The last one filled up quickly.

More discussion on the significance of Trump, Trumpism and the Trumpsters and what it all means for Blairites.

Well you would say that wouldn't you. But there is absolutely zero evidence.

claig · 30/11/2016 18:04

There is no point explaining it because you believe eveything the news tells you. Trump told you they are a "room full of liars" but you probably think they tell the truth.

Whenever, you watch the TV news, you should ask yourself why did they tell me this and not that and is this Oxbridge spin for political ends, because politics is behind the lying, just as all the media lied about Trump, not because they didn't like him, because before he ran for President, they liked him, but because they fear him for political reasons.

The irony is about as big as the Trump buildings. Or even the mythical wall.

Kaija · 30/11/2016 18:07

Quite

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 18:15

Why should I swop "believing everything the news tells me*" for "believing everything a stranger on the Internet tells me"?

*I don't- I try to exercise some critical thinking, common sense and look at a number of sources.

claig · 30/11/2016 18:18

'Why should I swop "believing everything the news tells me*" for "believing everything a stranger on the Internet tells me"?'

I never asked you to believe me. I know what I say is true. If you are interested in politics and what goes on in the world, you should think for yourself and look at different sources and if you do that, you will probably agree with me.

Just something to consider about how things really work.

Trump said in his speech.

"They [the corrupt global establishment] have trillions at stake in this election
...
"They will lie, lie, lie, and they will do more than that, they will do whatever it takes."

That is really how the world works and Trump knows because he is a billionaire and understands and knows the top movers and shakers and what they are like. It was exactly the same in Brexit, because billions and billions of Euros and the entire future plans of the elites for Europe were at stake, and we beat them.

Wikileaks showed just a small fraction of what they do and what they are prepared to do.

For power, and politics

"They will lie, lie, lie, and they will do more than that, they will do whatever it takes."

Don't just believe what their news sources say, because they are only servants as was shown in Wikileaks by their offers of support to Hillary.

OP posts:
Kaija · 30/11/2016 18:35

There is nothing there to consider, because all you have said is that a proven serial liar has said that everyone else is lying. He would, wouldn't he.

claig · 30/11/2016 18:36

OK

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 18:40

So either Trump is always lying or the "establishment" is always lying. Quite a conundrum. Unless....
.... We ask one of them what the other would say, then we know that the truth is the opposite of that statement!

Lweji · 30/11/2016 18:40

I'll rephrase this:
'Why should I swap "believing everything the news tells me" for "believing everything a proven liar tells me"?'

The proven liar is Trump, btw.

claig · 30/11/2016 18:46

''Why should I swap "believing everything the news tells me" for "believing everything a proven liar tells me"?''

It is very simple. Who has the most to lose? And who has the most power and control and therefore the most means and opportunity to lie?

Wikileaks showed a part of how it is done? Trump has no power, total outsider, every world bleeder on earth calling him "unfit", puppets in Parliament, complete nobodies and useless to boot, wanting to ban someone who is now President-Elect of the United States

"Twitter Says It Would Consider Banning Donald Trump's Account"

sfist.com/2016/11/29/twitter_says_it_would_consider_bann.php

The entire world establishment and all its servants, world bleeders, puppets and many corporations and media organisations and their teams are against Trump and fear him.

The only way they can stop him is to lie, spin and ban him.

OP posts:
Lweji · 30/11/2016 18:50

It is very simple. Who has the most to lose? And who has the most power and control and therefore the most means and opportunity to lie?

Or who has the most to gain (or nothing to lose by lying blatantly), and who has so little power and control that he has to resort to lying to gain that power and control?

Lying doesn't require means, just opportunity, and Trump has had plenty. Pretty much he's opened his mouth.

You said yourself before that Trump lies as part of his strategy. So, what is what? How do you choose what to believe in from what he says? Just what you wish for?

claig · 30/11/2016 18:57

'Or who has the most to gain (or nothing to lose by lying blatantly), and who has so little power and control that he has to resort to lying to gain that power and control?'

That is a valid point, but as Trump said "they" [the corrupt global establishment], who are a million times richer and more powerful than Trump and to whom all the world bleeders and media teams of servants bend a knee, had trillions of dollars at stake if they lost. And they did lose. To save what they had, they tried everything, every slur and every world bleeder was called upon to pronounce Trump "unfit".

'You said yourself before that Trump lies as part of his strategy. So, what is what?'

Trump's lies are really just exaggerations, not very serious. The lies the "corrupt global establishment" use are mind control on the media by selecting what to report and what to omit. Adam Curtis probably explains how they do it, because they are trained in how to do it. Trump isn't, he is just a natural who took them all down by making Trump fans laugh with his political incorrectness. David beat Goliath, Trump beat the elites and they are mad as hell.

