The last one filled up quickly.

More discussion on the significance of Trump, Trumpism and the Trumpsters and what it all means for Blairites.

That analogy would only work if you changed the plot so that the traveller was another morlock (the morlockiest morlock ever) whose main concern was cutting Eloi rights, slashing the red tape around Eloi slaughter and giving the Morlocks a pay rise.

claig · 30/11/2016 15:21

But surely that would be Blair rather than Trump?

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 15:22

Good point Alyosha.

claig · 30/11/2016 15:22

Although, to be fair, Blair did do some good things, so it doesn't fit exactly.

Anyway Claig I thought you loved hackers? Why the hard line suddenly?

claig · 30/11/2016 15:26

No, I don't like hackers who hack US government stuff or our government stuff. Someone sent stuff to Wikileaks as far as I know. I don't think Assange is a hacker.

OP posts:
Alyosha · 30/11/2016 15:29

Well how did they get that stuff claig? Do you think it fell in their laps?

Russia said they helped out with the Wikileaks stuff...clearly saying they helped to hack!

claig · 30/11/2016 15:29

Of course Assange was a hacker when he was young and was arrested then in Australia. All sorts of conspiracy theories as to whether he is a "limited hangout", but I never had time to follow it and understand what the hell Assange was all about.

claig · 30/11/2016 15:30

Alexei, please use google, don't ask me.

OP posts:
Alyosha · 30/11/2016 15:31

Russia basically admitted to hacking the DNC, Podesta's emails.

And of course Wikileaks were handed stuff - by people who hacked!

Alyosha · 30/11/2016 15:31

I can ask you whatever I like claig, it is up to you whether or not you answer of course. :)

claig · 30/11/2016 15:40

Alexei, I will break my rule of not showing you what goes on for the sole pupose of getting you onto the same page as the rest of the informed posters on this thread, since it appears you are painfully way behind. Watch this video at least 3 times

Some good news- Trump has finally agreed not to run his business while president. He has not yet provided any details on how this will be done however, and claims he doesn't have to.

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 16:14

Trump loves hackers as long as their hacking Hillary. And as long as their Russian. He asked the Russians to hack her:
“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing, I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

  • Said at a news conference back in July.
Alyosha · 30/11/2016 16:23

Squishy..wait for the details. His children also shouldn't run it for it to be truly "blind".

claig · 30/11/2016 16:28

squishy, it was a joke. Trump is a master joke teller which is why Trump fans ROFL at Trump rallies. Trump rallies are a comic riot, the man is a comic genius.

'I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.'

By that he meanst that "the room full of liars" would have totally ignored the information because that were all in the tank for Hillary and praying that she would win because that is what their bosses and owners and sponsors were all praying for.

The press didn't want the people to win which is why Trump fans shouted at them "do your job, do your job", and young and old shouted "tell the truth" as well as "CNN sucks". But there was fat chance of that because they are the same as our lot.

It was the world elite vs Trump and the people, and the people won.

Problem for us and everyone else trying to understand claig, how can we possibly tell when he's joking or not...

But anyway claig, I will watch the video later.

Did you hear Trump is appointing the president of Goldman Sachs to the OMB?

So anti-elitist of him

I'm sure the elite are terrified of his massive tax cut.

claig · 30/11/2016 16:33

alexei, I broke my rule with you once, but no more. Please put your questions in Room 101.

OP posts:
squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 16:38

I can't tell when Trump is joking either, Alyosha. I think it might be whenever his comments are so controversial that even Claig can't support them....

Where is room 101 Claig? I don't think it's what you think it is. Are we going to have to go over the whole Orwell thing again, because I felt a bit embarassed on your behalf last time.

Southallgirl · 30/11/2016 16:41

I am perplexed about ex-GSachs guy being appointed but will hv to read up on Mnuchin.

claig · 30/11/2016 16:43

'I can't tell when Trump is joking either, '

Don't tell me you are a PPE, only they can't see the bleeding obvious when Trump is joking. Only the media pretended they didn't know Trump was joking which is why Trump fans knew they were "liars" and Trump rightly called them in for what insiders described as a "f...ing firing squad" in a half hour berating and dressing down where he rightly called them "a room full of liars".

'Where is room 101'

At the BBC, at the Department of Spin.

squishysquirmy · 30/11/2016 16:44

Ayosha, I am taking any sign that Trump might be beginning to realise that he can't just do whatever the hell he wants when he wants as a positive sign, but I'm not exactly optimistic right now.

Alyosha · 30/11/2016 16:44

Southall, no need to perplexed, Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do all along on his policies page of his website.

Deregulate banks, give the elite a massive tax cut.

Claig, as ever, you are free to respond to me or not :)

Alyosha · 30/11/2016 16:46

Go on then claig, tell us how we know Trump is joking o Oracle.

Squishy - re Goldman sachs stuff is just his game plan and it was there for all to read.

Claig & Southall probably just thought he was joking!

Southallgirl · 30/11/2016 16:46

It was a joke. These back-of-a-Zil chaps don't 'get' humour.
