I'm not normally into conspiracy theories but there are a lot of things that don't add up there

Conspiracy theory? Everything's a conspiracy theory to you. Dead body, very little blood loss at scene, recent dealings with govt.

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 11:50

I have not been shouting you down, Southall.
I have been pointing out your lies and diversions in as respectful a way as I can while you insult me and make false accusations.
If you still think that our objections to Trump are limited to being "hard-headed in business" and "liking women" then either you haven't read our posts or you have serious problems with comprehension.

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 11:56

"Dead body, very little blood loss at scene, recent dealings with govt." - yes, I agreed with you on this - it's deeply suspicious.
Doesn't mean that I buy into huge, overarching conspiracy theories of "establishment elite puppet masters" controlling the world with the help of the whole msm, academics and all religious leaders though.
That's the difference between using critical thinking to assess the credibility of a theory, and just believing everything you read on Infowars.

I sent some messages but I am unable to locate them.
DONALD TRUMP
I do not like Trump because he has extreme views. He is bound to cause further trouble and disruption.

Southallgirl · 30/11/2016 12:03

The fury and loathing directed at climate scientists and campaigners seemed incomprehensible until I realised they were fake: the hatred had been paid for

But lweji this is exactly what climate change sceptics get! David Bellamy, the environmentalist and botanist, used to appear on our TV screens all the time. But once he declared that he was not sure about c/c he was no longer invited back by any channel, but esp. BBC.

I personally have no view on this, because I don't have sufficient scientific knowledge. All I know is that the Earth is in constant pain and is being gouged and poisoned by us. (I suppose that essentially I am a Gaia-est).

I do understand it's difficult but that is because you don't know the background, and how all of this has come about. What I and Claig and others are writing must be inexplicable, because the penny has not yet dropped for you.

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 12:11

Southall, I will admit that (controversially maybe) I am not 100% convinced by man made climate change. I am about 99% convinced. I have tried to educate myself, but will never understand it as well as the scientists who have spent their careers investigating it.
Even if I was only 10% convinced though, the consequences of getting it wrong are so huge that I still wouldn't risk it.
(By the way, what do you think would happen to migration as the effects of climate change become more obvious? I know that this is an issue you have an opinion on.)

You would have to be really, really sure that climate change presents no threat to do nothing.

Southallgirl · 30/11/2016 12:12

while you insult me and make false accusations

Point this out now where this has been done. Sounds like faked victimhood to me.

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 12:12

Southall, you think I blindly believe everything the mainstream media tells me*. Why do you think I should swop this for blindly believing everything you and Claig tell me?

*I don't.

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 12:14

"Point this out now where this has been done. Sounds like faked victimhood to me."

-When you accused me of victim blaming, and not caring about rape victims. Those were the accusations I found the most insulting and were totally untrue.

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 12:21

Oh and I'm a humorless communist who lives in a cave! Grin

Southallgirl · 30/11/2016 12:21

Squishy What do YOU think will happen to migration when some areas become hotter?

I read that Merkel's invitation to 1 million people last year was actually the beginning of a very long range plan to resettle people due to higher temperatures in their own countries, and the ISIS fighting was a convenient opportunity. What do YOU think about that notion, any credibility?

Lweji · 30/11/2016 12:25

Also:

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/nov/30/political-correctness-how-the-right-invented-phantom-enemy-donald-trump

"Political correctness: how the right invented a phantom enemy"
"For 25 years, invoking this vague and ever-shifting nemesis has been a favourite tactic of the right – and Donald Trump’s victory is its greatest triumph"
by Moira Weigel

"Trump and his followers never defined “political correctness”, or specified who was enforcing it. They did not have to. The phrase conjured powerful forces determined to suppress inconvenient truths by policing language."

(sorry, no time to read and reply, but the articles are quite relevant to the general discussion)

Alyosha · 30/11/2016 12:27

What do you think will happen to ME migration if Trump uses Nuclear weapons in the M@E as promised, Southall?

Alyosha · 30/11/2016 12:27

At least the Nuclear winter will stop global warming :)

Southallgirl · 30/11/2016 12:29

-When you accused me of victim blaming, and not caring about rape victims

I joined MN in early January. Had never been here before, and what caused me to register was Cologne. The avoidance of discussing such an event, an organised crime across several countries, by saying that 'rape has always existed' is the same sort of language used on the Cologne threads. Those who threw that sort of comment in - for whatever reason, but probably in support of mass immigration without ID - would always say that and then tried to turn it around to the sexism that exists in all societies.

It's a technique that I am aware of.

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 12:29

I think that failing crops will result in economic problems and starvation and huge numbers of people will try to move to richer countries in order to earn enough money to feed their families.
I think that international conflicts will increase, and this will result in even more displaced people.
I think that rising sea levels and more unpredictable weather conditions will displace more populations.
Basically, if you think there's a migrant crisis now, things can get a whole lot worse.
An absolute catastrophe for everyone is what I think -how about you?

