Where had we got to? We'd agreed that we all love Cameron, right?

oooh, I have Obama Twitter envy.

Basically, you follow someone and you see what they write, and the comments that they receive from other.

If you want to write to me you use @mmelindor then everyone who follows me sees your post too.

If you are following lots of random people then it can get a bit weird, as their posts don't connect.

I definitely recommend TweetDeck if you are going to use Twitter, it sorts out the messages into columns, eg. Direct Messages, Mentions, you can put a search term "Mumsnet" in and you get all comments on Twitter made about MN.

G'day centrists

Cathy Newman from C4News twittering: 'rumours we're about to get an announcement from brown on his future... '

I realise I've started this hare running at least twice in the last 48 hours but sooner or later someone will get it right if only by coincidence, eh?

MmeLindt · 10/05/2010 13:51

Nymphadora · 10/05/2010 13:51

Hassled · 10/05/2010 13:56

Right - that's it - I deregged from Twitter but will rejoin as soon as I can think of a name (I know Hassled is taken). And will have to think of some good reason why I don't have to follow DH and his inane football ramblings.

Oh my. Here we go...?

MmeLindt · 10/05/2010 14:01

Nothing on BBC website yet.

Watching BBC News.

They are just saying that the the tories have made progress.

No news on a deal yet.

Sky News being inflationary as usual?

thetoriesaretoast · 10/05/2010 14:02

There's no news so they're making it up.

CatIsSleepy · 10/05/2010 14:02

gah

say a deal had been agreed between the bigwigs, do the LD rank and file still get a say? or do they automatically fall into line?

BecauseIAgreeWithGordon · 10/05/2010 14:03

Can also recommend Tweetdeck as a way to read Twitter, btw

MmeLindt · 10/05/2010 14:04

Sky News doing what they do best, making it up or exaggerating, by the looks of things.

Hassled
You share my DD's first name.

thetoriesaretoast · 10/05/2010 14:04

LD rank and file have to approve any deal before Clegg can go ahead. Triple lock or something