' How do you choose what to believe in from what he says? '

Using common sense, something all the teams and elites are very, very short of which is why Trump called them "very, very stupid people" and Trump fans all agreed.

How is saying that unemployment is at 20%, when it's actually at 4%, not serious?
It completely alters people's perceptions, particularly if they don't bother to check facts.

How is it saying that "nobody respects women more than me", when he self confessed to groping and there are reports of abuse, not a serious lie?

How is accusing the Chinese of making up climate change, not a serious lie?

And how is saying that Obamacare is rotten, and he'll replace it with a much better system (while failing to say what it is), and then say he'll keep it, not a serious lie?

InformalRoman · 30/11/2016 19:34

Trump is more than just a liar - he's a gaslighter.

claig · 30/11/2016 19:40

'How is saying that unemployment is at 20%, when it's actually at 4%, not serious?'

Because it is serious. It is the labour force participation rate. The official unemployment figures are not a true picture of unemployment. The figure taht counts s the labour force participation rate, not just claiming unemployment. There are millions not accounted for who have withdrawn themselves from the labour force.

'How is it saying that "nobody respects women more than me", when he self confessed to groping and there are reports of abuse, not a serious lie?'

That is a figure of speech like Blair saying "there is nobody more religious than me", not to be taken seriously

'How is accusing the Chinese of making up climate change, not a serious lie?'

That was a joke to make people laugh. You don't find it funny because you believe in climate change, but Trump fans were ROFL

'And how is saying that Obamacare is rotten, and he'll replace it with a much better system (while failing to say what it is), and then say he'll keep it, not a serious lie?'

He is not keeping it, he is keeping some aspects of it which he always said he would. The media teams have been lying to you deliberately. Saying it is rotten, is like saying "politicians are corrupt", that doesn't mean every single one of them is corrupt, for instance, obviously, Nigel Farage is not corrupt.

Lweji · 30/11/2016 20:40

He's not the only gaslighter.

InformalRoman · 30/11/2016 20:42

Just what I was thinking ...

Lweji · 30/11/2016 20:49

Ok, here's how bad the labour force is by comparison with previous years in the US.

It's gone down with the crisis but still higher than 40 years ago and longer.
But you'll notice that the decline has been of 4 percentual points. It's a tiny change.
www.tradingeconomics.com/united-states/labor-force-participation-rate

So, his claims that things are that bad are still lies.

Trump (Part 3)
claig · 30/11/2016 21:03

'So, his claims that things are that bad are still lies.'

That's what Hillary said. But Trump said "my ralies are huge because things are so bad, otherwise so many people would not be turning up"

"US workforce dropouts explain Donald Trump’s rise

Unless there is a drastic shift in policy, the labour participation rate will keep falling"

www.ft.com/content/5c8d0758-37c4-11e6-9a05-82a9b15a8ee7

Any more snide comments about "gaslighting"?

OP posts:
Lweji · 30/11/2016 21:07

Yes, because it's nowhere near as bad as he claimed.
The keep lowering is projection. The rate at which was lowering is slow (just a few percentage points, not over 15%).
And you'll notice that it had stopped declining.

So, definitely gaslighing.

"Record 94,708,000 Americans Not in Labor Force; Participation Rate Drops in May

By Susan Jones | June 3, 2016 | 8:49 AM EDT

The unemployment rate in May dropped to 4.7 percent, BLS reported, less than half of its Obama-era high of 10 percent in October 2009. But the labor force participation rate has deteriorated over Obama's two terms.(AP File Photo)

A record 94,708,000 Americans were not in the labor force in May 664,000 more than in April and the labor force participation rate dropped two-tenths of a point to 62.6 percent, near its 38-year low, the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Friday."

Geert Wilders still riding high in the Dutch polls.

For clarity, his Freedom Party are the ONLY party offering an EU referendum. Unless the EU come to their senses soon, 2017 may indeed see carnage across Europe.

Austria this weekend becomes even more important. If the MSM bombardment works and they defeat Hofer, then we know weve got 12 months of the same, youre all nazi white supremacist rubbish right up to the German elections next autumn. They'll also probably stick to their guns on Brexit.

If Hofer wins, the risk of several nations following is huge. The MSM machine failed. The EU may indeed start negotiations on controls on borders and returning some controls back to nation states. Without the military might of Obama, the uncompromising dictatorial EU may soon have no choice but to compromise.

Trump is doing so much, just by being President - Elect.
