mmm, kk i love wagamamas too. our nearest is cambridge which is abut 30 mins away so we often go shopping there and have lunch at wagamamas.
stac unless he had good reason then i'd say your dh was pretty awful not telling you about his hours. hope you sort things out soon.
just had our inaugural Pizza Night: me, my sister, my cousin and a friend. We vote on toppings beforehand and then each bring wine, pud or toppings and I do the dough, sauce and cook it. Bloody excellent night, they've only just left, all moaning about diets
Our dream has 'always' been to buy next door and join the houses back together (part of theirs and part of ours was one v big house a couple of hundred year ago) but we couldn't afford to do that now esp as i'm not working full-time. So, if we bought it now, we'd have to sell ours (which we love) and move next door
There's cons - not least the fact it is bound to cost a fortune despite the fact it needs renovation, but it would be a 'forever' house, it has the potential to be amazing, has loads of space and even has an old brick-built stable block at the end of the garden which could be converted in something - e.g. to run a business from or let out.
i don't know if i'm willing to give up our current house tho...
chulita it's in an expensive town (partly because it's on an express route to London and partly because we have some of the best private and state schools in the country) and in a 'prestigious street' in twatty estate agent terms plus it's a period property which apparently haven't been affected so much by the 'crash'. Problem is, all that applies to our neighbour's house too!
