100x - yes, with polls the swing gets applied in exactly the same way to each notional seat - so doesn't take account of constituency tactical voting

electra · 06/05/2010 22:12

I am very very worried. I think if the tories get in it will be only just. So loads of people in the UK do not believe in them even though Gordon Brown (poor man) has been (undeservedly imo) unpopular since he became PM.

So.....we will be stuck with them for at least 5 years and I have today read an article about what they have done in Hammersmith and Fulham which, according to DC is the model for a future conservative government. Truly depressing reading.

scoutliam · 06/05/2010 22:13

I am now smoking for the first time in two years.

I am going to smoke alot.

I am going to get of my arse and in some way become an active member of the Lab party as soon as I get back to the UK.

InNeedOfAGoodName · 06/05/2010 22:13

Loving the Sunderland student ballot box chain...

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 06/05/2010 22:13

LOL at them running with the ballot boxed.

Calm down boys.

ImSoNotTelling · 06/05/2010 22:13

ROFL @ youths legging it about the place with boxes.

Ludicrous

PinkFuschia · 06/05/2010 22:13

Let's all take a deep breath, hunker down, and wait and see once the REAL actual votes are counted.

PfftThePinkoLeftyDragon · 06/05/2010 22:13

I love seeing all the Sunderlanders rushign to get the results in

taffetatactical · 06/05/2010 22:14

I always think Gove should be wearing glasses. He looks wrong without them. And about 13 and a half.

tvaerialmagpiebin · 06/05/2010 22:14

on the BBC election webpage DC is looking scarily like Ken Clarke. Not a flattering photo.

theyoungvisiter · 06/05/2010 22:15

Sam Coates from the Times reckons that if that poll correct, Lab-Lib electoral reform coalition still a go-er

Paul Mason from off of NEwsnight saying lots of people behind the scenes conceding that the LibDem result can't be right

expatinscotland · 06/05/2010 22:15

lol YV. You can't sleep - this is going to keep changing, I think the LD's will pick up numbers.

This is the General Election which just keeps giving.

PfftThePinkoLeftyDragon · 06/05/2010 22:16

who is hoping for random hurricane in Witney

onebatonevote · 06/05/2010 22:17

Marr: Tories say it's enough to govern. And there is scepticism about the exit poll.

ahundredtimes · 06/05/2010 22:17

But PW on those numbers they don't have a majority, do they? Unless LD numbers pick up

ahundredtimes · 06/05/2010 22:17

Right.

So.

Basically. We still don't know anything.
