I know that Labour treated Jeremy APPALLINGLY but the focus should be on fighting off the far right

Jeremy can help Labour do that

No idea what the point of this new party is 😒😒, as much as i love JC

Row breaks out at top of Your Party over claims of 'sexist boys club'

Jeremy Corbyn is seeking legal advice after Zarah Sultana sent out an "unauthorised email" about paid membership - which she claimed she did after being "sidelined".

Maybe she will gradually come to feel that the Labour Party wasn’t actually so bad. She had a good career there. Where will she find her political home now?

GargoylesofBeelzebub · 19/09/2025 08:27

Why doesn’t Zarah just identify as a man, then she can join the boy’s club? Right?

The Greens? But then she'll have to share with Zack Polanski.

Hamas?

But she might find that a tad "sexist boys club" as well.

She’ll also have to develop a bigger interest in the climate crisis… at the moment Gaza is her main priority not environmental issues affecting the UK.

Frankly the Greens need to develop a bigger interest in the climate crisis imo! Their main interests seem to be ( like Sultana) Gaza and TWAW with the environment and afterthought.

The Greens have put the climate crisis on the back burner so she should be okay.

What we really really desperately need is for a party to stand up to the racist propaganda. I sadly think the country is split about 50/50 between people who follow Farage/Yaxley Lennon and those who don't. But those who don't have no political party and no spokespeople. We need to set aside the environment, Gaza, Trans issues for the moment and unite against the threat from the far right.

TheRealMagic · 19/09/2025 09:38

They were never, ever going to be able to actually make a functioning party. All of them believe all decisions must be consensual and talked to death with no one person making all the calls - but they also all believe that any compromise at all on anything you want is unforgiveable moral cowardice. These are not compatible things. You would think that it might teach them a lesson about how actually it isn't as easy to head a party as it looks when you're carping from the sidelines - but Corbyn should have already learned that and has utterly failed to!

DontReinMeIn · 19/09/2025 09:38

Absolutely infuriating at this point and just makes me think none of them care about anything other than furthering their own interests.

I’m going down a bit of a rabbit hole with this, trying to work out who are the men she’s talking about.

She seems to be trading shots with Adnan Hussain. It's not just about trans women are women blah blah. But that's a part of it .

Also she wants to charge ahead and sign up loads of members and use social media , like the Greens and Reform do so well. Which is fair enough. But it is a bit ironic of her to moan about the boys club. She is the one telling women to budge up and lump it.

I honestly can't think of much that would be more disastrous for the pushback against Reform (which I also very, very much support) than Corbyn and Sultana becoming the face of the opposition to them. They are anathema to exactly the sort of people who could be persuaded for or against a Reform agenda - the people you need to speak to if you actually want to combat Reform rather than just make yourself feel very good about being superior to them.

Or maybe the lads can identify as women. Then the new party will be more inclusive and anyone who says it isn't must be a transphobe. And we can move for their expulsion. Over to you Jezza.

PurpleChrayn · 19/09/2025 10:24

When you force the liberal Left and conservative Muslims into bed together, what do you expect? Gaza is the only commonality, and it it quite frankly bizarre that the Left salivate so much over a place where gay men and trans people are thrown off buildings.

If we vote Green in a Labour safe seat I think it opens it up to Reform.

THIS. if you live in a 'safe' Labour and want to avoid a Reform government you need to vote Labour. not Green

@PurpleChrayn I kind of agree with you just a little

If the men in charge alongside Jeremy arent socially liberal, what do i really have in common with them other than wanting a free palestine?

I feel like this infighting is classic left wing politics.

I also feel kind of sad. Jeremy is well on the way to proving himself to be everything the media said he was when they actively tried to destroy him.

I'm as worried that people think green is a sensible option.

My own involvement with them many years ago led me to think they were all barking mad.
I have seen nothing since to change my mind.

This page might help.

Yeah, maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t all the media trying to destroy him and he was actually really bad?

Like when he got no-confidenced and refused to resign and practically his entire shadow cabinet resigned and he still refused to resign, that might have been a hint that he was difficult?

And when he said that the anti-semitism in Labour report was overblown and he got thrown out of the party, maybe that was a sign that his obsession with Palestine blinded him to other things?

I certainly don’t think Zarah Sultana is totally to blame here.

BIossomtoes · 19/09/2025 16:55

Entirely predictable. Even I didn’t expect this enterprise to implode quite so quickly.
