Hope this is ok, I was getting withdrawal symptoms!

Thanks policy. Think I may just numb my head instead, I think.

Oh god. Feel awful. I was prepared, but I still feel miserable/angry/upset/furious with NC.

Groan. Again.

leavingonajetplane · 11/05/2010 19:47

Dont blame Gordon for (planning to)resign as MP. Can see how he's had enough of that malarkey unfortunately.

And bloody Nick Robinson can't stop gloating. Boak.

Sorry, am reduced to ranting now.

Jacaqueen · 11/05/2010 19:47

Thanks wubblybubbly your description of DC has cheered me up.

MarionCole · 11/05/2010 19:47

Just found the speech on the BBC. He's bloody marvellous. If I try to talk I'll burst into tears.

DH is rather disappointed by the car that Alastair Darling has just been picked up in. A Ford Mondeo. He reckons they should have at least a Mercedes S Class.

Beachcomber · 11/05/2010 19:48

Agree excellent decision for Labour to choose their moment.

hungysavingexpertdotcom · 11/05/2010 19:48

Agree with -w- -s-. Really scuppered them PR- wise. Long-term, I'm fairly fearful if the hoped-for short reign before another election doesn't materialise.

Nymphadora · 11/05/2010 19:49

Quite enjoying C4 news, makes a change after seeing the same faces since Thursday. Lol at some of John Prescotts comments

SpringHeeledJack · 11/05/2010 19:50

shite. The most principled public servant of a PM that there's been since I was old enough to take any notice- stuffed by the press and idiot public

this fucking country

rrrrrrrr

...mind you is anyone else finding it seems a bit normal to be officially In Opposition again??

(excuse- I am veeeeeeery old)

DavidHameron · 11/05/2010 19:50

Or is this just wishful thinking on my part? I do really really hope that a deal hadn't actually been signed and now they all fall out.

w s

wubblybubbly · 11/05/2010 19:51

I can't take credit for the cillit bang reference, I borrowed it off another poster from a few weeks ago

It was a great thread, summed up with exceptional Hameron catchphrase of 'BANG and the poor are gone'

Pure genius, but I can't remember the name of the poster.

Right. I am moving in here. I have been on two other threads - one said that GB was an arse for 'using' his kids in a PR opportunity, the other one said 'GB hasb een spiteful in forcing tory/lib hand'

I said 'piss off you miserable old trouts' to both of them. Arsewipes.

Beachcomber · 11/05/2010 19:52

I thought that too Lenin but he then hugged someone just next to Ed - maybe he was concentrating on her.

MarionCole · 11/05/2010 19:53

Absolutely justa, completely agree that this is the best thing that could happen. I just can't bear to watch him go.

No one except hungySE agrees with me?

Beachcomber · 11/05/2010 19:55

Ah yes 'BANG and the poor have gone' was a particular comic highlight in all of this.