Your Merkel assertion does not sound overwhelmingly credible though - it's back into over complicated, ridiculous conspiro-nuts territory. Occam's razor and all that. Wink.

So the idea that Trump thinks climate change is all a Chinese conspiracy is not reassuring.

" sent some messages but I am unable to locate them.
DONALD TRUMP
I do not like Trump because he has extreme views. He is bound to cause further trouble and disruption."

And that is absolutely fine User. Its absolutely all about an individuals right to an opinion. I think many of us were probably in your position 12 months ago, until wikileaks happened.

Wikileaks, took decades of concerns and whispers being dismissed as conspiracy nuts, and exposed that it was all true all along.

Wikileaks has utterly exposed the workings of our political class and media. Its all there. And the only counter attack the politicians, MSM, elite, can do is shout 'the russians have hacked us!' (or macedonian teenagers have made it all up and changed the political face of the world forever)

Where an opinion however, then crosses the line, is the constant persuit of an individual on the basis of, 'I wont stop attacking you until you accept my view'. Its prevalent in politics, its prevalent in MSM and its prevalent here. There is no doubt whtsoever, what Claigs view is of Trump. Thats fine. Just as theres no doubt of your view, which is fine too.

My view on Trump, is and has always been, you dont send the Dalai Lama in to sort out this corrupt immoral duplicitous style of government. Hes an american solution to an american problem. America has sent a wolf, and a fearless one at that, into the foxes den. Id be extrememly concerned, if indeed Trump spent his weekends knitting and baking cookies, as theyd demolish him in days.

As Claig says, he knows the game. He knows the players.

claig · 30/11/2016 12:48

'America has sent a wolf, and a fearless one at that, into the foxes den. Id be extrememly concerned, if indeed Trump spent his weekends knitting and baking cookies, as theyd demolish him in days. '

Absolutely Chris. They have met their match.

'I read that Merkel's invitation to 1 million people last year was actually the beginning of a very long range plan to resettle people due to higher temperatures in their own countries, and the ISIS fighting was a convenient opportunity. What do YOU think about that notion, any credibility?'

Southallgirl, absolutely nothing to that. Complete lie, usual elite and puppet trick. Separate thread, but climate change is about politics, not science. Trump knows the score about it which is why they are in meltdown. The reason they use the lie you quoted is because they have convinced millions that climate change is true and a disaster and therefore by using that old game, they think people will accept mass immigration which is uncontrolled. Usual stuff they do, spinners push it, but the game is up because Trump knows the truth.

Alyosha · 30/11/2016 12:49

Southall - it's odd, because you completely refuse to discuss the fact that Trump is an avowed sexual abuser.

Do you only care about rape and sexual abuse when muslims do it?

Southallgirl · 30/11/2016 12:51

Chris - Excellent words. I once met Red Adair - you know the oil well fighter who said something like - Sometimes with a really big fire (corruption), the only way to put it out is with an explosion (Trump). (My brackets)

' Frightened by Donald Trump? You don’t know the half of it
George Monbiot'

www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/nov/30/donald-trump-george-monbiot-misinformation

In Today's Guardian. Monbiot, Oxbridge. Panic. Game up. Trump has the elite's number, knows their game. Game over. USA.

Trump is spending his weekends planning on self enriching himself and his mates. Giving himself and his friends a massive tax cuts. Putting the head of the AEI in charge of deregulating banks.

I'm sure the elites are quaking in their boots at the thought of so much extra cash flowing into their pockets.

claig · 30/11/2016 13:07

Trump goes on the media faces down all their politically correct bullying over climate change and every other subject. mocks them to their faces, takes the piss and the Trump fans cheer.

Then Trump calls the entire mainstream media "a room full of liars" and the political class "puppets". Guardian in meltdown.

Only in Hans Christian Andersen.

Trump and the Beanstalk. Game up, game over. Elites finished.

"Jack and the Beanstalk" is an English fairy tale. It appeared as "The Story of Jack Spriggins and the Enchanted Bean" in 1734
...
but the story is certainly older than these accounts. According to researchers at Durham University and the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, the story originated more than 5,000 years ago.[7]
..
giant, returns home. He senses that Jack is nearby, and speaks a rhyme:

Fee-fi-fo-fum!
I smell the blood of an Englishman,
Be he alive, or be he dead,
I'll grind his bones to make my bread.[4]

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_and_the_Beanstalk

Trump half Scottish, not English, but should immediately be given honorary English citizenship plus several Knighthoods.

Trump and the Beanstalk, elites finished. Lies and spin over.

Regarding Red Adair southall: you might get to see more exciting blow outs if Trump is successful in cutting regulation (ie health and safety) in the energy industry!
