The last one filled up quickly.

More discussion on the significance of Trump, Trumpism and the Trumpsters and what it all means for Blairites.

Does she like Blair? Give me one minute to explain him to her and she would be saying he is just another one of those PPE puppets, I guarantee you.

This is not a people's revolution.

claig · 03/12/2016 18:00

'One elderly member of my extended family cited that the EU working time directive was encouraging laziness amongst the young as her main reason for leaving.... '

It sounds like she could well be a Donald Trump fan. Hard work, graft and responsibility - Trump's attributes.

My point was that not only is this not a people's revolution, but that even the people who are on "the same side" as you in one respect will disagree on pretty much everything else. I voted remain, but even I know that not all leavers share your love of Trump and Farage.

squishysquirmy · 03/12/2016 18:37

Other people's hard work, graft and responsibility, while he cashes in - Trump's attributes.

Fixed it for you!

InformalRoman · 03/12/2016 18:38

Sounds like Claig is busy channelling a certain Mr Blair.

Missswatch · 03/12/2016 22:51

Milo Yiannopoulos speech sabotaged by homophobic liberals. They pulled the fire alarm and chanted 'faggot go home'

I thought they were meant to be tolerant?

squishysquirmy · 03/12/2016 23:11

Maybe those ones had faulty hive mind connections Missswatch. Or maybe they weren't liberals. Or maybe they weren't representative of all liberals, who are actually a huge, diverse group of people.

squishysquirmy · 03/12/2016 23:25

Milo Yiannopoulos is a piece of work though.

Missswatch · 03/12/2016 23:42

Trumps victory has shown the true colours of many liberals

SenecaFalls · 04/12/2016 05:54

Now this is a man of the people:

peardropz · 04/12/2016 07:26

Milo Yiannopoulos speech sabotaged by homophobic liberals. They pulled the fire alarm and chanted 'faggot go home'

I'm sure he won't mind seeing. As he's so unconcerned with "hurt feelings".

WouldHave · 04/12/2016 08:10

Now he's moaning about his portrayal on Saturday Night Live. This man is actually stupid.

peardropz · 04/12/2016 08:50

It's so embarrassing.

Lweji · 04/12/2016 09:03

They'll just do worse.
I wonder if he'll call them to Trump tower and give them a dressing down.

Lweji · 04/12/2016 09:27

It's older news, but watch this post-truth newscast about Trump and the carrier jobs.

Also, it seems you, claig, may not have to worry about all the ads on Breitbart news. Kellogs are already pulling out. Soon it could be a nice barren landscape. Except for laundry detergent: your whites will be even more white.

InformalRoman · 04/12/2016 09:28

I think the mashed potato face photo will be retweeted rather a lot now. Grin

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/12/2016 09:38

He doesn't have much of a sense of humour does he? I am really grateful to him though for reminding me to check out youtube this morning. Rather loved the 'build the swamp bit' Grin

long live political satire!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/12/2016 09:41

like this missswatch? ?

Chris1234567890 · 04/12/2016 09:43

Claig, saw this and thought of you. Smile
Having a lovely weekend christmas shopping and house decorating. Not expecting any significant results until tomorrow from Italy and Austria, though theres half an eye on Algieria at the moment as rumour has it President Bouteflika is seriously ill and has weeks, not months to live. Another civil war there, will utterly saturate France with a refugee crisis 10 times the size of Syria. Just popping it on the Trumpster world radar. Wont be back till tomorrow, too much to do, but hope youre having a good weekend.
PS Trump..Taiwan? Genius move Grin

Trump (Part 3)
squishysquirmy · 04/12/2016 10:04

I think the last article on that list has been crossed off prematurely.
Don't let the truth get in the way of your point though!

Does trump realise he is just plugging Saturday Night Live with his tweets? I wouldn't have watched it if he hadn't reminded me!

Kaija · 04/12/2016 10:13

Not sure the SNL tweet was a spontaneous show of thin-skinned pique. More like another small dead cat thrown on the table to stop people talking about how his pursuit of personal business interests in Taiwan and reckless disregard for diplomatic process is endangering international relations.

What enables Trump more than anything else is the speed at which news moves with social media, and how easily the media and public are distracted, so that one lie, offensive/stupid remark or report of his misconduct can quickly be replaced with another, rendering them all more or less weightless. He (or Steve Bannon) seems currently to be quite a way ahead of the game in this.

Inkanta · 04/12/2016 10:22

Claig - just catching up on the news. I find it very funny how China have taken umbridge with Trump having a chat to Taiwan! He doesn't give a toss does he - he'll talk to who he likes. I don't think he likes China - thinks they've taken all the jobs.

squishysquirmy · 04/12/2016 10:23

Good point Kaija. Laughing at his stupid tweets is much more fun than worrying about his diplomatically dangerous phone calls, which helps him get away with even more.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/12/2016 10:24

that is a good point Kaija.
