4mad it was me who said about taking baby somewhere quiet - all my advice is sadly tailored for those of us who inhabit PFBville. I've no idea how anyone copes with more than one child - might have to wait until Will's left home before I consider having number 2 Grin

My baby may not sleep but at least I can boast that I'm now back in my size 8 skinny jeans Grin TBH I've had no appetite since I gave birth so I think my body just used all the fat I accumulated while pg for milk production. Now I'm back at my original weight I'm starving all the time again, so might not be in the skinny jeans for long if I'm not careful Smile

Mibby, just saw your fb photos of Annabel sitting on her little dragon, very cute and I'm most impressed that she's got such good control, Lottie's 17 weeks old now and nowhere near as strong!

4madboys · 15/02/2011 12:12

ooh i need to go and peruse photos on fb, but i also need to get showered and dressed, dp took boys to school and ds4 and dd and i have had a lazy morning!

i am Grin as i have just booked train tickets to go to london this weekend, dd and i are meeting with a friend and going to the babyshow!! woo hoo Grin a girly day out!

hmmSleep · 15/02/2011 13:00

Ha, think I have about 2500 photos on fb, 80 albums Blush, so could take a while to peruse Grin. In my defence I've lost all my photos before when my laptop died, so I now back up at home and post my favourites to fb as an extra back up!

Trip to London sounds fab 4madboys, and nice for you to spend time just you and dd.

I'm also back to my normal weight, unfortunately everything is rather saggy, baggy and stretchmark covered though, and a definite muffin top going on! I'm tempted to by a baby jogger pushchair and start running in the mornings when Dd1 and ds are at school and pre-school, but when I mentioned this to dh he rolled his eyes in a 'that'll be a waste of money' kind of way, Hmm.

Babybean1 · 15/02/2011 14:57

Hey everyone, haven't posted for ages but trying to keep up best I can :)

I love looking at pics so please feel free to add on FB, so I can see your gorgeous little bundles, and show you my little madam without trying to add it on here! :) I'm Rachel Tadman, pic is of Evie under play gym.

Evies sleeping pretty well. Does a minimum of 6 hours, then wakes for about a 10mim feed and staging back in her cot for another few hours. She's went 8 hours last night buy is suffering from a cold (again....damn winter!!) so not sure if that made her extra sleepy

Been doing the Davina 30 minute work outs which are pretty good, although don't seem to get much chance! Evie woke up when i was in the middle of one the other day and thought my jumping around was most amusing, so looks like a good form of entertainment too!

Right, off to prepare a yummy roast for dinner before I fall asleep :)

Babybean1 · 15/02/2011 14:58

Straight.....not staging back in cot!

Mibby · 15/02/2011 15:53

Thank you :) Another ebay bargain :)

4madboys · 15/02/2011 16:47

just been perusing fb pics, soo many cute babies.

and i am another one impressed by mibbys dd on the dragon!! so very cute, but Shock how grown up does she look!!

hmmsleep, re jogging pushchairs, i have a nipper out n about pushchair i bought and you can run with that as long as you lock the front wheel, and they arent too expensive new and loads of them on ebay!

its REALLY light and a breeze to push etc, i cant wait to have ds4 walking, so i can have dd in that as its soo easy to push, currenlty using the phil and teds, great but mega heavy with the two of them in it or the bugaboo with buggy board on for ds4, which is easier to push but a bit of a pain when i go across a field on the school run.

btw i have a variety of pushchairs Blush and my dp has given up on telling me not to buy them or slings!

hmmSleep · 15/02/2011 20:33

"You might be feeling like your old self again now. Maybe you've lost the baby weight, your skin's glowing and you're getting a good night's sleep." a quote from my bounty weekly email, is it wrong that I want to reply 'fuck off'?

I'll check out the nipper out n about, thank 4madboys.

Fenouille · 15/02/2011 21:26

Hi, thanks for your stories of non napping babies - I was beginning to think I was the only one. I think Norry is simply too interested in what's going on and as we're currently on holiday he's meeting lots of new people so just wants to be social Grin

I've put in a couple of friend requests on fb but my phone doesn't let me add a message so if you get a request from someone with blue sky and red balloons as their pic that's me!

I've just bought some dumbbells to use with my wii as well as active fit 2, so between that, active fit 1 and the wii fit games I'm planning a blitz when we get home. So much flab :( I'm back at work on the 7th March though so that should help with cutting down on the snacking. And if I can work out the logistics with dropping Norry at the cm I'll start cycling to work again. When are you all finding time to exercise? I was thinking first thing in the morning as I have to wait til 8.30 to drop off Norry but I have a feeling I might be being a little optimistic!

Can't wait to see your wedding photos Boris they always make me cry. Are your DDs going to be flower girls? They must be so excited.

Mibby · 15/02/2011 22:39

hmmSleep oddly that was my first thought when I read the latest offering from Bounty :)

Babybean1 · 15/02/2011 22:42

Ive had a FB request from a Tom Davis, but have no idea who he is! Seemed a bit random seeing as I'd just said about people adding me earlier & just wanted to check it wasn't any of you guys using a DP/DH's profile by mistake or something?

