Anyone planning on watching?

OP posts:

Well done to that midwife from Devon for her scepticism towards May.

TM didn't really know where to put herself. Squirmed a bit.

DriftingDreamer · 29/05/2017 21:38

Very boring....
Hope she gets a grilling so she has to answer a question....

BorisTrumpsHair · 29/05/2017 21:38

Strong

Doje · 29/05/2017 21:39

She's not very engaging is she. I don't think I've managed to listen to a whole answer yet, I keep zoning out.

BorisTrumpsHair · 29/05/2017 21:40

I wish I was counting difficult/hard choices too

Topseyt · 29/05/2017 21:41

Now to see how she does with Paxman. Hope he doesn't disappoint and is as hard on her as he was on Corbyn.

everygalaxy · 29/05/2017 21:42

You could hear the emotion in the midwife's voice - not taken in at all.

KillDora · 29/05/2017 21:43

Do you know what (and I can't believe I'm saying this)

I was impressed by Jeremy Corbyn (fucking faints)

I am a lifelong Tory voter, and was even considering ukip at one point.

But bugger me if he hasn't impressed me. He isn't who I was expecting from the news stories and coverage so far at all.

Though I'm usually a Tory I wasn't fond of Theresa May anyway, I was quite amused by her getting owned by the nurses reply.

refusetobeasheep · 29/05/2017 21:43

I don't think May is particularly competent. the problem is I think Corbyn would be actively incompetent. what a shambolic choice.

intheknickersoftime · 29/05/2017 21:43

Well what a surprise, paxo isn't butting in every five seconds with May.

Doje · 29/05/2017 21:44

He's not as aggressive, but still being an idiot.

Perfectplonker · 29/05/2017 21:44

I have such a huge crush on Jeremy Corbyn now Grin

Calm, funny and actually seemed like a warm human being.

Sigh

BorisTrumpsHair · 29/05/2017 21:45

She's been wearing "Labour Red" a lot lately 👍🏽

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 29/05/2017 21:45

Err but he is Hmm

Agree refuse it's a sad state of affairs

KillDora · 29/05/2017 21:46

I disagree.

I think he actually came across as someone who could be a competent leader. Not at all like the bumbling idiot I thought he was.

DriftingDreamer · 29/05/2017 21:46

TM is getting an easier ride.....

intheknickersoftime · 29/05/2017 21:47

Err no he isn't Hmm

perhapsiwill · 29/05/2017 21:47

He's not interrupting her as much

perhapsiwill · 29/05/2017 21:48

Ask her about schools please Paxman

Saucery · 29/05/2017 21:48

He did perform very well. Would need a decent cabinet behind him to back up those soft spoken promises though.
He has been the best in this debate though, recovered well when Paxman attacked.

Whistleblower0 · 29/05/2017 21:48

Giving may an easy ride, and allowing her to waffle.

KillDora · 29/05/2017 21:48

Damn posted too soon.

What I really liked was that it was quite clear that he doesn't rule over people.

I am really unsure on some of his views, but what I think was obvious, was that he compromises depending of what others say. (I was thinking of the manifesto)

Saucery · 29/05/2017 21:52

Oooh, the You Had One Job question. Grin

LuluLovesFruitcakes · 29/05/2017 21:53

She's still not answering questions properly for Paxman 😳

He's giving her an easy ride though.

That bloke in the audience that mouthed "bollocks" was brilliant😂

IvorHughJarrs · 29/05/2017 21:54

Hardcore That piece makes interesting reading but is a direct opposite of the views of Yanis Varoufakis who says negotiations with the EU are not about diplomacy or reaching compromise but are solely about them trying to victimise their opponents and screw them into the ground so maybe the "bloody difficult woman" thing might be more useful after all. Sadly we just don't know as we are in uncharted territories
