Hi books, you could say excited although I would use the word 'delirious' this week
. What is 'conkers' it sounds fun. We went to Thomasland last sunday and I thought of you as we drove past your environs, do you go often?
Moose- I sympathise with the labelling, I have just ironed all DD's school malarky and labelled with laundry pen as the bloody labels not here yet. What a bloody mission it is too!
Hope you feel better or AF arrives or something soon to put your mind at rest.
HKZ- I ordered mine from 'Stuck on you' I think they are called, as they had a good 'value' pack of shoe labels, stick-ons and iron-ons. Still, I wouldn't use if I were you, so bloody late, I have to ring them tomorrow!
Forgot to say good luck for the MRI.
Tea- sending lots of positive thoughts your way, hoping it all works out for your DB, DSIL and the new little poppet. My sister's best friend had her first DD at 32 weeks and she thrived straight away, no developmental issues really aexcept some slight speech therapy, but that can happen with term babies as you know. My friend who recently had her DS at term but he was very small (about 4lbs) has been lucky too with health issues. He didn't/ doesn't sleep well and in the early weeks he was cold/shivery quite often due to lack of fat but he is fine now and catching up steadily on the weight charts. Bless you all x
Tree- Gah at the roof and I have FB'd you about our Upsy-daisy
Congrats to your DH on his exams. I went in last week for results day and my pupils had done so well I could have cried (apart from 2 disappointing characters who I could happily have knocked their heads together but I guess now or very soon hopefully they will realise what a waste of time and space they are).
C'mon Dog...what are you playing at!
Stripey, sorry about the funeral and C's cold. Z has a corker at the moment, topped off with some explosive poo today (all in public, v.embarrassing but hey, what can you do!). Think its a cold/virus combined with cutting his last four molars poor chap.
so the festival of the tree was quite fun, there were traditional crafts , children's rides, face-painting and punch and Judy show which were great. DD did some house and den building in the woods and DS enjoyed climbing into tractors and wood-cutting machines. The tree sculptures were fantastic and some of the demonstrations were cool. However there were some weird and boring displays on wood sawing, cutting and tools that was a little strange, I guess whatever floats your boat!
Thanks for the kind comments about mum, she is coming up on friday to stay for the weekend so she must be feeling much better to brave the storm of our house!