Lainey1981 · 16/02/2011 07:53

Aaaah have missed so much. Will mark my place and read properly later.
In the meantime shluld anyone wish to add me on fb my name is elaine atkins oic is of finn with hooded cardy on.

bunnygirl80 · 16/02/2011 08:56

fen I have a friend who used to go out jogging after her DD's 4:30am feed Shock

hmm clearly the person that wrote that bounty email has either never had a baby or is completely deluded

hmmSleep · 16/02/2011 09:55

Admittedly having read further down the bounty email it does then go on to give advice to those not feeling quite as described earlier. Two of the tips are to wear brightly coloured eye shadow and an animal print scarf Hmm.

Lainey1981 · 16/02/2011 09:57

BorisTheBold · 16/02/2011 10:01

Hi all,

Just to say I've sent across FB friends to everyone (i think).

Am off out in a bit so will catch up properly later (assuming my children co-operate!).

Fenouille · 16/02/2011 11:07

hmm that's the best laugh I've had in ages Grin

I forgot to say yesterday not only thanks for sharing non-napping baby stories but of course the top tip from bunny. We were sort of trying that any way but we'll persevere a little more now.

I've added a bunch of you (I hope) to fb. I hadn't added any pictures of Norry (durrrr) but I'll put on a couple now. I need to work out who you all are though Blush

Ebb · 16/02/2011 11:23

Hmm that's really funny. Can you imagine how awful you'd look when really tired with bright eye shadow and an animal print scarf?! Hmm Grin And I use 'you' in the general sense rather than you iyswim. Grin

Abbie is growing fast. I have no idea how much she weighs as I haven't had her weighed for weeks. Blush She's nicely covered with gorgeous rolls on her thighs so I think she's doing ok. Wink She still doesn't sleep through the night but is settled in bed by 7.15pm so at least I've got my evenings back. I tend to give her a top up of boob when I go to bed but normally she's too sleepy to take much so might stop that. Unfortunately at the moment she keeps trying to suck her thumb at night but hasn't worked out how to curl her fingers in queue lots of noisy slurping then angry screams when she accidently pokes herself in the face which then wakes her up. Hmm A quick feed normally gets her back to sleep but not a very good habbit to get in to.

I'm still overweight and not helped by Dp constantly restocking the chocolate drawer! I'm currently working my way through a box of Thorntons he got me for valentines day then I must start being good. I do do my Wii fit if I find time and I just bought Dance 2 as I thought my DS would find that amusing. I have no rythym or co-ordination so that should be fun!

I can't believe how fast the time is going and am starting to stress about finding a job once my MA runs out. Finding a job that pays enough to pay for 2 lots of childcare is going to be tough. Otherwise I'll have to work weekends and evenings. I do envy these people who have family willing to look after their children.

Anyway better go. A very ominous sounding explosion has come from the small child...... Grin

Rinnyx · 16/02/2011 11:28

Hiya does anyone here go by the name of Rachel Labelle, I got a FB friends add but no message saying if they are a MNer and we have no mutual friends Confused
Think I need to do a friends list of just my MN friends on FB or I will be confused.com!

I managed to ger 7 hours sleep last night, woo hoo tho it wasnt til gone 12am he dropped off and I had to give his abit of milk but think it did the trick, the sleep was much needed as I hds my first driving lesson yesterday since Oct, took so much out of me

Babybean1 · 16/02/2011 19:03

Sorry for all the people on FB that already know.....but very excited as Evie just rolled over! Woo Hoo! Didn't even cry with shock when she got onto her tummy which I felt sure she would as she's not a great lover of tummy time! Awe my little girly is growing up so fast it's scary!! :)

Lainey1981 · 16/02/2011 19:10

babybean how exciting. How many weeks is Evie now?

umf · 16/02/2011 20:45

Never any time to write, but loving the photos and pmsl at Bounty and their animal prints!

Btw, who's the other person in Cambridge? I'm really sorry, I've forgotten and wondered how you're doing.

fen my DS1 never slept much during the day. Not at all from 18 months. It made for a very demanding baby, but things got easier as soon as he could crawl and he turned into the sweetest, sociable toddler. Not that I'm pfb or anything.

Babybean1 · 16/02/2011 21:57

Hey lainey Evie is 15 weeks (& 1 day!)
Didn't really show any sign until last couple days when she's rolled onto her side a couple times, so expect the unexpected I say :) She's been pretty strong with her head since she was born really and will stand on her legs (iykwim) and tries to sit up! Gonna have my hands full I think lol! :)
Very Cute pics on FB too :) Finn is gorgeous!

hmmSleep · 16/02/2011 22:23

Just watched your video babybean, soooo cute, putting Lottie to shame, she's over 17 wks now and not rolling yet, although she'll never lay by herself anywhere long enough to do much really!

Lottie has started getting very easily distracted whilst feeding, if she's in a good mood she keeps stopping to have a little smile and chatter which is quite cute if a little time consuming. However if she's feeling grumpy she pulls off and screams at me if I so much as try to talk to anyone or show any sign of not giving her my full attention. Both make it very awkward to feed her out of the house.

She has her 3rd lot of jabs tomorrow, absolutely dreading it as she's been terrible the previous times, thankfully that'll be it until 12 months then!

I really want to go to bed now, but can see her moving about on the baby monitor so daren't in case she wakes up when I go in!
