nymphadora · 07/01/2011 22:46

Lol-iPhone seashells?

SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 08/01/2011 02:27

I still forget that you have to choose what you have typed not the autocorrect option iykwim. I love this phone but that really annoys me!

We have a storm outside-it sounds like someone is spray a pressure washer at the window!

HermyaLovesLysander · 08/01/2011 08:40

DS has been running his underground sleep fighting club, he went to bed unscathed and mitted up. He's woken up this morning with mitts tossed on the bed and face scratched to bits. I asked him who won, he just grinned at me. HmmGrin

SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 08/01/2011 10:54
Grin
Elsa123 · 08/01/2011 12:50

Grin Hermya. I think DD is a paid up member to that club too!

nymphadora · 08/01/2011 14:13

Hermya- matalan has sleepsuits with mittens on them. Just turn over the sleeves. We have some we use as pjs. They are much better than mittens

SilverSky · 08/01/2011 14:19

Ds is also a self harmer but during the day. He can't do it an night cos his miracle blanket has him imprisoned super snuggly with his arms inside!

I too am a victim of the iPhone predictive and auto correct text. Makes look more illiterate than I already am.

nymphadora · 08/01/2011 14:59

Ouch fuckity ouch. Think I've got a blocked duct. Am shivering though that could be my cold but have got pain & if I poke enough.

HermyaLovesLysander · 08/01/2011 15:33

Nymph We've got the sleepsuits with mittens on them, but DS has long arms and if we try to put the mittens over his hands they come up too short for him length wise. I should really break out the next set of sleep suits, but I just don't want to admit he's in them yet. Ouch about the blocked duct, have you taken some ibuprofen?

nymphadora · 08/01/2011 16:03

Me too on the next size.

Y to tablets. Hate taking stuff when I'm feeding. Feel v rough now. Everything hurts. Knackered, can hardly move. Everything touching me hurts. Trying to get energy to go to toilet. Fed up now. Don't think I've been well since 2009

tiredfeet · 08/01/2011 16:44

hermya ds is the same. We use socks as scratch mittens once his arms to big for sleepsuits, before we move up a size. I find socks stay on a bit better, although the do make him look like he has four feet Grin

nymphadora · 08/01/2011 17:42

Feeling a bit better now. Warmed up & had food.

HermyaLovesLysander · 08/01/2011 19:34

I'm sorry if this is TMI, but has anybodies periods returned yet? If so when you got them, did you get super bad PMT at all?

I've had really bad headaches and generally felt grotty the past few days. I've also had some spotting as well so I'm wondering if my body is betraying me and getting geared up to getting periods back. I even got that horrid achey feeling in my back as well last night as well. I really hope it isn't though.

Nymph I'm glad you're feeling better.

Elsa123 · 08/01/2011 19:47

No not yet Hermya, not looking forward to it!

Glad you're feeling better Nymph. Perhaps some alternative therapies like reflexology may help you with the COLD THAT NEVER EEEENNNDDSSS.....Grin.

Just about to have steak au poivre...yum.

nymphadora · 08/01/2011 20:08

Not yet hermya although after ttc threads & pregnancy & birth I'm not sure you can do TMI Grin

elsa have been taking herbal stuff for a while but am a bit dubious of going to anyone & giving them the cold!

Elsa123 · 08/01/2011 22:35

Nymph I think you've had the same thing thats been going round my family too. It seems to resurge. DH keeps getting it back and he normally only ever has a cold when a blue moon appears.

nymphadora · 09/01/2011 07:44

This is the first time dh has been illsince we've been together. Dd1/2 don't get I'll much either though dd2 did have suspected swine flu last year. Dr says dd3 should be pretty tough after this & it's just one of the problems of having a winter baby. I'm not convinced by the winter baby thing as the other two were too.

Fed 4 times last night. Think we are disturbing her with coughing. Think longest I got was an hour with all yhe coughing & feeding. Though she could be catching up while she feelsbetter as she fee all day yest too

Elsa123 · 09/01/2011 17:24

Nymph I hope you've all had a chance for some rest! My HV told me she moved her DS out of their room earlier than planned as they kept disturbing him not the other way round!

DD is currently lying in her play gym thing cooing at stuff. The cooing is converting to the frustated grunt/cry which is the one guaranteed to go right through me and wake me up with a start in the middle of the night. I don't know why its that particular cry that jolts me...Hmm.

SilverSky · 09/01/2011 18:23

N I keep getting a dull ache aka pre period pains. Hope it's not!!

nymphadora · 09/01/2011 19:12

I know what you mean about a certain cry. Most are ok but others make me scoop her up & hold her.

Not had any rest other than the usual sitting around I do. Picked big dds up from their Dads and been out for my mams bday this afternoon.

TimeForABrew · 10/01/2011 00:44

Hi there, I lost the thread! Found it after remaining braincells eventually suggested I search for my own postings.

seashells that bugs me too, I tried to type "fabby" and it turned it I to "flabby" lol.

Hermya I have some sleep suits with turn over mitts on the sleeves, mother care ones & also some 2nd hand ones that are roomier but don't know where they are from - so that was useful Wink.

nymph, hope you're feeling better?

Re. Periods, mine haven't started yet either but I feel achey from time to time so am partially expecting The Return

nymphadora · 10/01/2011 07:42

Hi tiredfeet!

Not a lot of remaining brain cells here. Either a growth spurt or making up for being poorly dd3 has being eating all night. Woke for 3 feeds & had her in bed with me part of the night & woke to find her feeding too. Solid sleep in between but she ate like this yesterday too so I'm starting to feel drained.

nymphadora · 10/01/2011 07:44

Any body else yet to try a bottle? Have a store of milk building up in the freezer buy not tried a bottle as I actually don't want to leave her & won't have an excuse when she will take a bottle

SeaShellsDreamingOfSummer · 10/01/2011 10:27

Hello!

Timeforabrew-glad you found us :)

Nymph-hope you are all feeling better! Dd has been on a bottle since she was 4 weeks-I never got Ds onto one so I was keen to try. I often give it to her in the evening, just means if I want my hair cut etc I can relax... Plus I have hen dos this summer and want to go!!

Dd is doing well, thinking about rolling and doing stomach crutches but not yet! It's flying by though...trying to think about holidays this year with a toddler and a LO who could e crawling - insane!
