The last one filled up quickly.

More discussion on the significance of Trump, Trumpism and the Trumpsters and what it all means for Blairites.

I think cutting bank regulation (and regulations in other industries) could work in the short term, but cause massive problems in the long term. For example, if it increases the risk of another financial disaster, it could have huge and unpredictable consequences.

claig · 01/12/2016 23:45

'because you have written many many posts in support of Trump, probably more than all other MN posters put together'

That's right, I like him like 62 million Americans, and you have repeatedly smeared me as supporting "far right" and mentioned that I also have written many posts supporting Farage, who you claim is "far right".

It is a free country and I can support whoever I like. I don't support far right Nick Griffin, I support common sense anti establishment Farage because I am sick of Oxbridge idiots in government who have zero common sense and I am sick of bullying politically correct Establishment types and left wingers who try to tell me I am racist for supporting common sense politicians over Oxbridge idiots.

OP posts:
Kaija · 01/12/2016 23:46

I have not smeared you. You are self-confessedly pro-Putin and pro-Trump. I have not called you a troll. I disagree very strongly with your posts on matters which I believe are of the utmost importance, and that is why I reply to them. That is all there is to it.

Kaija · 01/12/2016 23:47

"who try to tell me I am racist"

Nobody did.

Kaija · 01/12/2016 23:48

And yes I certainly do believe Farage to be far right.

claig · 01/12/2016 23:49

'You are self-confessedly pro-Putin and pro-Trump'

And pro Farage.

'I disagree very strongly with your posts on matters which I believe are of the utmost importance, and that is why I reply to them. That is all there is to it.'

I don't believe you. I think you are anti Russian because you are not English and probably Latvian and you are obsessed with "far right" which you think Farage is.

OP posts:
Kaija · 01/12/2016 23:51

I am certainly not anti-Russian. Putin is not Russia.

claig · 01/12/2016 23:52

'And yes I certainly do believe Farage to be far right.'

Exactly, and because I support Farage "and have written more posts about Farage than anyone else on MN" you are hostile to me because you think that makes me "far right" like you think Farage is.

You ruin every thread you come on and have for months on my threads because you are obsessed with fascism and falsely accuse me of it.

OP posts:
Kaija · 01/12/2016 23:54

Obsessed? No. But I don't like it when I see it.

claig · 01/12/2016 23:57

'But I don't like it when I see it.'

Well I am not "far right", so go on another thread and look for it there, so that I don't have to put up with your constant implicatiosn and smears about your obsession that "you don't like to see".

OP posts:
Kaija · 01/12/2016 23:57

And I'm sorry if you feel I'm ruining your threads for you. I'm afraid it's the nature of free speech that sometimes people will strongly disagree with you, and that is their right.

Kaija · 01/12/2016 23:59

"Well I am not "far right""

I am glad to hear it. But you might then want to have another think about who you are supporting.

claig · 02/12/2016 00:00

'I'm afraid it's the nature of free speech that sometimes people will strongly disagree with you'

Most posters on this thread disagree with me, but they don't insult me by implying I am "far rght" "national socialist because I like Farage and Corbyn", "fascist", ""racist", "white supremacist" and "a paid pro Putin troll".

Discuss Trump if you know anything about him, but don't smear me.

OP posts:
squishysquirmy · 02/12/2016 00:00

I don't think you are racist Claig. I don't think all Trump supporters are racist. But Trump himself has said some very worrying things, and he has allied himself with some very unpleasant people. You are absolutely entitled to your views and to share them on here, but I find it impossible not to reply to your posts when I disagree so fundamentally with your perception of him. I am not doing it be a twat or spoil your fun - I think he is a dangerous man who may well lead us into some dangerous times and I feel compelled to challenge some of the praise heaped upon him here.
Occasionally I make glib comments, which is a bit immature of me, but I do also make some very serious points.

claig · 02/12/2016 00:03

"Well I am not "far right""

I am glad to hear it. But you might then want to have another think about who you are supporting."

Typical patronising answer. No thanks, I support Farage and Trump because I am sick of Establishment idiots with zero common sense.

OP posts:
claig · 02/12/2016 00:04

'but I find it impossible not to reply to your posts when I disagree so fundamentally with your perception of him'

I never said anything about your posts. I don't care if you think Trump is a racist Hitler supporter as long as you don't say I am

OP posts:
claig · 02/12/2016 00:06

' I feel compelled to challenge some of the praise heaped upon him here'

So do lots of other posters without accusing me of racism., which you don't either.

OP posts:
claig · 02/12/2016 00:08

'' I feel compelled to challenge some of the praise heaped upon him here''

I also like Farage, like 4 million other voters, and you probably don't and that is fine. That is democracy with different people having different views and on a Trump thread of Farage thread, disagreement and discussion and praise and opprobrium is fine as long as posters aren't accused of being racist f they say nothing racist.

OP posts:
claig · 02/12/2016 00:13

Back to Trump because it is very tiring to keep saying "I am not a fascist" "I am not a white supremacist", I am just a Trump fan, a Deplorable, like millions of others. Some good posters who understand politics like Spinflight and Chris have disappeared because it is impossible to discuss anything serious such as Renzi, Austria, France, Trump and globalisation, Syria, Putin and the whole world being affected by the US election, because the thread is littered with crap about "white supremacism"

"Donald Trump vows 'consequences' for companies leaving US"

'Scarborough: Trump considering Exxon CEO for secretary of State'

thehill.com/policy/energy-environment/308363-scarborough-trump-considering-exxon-ceo-for-secretary-of-state

That would be a fantastic choice, another top businessman rather than a member of the "political class"

OP posts:
Kaija · 02/12/2016 00:32

Oh Claig, you have used the words "white supremacism" far more than anyone else now. I wonder why you keep doing it. It's almost as if you are trying to smear Trump critics by making out that they are smearing you. You wouldn't do that would you?

Kaija · 02/12/2016 00:41

Exxon. Who suppressed their own evidence of climate change and put millions into promoting denial.

claig · 02/12/2016 00:43

'Nobody called you a white supremacist, Claig, although you keep repeating it. I asked you the question because you have written many many posts in support of Trump, probably more than all other MN posters put together, and he is a close associate of white supremacists (call them the alt-right if you prefer them under that cover), as well as making racist remarks himself. '

You are a nasty person. Black Dr Ben Carson supports Trump and the black Stump for Trump Sisters support Trump, and they are my absolute favourites, so would you ask them? You clearly get your kicks fighting "fascism" and "white supremacism" and since there isn't any on Mumsnet, you latch onto my threads about Trump and the biggest shock and upset in US history and the biggest event in world politics this century which is discussed by every TV station and newspaper on earth and you choose to ask me on my threads if "I am a white supremacist because I support Trump and have written many posts supporting him". I will continue writing "many posts about him" because I think he is the best thing to hit the world for ages and he will sweep all the useless Establishment idiots out of office all over Europe.

You have made your point in asking me if "I am a white supremacist". I ahev told you "no", now do me a favour and go away and fight "white supremacism" on a BNP forum, and let posters who want to discuss Trump and teh biggest political event which will shake all of Europe without your "fascist" obsession.

OP posts:
claig · 02/12/2016 00:44

'Exxon. Who suppressed their own evidence of climate change and put millions into promoting denial.'

Exactly, that is why it would be a great business choice.

Kaija · 02/12/2016 00:47

Claig, you're the one who keeps talking about it, not me.
