everybody has probably stoped looking here now but...

Name Noah
Birth dat: 11 August
Time: 00:26
Weight 9lbs 3
Where: Home birth transferred to Ealing hospital
Experience:
Went into labour 8th Aug (due date) transferred to hospital on the 10th of August not progressing. Waters broke naturally at hosp but stained with meconium so the drip was increased to further speed contractions, no pain relief only tens, after 5 hrs on drip only 1cm further, tried gas and air made me out of it, gave in and had epidural after a bit they cranked up the drip then fully dilated in 1 hr, baby facing around the wrong way so manualy turned by doc, babys shoulders stuck so my legs put up in air, forceps and large episiotmy (still infected).

Em32 · 06/11/2005 19:28

MummyToToby · 19/03/2006 23:20

hi i searched for russells hall and it came up with this thread-
to kate100 - i am having my baby at russells hall can you tell me if they have TENs machines please.

kate100 · 22/03/2006 18:14

I don't think so, I rented my own from Boots at Merry Hill both times, the staff there were gret and very knowledgeable about how it all worked, hopethat helps

MummyToToby · 22/03/2006 22:52

hi can you also tell me if they have anything like bean bags in the rooms?

kate100 · 25/03/2006 13:28

No bean bags, I had a ball to sit on which was great, but I took the attitude that if I wanted it I took it myself, so I had my own in the car too!! I'd also take your own food if you're going to be there any longer than 8 hours YUK!! Oh and there's no TV or radio as there was at Wordsley, so you need to take that too, becaause if you have a long labour or you're admitted before the birth you'll be very bored.
