No he is not. Unfortunately

The White House lie about his health. They say he's 6ft 3 and 215lb (15st 5lb). That is utter BS. He is more 5ft 10 and 300lb (21st 6lb) as when he stands next to politicians who are 6ft 2, Trump is shorter.

He has late stage dementia. When he met up with Putin, he was walking all over the place on the red carpet. https://www.threads.com/@amay.a100/post/DNY3qCDtwyi/video-trump-couldnt-even-walk-in-a-straight-line-to-greet-putin-and-hes-out-here-looki?hl=en-gb
He stands leaning forward - probably the cause of him tripping up on the steps to Air Force 1 in June.
He wears adult nappies, has a catheter and symptoms of CHF. Plus he has serious BO as see politicians holding or wiping their noses.

Have you ever met anyone with late stage dementia? I suspect not…

Doesn't matter - if Vance takes over now, he's in power for the next three years and chances are he'd get in again on the back of using Trump's recent support etc. Vance is a very very dangerous man.

I think if Trump croaks, Vance is not going to have it easy. I think the MAGAts and the party will be like rats fighting in a sack.
I don't think he is popular. Yes he can be a puppet, but I do not think it will be plain sailing.
MAGAts just love Trump. He can insult them and they still love him. They don't love Vance who is seriously weird and I think they even think he is weird.

He was pictured at golf this morning looking in great health. How is Biden?

Is this a lame American echo of "But Corbyn" ?

Usernameunavailableagain12 · 30/08/2025 16:53

He’s not thankfully

jumpingthehighjump · 30/08/2025 16:55

Well, I can't wait to see the back of him

Thank you for your attention in this matter 🤣

SerendipityJane · 30/08/2025 16:56

I think if Trump croaks, Vance is not going to have it easy.

In what way ?

With Trump bulldozing all the protections the Founding Fathers naively thought would safeguard the Union into perpetuity, his successor will have no obstacles. Congress has been abolished, SCOTUS has ruled that POTUS can't break the law. What more would you want ?

It's a shame the Founding Fathers, who painfully to recreate the Roman Republic from their "Enlightenment guide to Rome" didn't finish the book. They might have had second thoughts.

"like rats fighting in a sack."

Love it!

In the way I don't think he has the support of MAGAts like Trump did. When Medicaid withdrawal bites, when all that Trump promised or lied about (cheaper fuel, lower prices,) shows... I think people will be turned off Vance.

Yes, we have got 3 years more, but maybe with the midterms being favourable, I just don't think it is going to be plain sailing for Repubs.
This is my hope

No one will shed a tear for Mr Trump. But it is fascinating that anti-Trumpers are doing their best to paint him as demented.

Presumably late, bitter and desperate spite about the exposure of Biden being doo-lally and its cover up.

I have. My late DGM had it. She was slurring her words, struggled to stand, even with a zimmer frame on wheels, refused to be washed and shouted in her sleep. Plus other symptoms. Her dementia went from mid stage to advanced stage then death in 2 months.

Liz Truss was president?
Bloody hell, that was a long nap I had! 😂

I meant prime minister… couldn’t edit it after I posted. Bless your heart.., you can go back to your nap

He has now entered the chrysalis stage and will be revealed in his new form. It will be more beautiful than anything anyone has ever seen. He will be greater and more powerful than anyone has ever been. He will be loved and admired more than anyone has ever been.

🤣 And more bigly!

SerendipityJane · 30/08/2025 17:02

In the way I don't think he has the support of MAGAts like Trump did.

I don't think I made it clear.

He doesn't need it.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 30/08/2025 17:03

Missed the fact that @HarrietBond had got there well before me! However, I think it's extremely disingenuous to say that having a fancy tomb is something that only happens to leaders who claimed to be left-wing. Kings, queens, emperors and pharaohs for thousands of years have spent obscene sums on their monuments. As a general rule, they all believed in the hereditary principle, the divine rule of kings and keeping the rest of the populace in their place, not characteristics notably associated with being left-wing.

Edited

I think it's because no decent human being could ever believe that another human being is capable of evil, so seek solace in alternative explanations.

Naive, perhaps. But it's actually borne of a love for a fellow human.

RosaMoline · 30/08/2025 17:06

No idea why some of the comments are telling commentators off for wishing and hoping that a rapist SA, con man and thoroughly despicable individual has carked it.
I for one, will be cracking open the champagne when that great day happens.
For now, it will have to stay on ice.

No sure why you think they will go ahead. I mean suppose there is an emergency and they need to be cancelled ?

Topseyt123 · 30/08/2025 17:16

Trump will be back. He is a teflon coated fuckwit, don't you know! 🙄 He also has this amazing ability to tweet from beyond the grave and recover. All reports of his demise will have been greatly exaggerated.

Anyway, who wants President Vance, apart from JD himself of course. He is many times worse than Trump.

There have been these rumours about many famous/infamous people in recent years - the Queen and Prince Philip well before their actual deaths, Vladimir Putin and the Princess of Wales to name but a few who spring to mind, and I am sure there may be others. All were bollocks.

Many of us would not be sad to see the back of Putin, but again, that triggers the question of who replaces him during the power vacuum he would leave.

I'm not wishing anyone dead. I don't like the status quo either (Trump, Vance, Putin etc.) but sometimes better the devil you know. Even though change, hopefully for the better, has to come at some point.

Ok, so when she got shot in the ear did she immediately realise what happened, react as she'd been trained, and once she knew the shooter was dead stand up and turn the situation into the greatest campaign moment, probably of all time?

Did she regularly carry out completely coherent hours long interviews, then get on q plane, fly for hours and then carry out an hours long rally? More than once in a short period? Did she do an average of two rallies a day for a month? Did she have surprisingly fantastic comedic timing when recounting the story of riding a garbage truck? Did she hold multiple facts about the many, many people he meets every week in his head and use them conversationally on camera, like Trump has been doing over and over again since January.

You don't have to like the man, but he is sharper now than most people will ever hope to be. Claiming he has dementia is utterly fucking disingenuous, especially when Biden was clearly already showing signs of it in 2020 and deteriorated horribly through his term to the point that he was an obvious victim of elder abuse by the end.

Oh and if Trump does have dementia, that makes him a victim of elder abuse too. If you really believed he was that I'll, you'd be criticising his abusers rather than victim blaming.

Oh. And Trump has been confirmed alive since 2.15pm GMT. Why are people still acting as if there is some mystery about whether or not he's alive three hours on?

SerendipityJane · 30/08/2025 17:20

jumpingthehighjump · 30/08/2025 17:17

As I say, I am trying to remain positive.

Collapse of the worlds largest industrial power into civil war and anarchy ? What will be the defining moments in the closing days of human history and we all have a ringside seat ?

There are people in history who would have died to be where we are.

Staying positive is a woke invention for snowflakes.

I too believe any dementia has been overstated.
