A question for the ladies

Are there, or were there, any famous politicians that made your heart go thumpity thump?

Obama or Sunak (for as long as he lasted) or Trudeau, or.................... nah, not Trump.

Anyone else on the public political stage that makes your heart beat faster? From anywhere in the world?

Nup

WatchOutWatchOut · 25/07/2024 14:43

Can't think of a single one.

Rummly · 25/07/2024 14:44

John Prescott. Nicholas Soames. Mmmm.

Pocketfullofdogtreats · 25/07/2024 14:45

Ladies?
Don't you mean 'vipers'?

Whatever the opposite of thumpity thump is (ploppity plop, "oh god I've just been sick on the cat" etc) - that is what Trudeau does for me.

Can't think of a single politican I've fancied.

OMGsamesame · 25/07/2024 14:47

I'm a plain woman rather than a "lady" so I don't understand the question

HandShoe · 25/07/2024 14:49

Nope

Touché.

SantaMariaMaggiore · 25/07/2024 14:50

I would with Pedro Sánchez but I’m no lady.

FancyNewt · 25/07/2024 14:51

This is what you ask on the politics forum?

MellersSmellers · 25/07/2024 14:53

Suella Braverman makes me livid and my heart goes thumpity-thump every time she opens her mouth.

bouncybouncingboobies · 25/07/2024 14:58

Absolutely Kier Starmer.

EauNeu · 25/07/2024 15:00

This should be in chat, not politics. What am I saying, this should have stayed in your own head.

This.

And also @MellersSmellers's response to Suella Braverman, though I suspect that wasn't the kind of thumpity-thump you meant, OP. More enraged ideologically-induced heart palpitations than fanny gallops.

You are still a lady.

Farage makes my blood pressure sky rocket (and my heart sink) every time I see or hear him. I can practically smell the eau de cigarette.

This has "smile, love" energy

Do you go round other websites telling people what to do, or just the mum ones?

fleabites · 25/07/2024 15:19

I find Keir Starmer hot.
I'd do him any day

Sounds grumpy again. Making a suggestion is telling you what to do??
