I'vve created a new thread for those hiding behind the sofa here

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 06/05/2010 23:01

Low turnout. Perhaps many did not bother because it was seen as a safe seat. So the radical and independent candidates get votes cause their voters are keen.

RedRedApples · 06/05/2010 23:02

ladyblabla The imposting sian lloyd was very nice though and could teach her gurniing collegues some valuable lessons in restraint I feel

thetoriesaretoast · 06/05/2010 23:02

DH says exit polls have been very accurate for the last few elections. Please not this one

Matsikula · 06/05/2010 23:02

Just want to wish you all a not too traumatic night. I can't take it. Going to feed the baby, go to bed, and pretend it's not all happening (also just been avoiding the news and watching Mad Men for a masterclass in 'pretending it's not happening' courtesy of Betty Draper).

Where is Miliband? Writing his next challenging article to The Guardian?!

scoutliam · 06/05/2010 23:03

WTF with the BNP? How is it possible that they are getting these votes?

FacePalm · 06/05/2010 23:03

New candidate and a boundary change though in Sunderland, so bound to affect it a bit.

wubblybubbly · 06/05/2010 23:04

What impact would the boundary change have on the vote?

LenniralElection · 06/05/2010 23:04

WillSelf created new thread above

expatinscotland · 06/05/2010 23:04

onebatonevote · 06/05/2010 23:04

Just had inside steer from (I think) well-informed contact that news is in reality better for both LDs and Lab.

Might all be bollocks but thought I'd share..

duckyfuzz · 06/05/2010 23:04

NEW THREAD

monkeysmama · 06/05/2010 23:07

That BNP vote wasn't massive or that significant. Combined with UKIP not great but they want far more than 1000 odd votes. Barking & Dagenham is the seat they've focussed on. Nick Griffin is standing there. He doesn't seem to expect to win but they are hopeful they'll take control of the council . Due to hear around 4 I think.

auberginesrus · 06/05/2010 23:07

Think I remember reading Justine was going to be on ITV
