"350 Lancaster & Fleetwood 15:00"

15:00? They surely can't mean they aren't going to finish counting in my constituency till 3pm tomorrow? What are they doing, going out for a long lunch?

KayHarker · 06/05/2010 21:05

Hello Justa

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 06/05/2010 21:05

We got married in 1997.

MrsChemist · 06/05/2010 21:05

Urgh, sudden and unexpected mention of Murdoch made me a bit sick in my mouth.

WilfSellOut · 06/05/2010 21:05

Carr has a lollipop head. Like an anorexic.

Chaotica · 06/05/2010 21:06

I think I might have persuaded a couple of floating voters at nursery today. I really should have campaigned there with a bit more enthusiasm. [grrr]

yes KH I MEANT to say hello as well but the thread was moving quite quickly and I lost my post-it note.

Hello Kay! It is lovely to see you.

Amazingly, I haven't yet opened the wine. Hoarding instincts kicking in, I think, before the coming (and bitter) Winter of Contempt kicks in.

policywonk · 06/05/2010 21:07

Somebody trip Carr up or something

MissMarjoribanks · 06/05/2010 21:07

Thanks Marion.

4am . Actually, DS feeds around then, so I'll just pop the telly on when I get up.

I'm not particularly interested in ours, as its a safe seat, but will be looking out for Birmingham Hall Green (parents) and Manchester Withington (neighbouring marginal and voted there last time round) which are at 3.30 and 3.

LaurieFecktheToriesCake · 06/05/2010 21:08

mmmm......david mitchell in a suit......yummy

theyoungvisiter · 06/05/2010 21:08

wow Ewe you were ten!!! [feels incredibly old]

I was 18 and it was the first ever election I could vote. Was a lovely introduction to democracy [weeps quietly]

Actually me and DS are having scarily similar experiences regarding the Tories.

Margaret Thatcher was voted in when I was a toddler and my mum's first thought was "Oh well, it's not so bad, we'll have time to vote them out before she goes to school."

How wrong she was. I was able to vote them out myself in my first year at university.

I really, REALLY hope that they get voted out before DS goes to uni [hyperventilates].

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 06/05/2010 21:09

Ok, switched off after the Clegg's hot Spanish "joke"

Wanker

KayHarker · 06/05/2010 21:09

Carr is profoundly smug.

Hi LaBattyOne

MarionCole · 06/05/2010 21:09

Not convinced, flicking back to QI/Outnumbered

Christ this is moving quick.

Yes - C4 a bit weird. Not sure if I like it. Do you think Lauren Laverne's dress was chosen to have a pattern equally composed off all the party colours, so as to be non-partisan?

wubblybubbly · 06/05/2010 21:10

It's that prick Rod Liddle and the libdem ex copper - Brian Paddock?

preggerspollsred · 06/05/2010 21:10

Hello, just checking in. Feeling nervous but excited. In a (very) safe Tory seat so no surprises what the local outcome will be tomorrow.

onebatonevote · 06/05/2010 21:10

I've wankered on about Jimmy Carr's complex layers of performed identity in the past, but I'm now prepared to acknowledge that he's just a cunt.

My toenails are now red.

I need to put dye on my hair.

Then I'll do the washing up and lunch packing and coffee maker prep.

That should kill off more time.
