I know this is probably going to piss LibDem supporters off but it did come across rather as though the only reasons for the current government are 'but what about the meekats' and 'strong stable government taht the electorate deserves but unfortunately failed to vote for'. As pointed out, a coalition that brings together views as wide as those of Norman Tebbit and Shirley Williams, does look a little .

Maybe the young whipper-snappers of both sides will be able to find their common centrist ground however. If they do, they could be a political force to be reckoned with. Labour really needs to choose the right leader.
