fuckers. I hope you get good news soon and the new hunt is a more adult and less bitchy affair!

Cosmosis · 14/03/2011 10:43

oh arse, think washer broken, doesn't seem to be emptying of water Angry

PollyPoo · 14/03/2011 10:53

Oh no, that is not good cos. Sad I think ours is on its way out, I cross my fingers every time I turn the damn thing on as we can't afford to replace atm.

AlpinePony · 14/03/2011 10:55

cossie Could it just be that filter is blocked? Unscrew filter, scream as room fills with water half an inch deep. Re-screw and let it continue the cycle.

PollyPoo · 14/03/2011 10:57

They have filters?

Cosmosis · 14/03/2011 11:18

luckily is in garage so not end of world if it floods a bit, I will check filter alps

AlpinePony · 14/03/2011 11:46

polly They do. And they're usually filled with the shite that TG will not have removed from his pockets. Hmm

SilverSky · 14/03/2011 17:52

MB is current contraception as he's still in with us. I fear the night he goes in his own room as I will be pounced on. We haz nor had The Sechs yet. . I genuinely am too knackered and my mojo seems to have gone in holiday. Let's hope it's got a return ticket or HI will be filing for divorce.

I think MB is telling me he is ready to wean. Last couple of days, he's had an extra feed, this morning awake at 530. Bit grouchy too. Will see how he is next couple if days and then it could be all systems go.

SilverSky · 14/03/2011 17:53
Cosmosis · 14/03/2011 18:27

well have managed to empty machine and hopefully cleared it - running it on empty noe to see what happens. Artie poorly, throwing up all over me so really need machine to work! waiting for call back from nhs direct re ooh doc as they want to see him as he's only throwing up bile now and not interested in feeding.

Cosmosis · 14/03/2011 18:28

he's asleep on my knee in case you think I'm callously ignoring him and mnetting instead Grin

AlpinePony · 14/03/2011 19:17

The poor little muffin. :( I hope you get to see someone tonight.

Bear slept during take-off and there hasn't been a tear from him in nearly 48 hours. He's exhausted tonight though having seen so much.

Muser · 14/03/2011 20:36

Poor thing Cos, hope he's better soon.

Bob will be taking her first flight next week. I decided as my dad is currently recovering from an op and csn't come to us, that we would go to him. So we are flying up to the Highlands for 2 nights, just the 2 of us. It may all go horribly wrong, but I'm going for it.
