Donald Trump is an evil @sshat who thinks being president is his own little video game. I really am not sure if he realizes that these thousands of people who is he is practically murdering on a daily basis don't respawn back onto their little base.

"Donald J Trump is one of histories worst presidents (I hate this country)"

  • History's worst*
  • Nothing that Trump does in America affects you here in Britain (assuming you're living in Britain and aren't accessing this site from the USA)

But it does because trade is global and he's been meddling in our politics since he came to power. If you can see that then I'm lost for words.

It's no secret of Trump's desire for Farage to be in number 10. Transatlantic right-wing link" refers to the growing connections, networking, and ideological alignment between right-wing and far-right movements, political parties, and organizations across the United States and Europe. These linkages involve shared ideas, funding, and a mutual reinforcement of narratives and policy goals.

If Farage gains power, which he will going on the current polls, The United Kingdom will almost certainly split. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will break away....the values shared in the UK are not the same and it's the English that forced Brexit on us and we will not tolerate being ruled by Farage.

ExitViaGiftShop · 07/12/2025 10:37

@BadgernTheGardenI do live here, ( unfortunately) and I know exactly what is going on. Why are people in the UK so obsessed with another nation and their leader? They don’t live in a well functioning society themselves and have nothing to gloat about. The British superiority thing just needs to stop, the UK is an increasingly irrelevant country on the world stage.

RoamingToaster · 07/12/2025 11:24

@ExitViaGiftShop All the more reason to pay attention to countries like the USA whose actions have major implications to us and others. If it were another US president, Germany wouldn’t be on set to build their army like they’re doing. There are many knock on effects for Europe. I can’t imagine Switzerland thought they’d be presenting the president of the US with a big Rolex and gold bar to get favourable tariff rates but that worked for them. It’s foolish not to pay attention to how things have changed in the USA.

I don’t see anyone here claiming the UK has no issues. You can look at other countries and your own. You can learn lessons from other countries both to follow and avoid.

@dwordle Last I checked Reform were set to be the second biggest party at the Scottish elections next year so it’s not just England they’re appealing to. It may break up the union in the end but I think it’s not a given.

Because we are interested. Suggesting that posters here need to refrain from criticising other countries' leaders until the UK is perfect is ridiculous.🙈

I have said this before but the quicker we accept that America is no longer aligned with us the quicker we can start rebuilding our economy and securing our way of life.

America is now an enemy who is actively seeking to interfere with our politics and seeks to damage any country that fails to bow to its requests.

It's not China we have to worry about it's Russia, Israel and America.

I honestly believe fair elections won't be seen again in America until people wake up to the reality. Trump can't live forever but his legacy may well do so and I think people need to realise that this happening and prepare for it.

I might be wrong because this is my personal analysis. But the facts are the last insurrection was only stopped by a handful republicans and the rest were happy to let Trump steal democracy. Right now there is no way it could be stopped.....so think about it.

So mid terms I believe are in 2026, let's see how it unfolds

Completely agree.

What's the coolest part? Trump emboldening Putin by praising his "genius" invasion of Ukraine, amid the war's toll of over 10,000 civilian deaths, including the rape and torture of children? Or maybe his fantasy of turning Gaza's coastline into a luxury resort rivalling Monaco while Palestinian babies and children starve and civilians are bombarded? Or maybe his boasts about strolling into Miss Teen USA dressing rooms unannounced while contestants, some as young as 15, were changing? Or his recorded admission to grabbing women "by the pussy" without consent? Or the court finding him liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll? Or his documented friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, including multiple flights on the Lolita Express, as revealed in unsealed files? Or his threats to revoke broadcast licenses of media outlets that criticise him, labeling them "fake news" and "enemies of the people"? Or his relentless pattern of bullying opponents, spreading thousands of documented lies, and deploying misogynistic insults like calling women "horseface", “piggy” or nasty"? What's the coolest part for you?

HoneyParsnipSoup · 07/12/2025 16:43

He’s a confusing guy.

He’s a horrific sexist and has little regard for anyone that… isn’t himself, basically.

On the other hand he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.

I’ve always know 2 things can be true at once but this is extreme.

Yes he is awful. Autocratic, lacks any empathy, pardons drug lords or anyone who has helped him in any way regardless of the criminal acts they have carried out. His foreign policy and economic policies are purely self serving for him and his cronies. Worst President ever.

ONE of the worst? He was previously ranked as among the three worst, but one of those was someone who died immediately after the election. At this point, he must, must, be considered by any rational person to be the worst.

