outrageous exploitative overreach by Trumps regime to try and dictate how the Uk handles free speech. How dare he, I hope Starmer holds firm.
Trumps administration, the very same who cancel press access if they refuse to use the approved language of the regime ( Gulf of Mexico). This would take the UK to a very dark place.

Guess who is in line for Governor? Lined up for 2029? Reform 'Sovereignty is all' is ironically in bed with them but oh no, the biggest threat to the UK is the only bloc that is still trying to uphold liberal democratic values! And OF COURSE the first thing Reform will do is take us out of the ECHR - wonder why?? Anyone fancy a trip to El Salvador?

Vance likes shooting his mouth off and making threats. Starmer won’t join in a war of words with Vance. He might say one cryptic sentence and that’s all. No shouting matches. I don’t trust him because I don’t know what he’s going to do next, but it won’t involve threats.

Yes. I have name changed a few times over the years but I remember the Brexit threads. No one can deny that by and large, the predictions came true in terms of reduced trade, GDP and no improvement in public services. Brexit is to sovereignty and prosperity what free speech is to Trump.

Indeed, any relationship that is blatantly one-sided is not worth having.

And I'm saying that as someone who got 'accused' of being American on my own thread a couple of days ago!

Unfortunately I agree, I think we should be very wary of writing them off. Especially when they have the backing and might of the Russian propaganda psychological warfare bot farms extending their tentacles all over the web and social media.
