I have everything crossed for them to win, by however small a margin, and red wine and arsenic ready in case they lose...

I daren't stay up as my nerves can't take it. I just desperately want to wake up to a Conservative government tomorrow morning.

The first one is always the most nerve wracking! DH says Kingswood is a good result as he hails from Bristol and says their councils are usually hung/Labour so for it to be a labour gain is very good!

hung parliament=bad because they find it hard to make decisions so nothing gets done. Which would be particularly problematic at a time when decisive action is needed, like now when we will need unpopular cuts.

I'm going to wait for Basildon and if they get it, then I can go to bed and sleep soundly!.

i dont like her dress either fwiw, but it does look comfy.
