I postal voted Labour.

My Dad, stepmum and 2 half sisters have voted Labour. My Mum will have voted Conservative.

animula · 06/05/2010 21:44

monkeysmama - 1992 was, indeed, bad. We were in Brixton. All started well. The early evening was broken by cheers resounding from the neighbouring buildings as seats came in that were not-Con seats.

And then it all became grimmer, and grimmer.

EweStupidToryVoters · 06/05/2010 21:44

I had a nightmare last night about David Cameron, he is so creepy. I think he is a robot. Programmed by Thatcher.

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 06/05/2010 21:44

Loving Outnumbered. Ben is FAB

Hassled · 06/05/2010 21:44

Grim Michael White blog.

I can't stand it.

Habbibu · 06/05/2010 21:45

I saw one cons poster - we are hardcore LibDem here, so nae chance. On teh leaflet where he was sitting next to Waxy Dave, he looked like he'd wet himself with excitement

LenniralElection · 06/05/2010 21:45

Thanks for Times link.

preggerspollsred · 06/05/2010 21:45

My DH just spoke to his family who are all voting Tory though they can't explain why - scary.

Beachcomber · 06/05/2010 21:46

I love a bit of dour Scot but then I am a dour Scot myself.

duckyfuzz · 06/05/2010 21:46

44% just not possible

please don't let it be so

if sunderland goes we're doomed

Hassled · 06/05/2010 21:47

No, LinkedIn not representative AT ALL. Phew. It's irrelevant.

Rosebud05 · 06/05/2010 21:47

MM, I was just thinking about 1992. Yes, that was bad and it deffo got worse...

LenniralElection · 06/05/2010 21:47

Unfortunately found this piece of Murdoch propoganda on same page, shame it might turn out to be the best we can hope for.

policywonk · 06/05/2010 21:47

I always had a bad feeling about LinkedIn. Does that mean we can forget all about the Nasty Number?

laurie i totally agree. was just telling dh (filthy tory) today how i really had to grit my teeth to vote for blair, but was skipping into polling station this morning for gordon.

expatinscotland · 06/05/2010 21:47

FIL, a former dockman, said he's going to throw a party when Thatcher carks it.

Bet the whole area will be full of fireworks that night, too.

theyoungvisiter · 06/05/2010 21:49

this site was the top result on google for "exit poll"

Not encouraging that they believe the UK election is being held on Thursday 5th May.

See. Proof that exit polls are WRONG.

expat - I'll be flying up to Scotland to join your FIL for that one.

PfftThePinkoLeftyDragon · 06/05/2010 21:50

BIL votes Tory because he doesn't want "people like that" (poor people) near him

FIL votes Tory because he can't really justify voting UKIP and because he loves fox hunting and thinks climate change is bollocks

My friend votes Tory as she would never vote for an ugly politician (I kid you not)

URGH

yay for scotland

LaurieFecktheToriesCake · 06/05/2010 21:50

There's a facebook 'dance on her grave' group when she dies.

I will actually dance in the street or wherever I am when she does.

Beachcomber · 06/05/2010 21:50

I think all my family are dour Scots apart from my dad who is a very nice Englishman (and proud leftie).

theyoungvisiter · 06/05/2010 21:51

Guardian blog says that there was a 45 minute queue at the Stoke Newington polling station.

taffetatactical · 06/05/2010 21:52

pfft so your mate thinks WaxyDave is attractive???
