I'm watching C4, streaming BBC and reading the Guardian liveblog. And I have Twitter and MN open. NOTHING is getting past me.

Mandy astonishingly straight.

policywonk · 06/05/2010 22:40

How fucking dare anyone try to decide the election on the basis of what the fucking market wants. AaaaaaAAAAArghhhhh

Johnson offering LibDems AV+. Top Labour bods must have decided this in advance. Fingers crossed...

Northernlurker · 06/05/2010 22:41

My polling station was dead quiet at 6pm.

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 06/05/2010 22:41

Arnold bloody Schwarzenegger

onebatonevote · 06/05/2010 22:41

That wasn't supposed to be a phnar joke btw. But I am a music-hall off-colour joke-generating machine, even when in agony.

Aranea · 06/05/2010 22:42

given that I have small one who wakes too often to count, what time shall I stay up till?

Disenchanted3 · 06/05/2010 22:42

Sorry was just asking if theres any chance labour can pull it back or are we def looking at hung or tory win?

I don't really get the ins and outs of it, but can start mourning now if thats the case!

HamShine · 06/05/2010 22:42

Pol, I'm hopeless - what's AV+?

EweStupidToryVoters · 06/05/2010 22:43

If there genuinely are hundreds of people who haven't been able to vote is there precedent for calling another election?

onebatonevote · 06/05/2010 22:43

do you have a laptop aranea? if so, you could go to bed now, and just check in whenever little one wakes?

Does anyone know why the LibDem Ed Davey is wearing a daffodil?

There were people in my meting today wearing daffs. I'm now wondering if it was a sign.

BecauseIAgreeWithGordon · 06/05/2010 22:43

Way too soon, Disenchanted3! We haven't even had a real result in yet.

alysonpeaches · 06/05/2010 22:43

I cant believe that people have been turned away without voting. Our polling station was extremely quiet. I can only assume that they all turned up at last minute.

I have to go to bed though, as have been to hydrotherapy today and knackered. Goodnight lefties! Hang on in there.

Northernlurker · 06/05/2010 22:44

Disenchanted - nothing is certain - don't go into mourning yet!

alysonpeaches · 06/05/2010 22:44

Theyve got a swingometer!!

ImSoNotTelling · 06/05/2010 22:44

Can't go to bed

need a wee

bloody first result in a min

will greet it lying exhausted on floor in pool of urine

maybe foreboding of life under the tories?

onebatonevote · 06/05/2010 22:44

yes PW. They must have various preplanned responses - one for every 5% down/up, don't you think?

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 06/05/2010 22:44

Pendulum
Were they Welsh?

MissMarjoribanks · 06/05/2010 22:44

Just asked DH to get a takeaway on his way home. Had my tea at 6, but wasn't quite enough . Seriously tempted to raid the drawer for my very old and stale packet of fags. Might have a virtual one instead.

jenny60 · 06/05/2010 22:44

sooooooo exciting. Don't like Mandy either, but he was great as NI Secretary. Mond you, tonight I like ALL the Labour MPs and voters.