But when you say (I hate this country) it's not clear if you're referring to the UK or USA. I hope you don't hate the entire USA because of Trump.

dwordle · 08/12/2025 08:36

I'm amazed that so many Americans support what he is doing. Using the Gaza conflict as an opportunity to clench a real estate deal, I truly hope there is a hell because he's going straight there.

I don't view America as an ally and I don't think we can trust them. I believe the Ukraine is being conned by Trump, Trump is interested in financial deals in Russia it's his only reason for this.

I'm a realist and accept that some land may have to be given up but I won't accept that it's business as usual with Russia and I don't think Europe will either. We need to accept that Russia poses a real threat to our security...I'm not just talking about war I'm talking about political meddling and espionage

I hate the vast majority of the US because of Trump.

about half of them support him. Probably another quarter or so are so committed to their extreme left politics that they refuse to vote for the good of their country and the world. Fuck then

One of? You're too kind.

Totally agree.
Trump is the very worst of America put into a blender and piped into an orange sausage skin.
He has the almost unique distinction of having no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
I have never seen a sliver of basic humanity, no love, no humour, no morality from him at any point.
Combine this with a gigantic ego, bottomless greed, relentless cruelty (which he visibly enjoys) and incredible ignorance and this is your president.

I consider Trump as much as I threat to Europe as Putin to be honest, and you can add Netanyahu as well. The three of them are very alike.

Gman1 · 09/12/2025 17:09

People who voted reform need to open their eyes ,these people are just Trumps little puppets and like Trump they doff their hats to putin and his kind. When he has what he wants he will trample all over them and take what he wants when he wants.
I never used to believe in reincarnation but this is just a Nazi invasion and hes as close to Hitler as you will ever see.

Maggiethecat · 09/12/2025 17:53

To those minimising the threat that Trump poses to us consider again how he regards Europe especially in relation to Russia.
It’s no wonder that Putin welcomes the US National Security Strategy , saying it’s consistent with Russia’s vision.
We were warned how dangerous Trump is but either enough of the electorate didn’t care enough or didn’t believe.
And then you have people creating silly peace awards for him. Wake me up please!

I think we are heading towards world war three, at some point Germany, Britain, Poland and France will have to make a decision....either we back the Ukraine with a first strike against Russia cutting the head off the snake or we face a stronger Russia in 5 or 10 years time without the Ukraine

He promised to pardon the Jan6 rioters. He did that.

He’s a malignant bastard.

I feel sorry for the Americans that did not vote for him.

He called Somali immigrants ‘garbage’ the other day. He’s head of what has turned out to be a white supremacist christian nationalist Republican Party.

He’s not dumb or stupid and I wish people would stop thinking he is. It’s underestimating him. He just doesn’t think any rules are made to include him. And so far it seems he’s been right. I think he’s very probably got dementia.

All of this. And I agree with your next posts too - he really is the ultimate grifter who has managed to turn people's hatred into a club to be wielded. It is straight out of the tyrant playbook.

I think the Democrats have to take their share of the blame. The obsession with identity politics literally drives wedges between different groups. It is divisive for society, not cohesive, even when it starts off well-intentioned.

I really hope Labour, Liberal Democrats and the Greens look across the Atlantic and realise that they need to represent all, not just fashionable victim groups. I feel a little more hope with Shabana Mahmood and Wes Streeting in the frame than I did before. A vote for 'Your Party' or the Greens is literally a vote for a future under Reform. Nothing is more important than preventing a future people are planning to vote for without understanding the consequences. Labour has GOT to push back against the lunatic fringe in their own party, even if that means holding their noses and supporting biological realism and enforcing our borders to protect our way of life. Otherwise the same people who voted for Brexit and are now watching our economy burn will vote for Reform, then wonder why the fire is burning faster, not going out.

I completely agree, and we are running out of time to prove to people that we need sensible policies and not knee jerk reactions to events to steer the country. Yes we need green sustainable policies but not policy that turns people against green policies. Yes we need a fair and equal society and not one that drives wedges between groups. It's a fine balance and our politicians need to start learning quickly or face and intolerant, carbon burning era of populism that will in the end result in a country that may never actually recover.

This is the latest from Trumpland: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1dz0g2ykpeo

5 years social media history (not sure how it's going to work? Are we expected to hand over our passwords and disclose all social media handles?)
Email addresses used for the past 10 YEARS
and phone numbers (I assume that includes professional numbers, which honestly I've forgotten for the most part)
It also requires you to hand over the details of your close relatives. It's bizarre.

A US CBP officer checks the passport of a traveller

US could ask tourists for five-year social media history before entry

The plan would affect people from countries, including the UK, who can fill out a form in lieu of a visa.
