And never allowed to win - or lose - a race. Everyone's a winner!
Then they realise......

claig · 15/11/2016 21:21

What the hell is going on in the world? People are laughing, elites are panicking.

Trump has started a revolution - a people's revolution. The elite's are funding protests to try and stop him and of course our Oxbridge teams at the Guardian, the BBC and all the rest are trying to stir up division by using the term "whitelash", but Trump is too smart for the lot of them.

US economist Michael Hudson on the Keiser Report starting at 13.17 into the stream says that Trump means the end of neoliberalism, the rise in real wages for workers and Trump going after the bankers big time. He says Trump stiffed the banks 6 times and no one does it better, and now he may stiff them again for the people.

And, the legendary Katie Hopkins, one of the most courageous not politically correct people in the entire country, may be getting her own TV show on Russia Today, and that has angered the left wingers at Russia Today.

"Hopkins has repeatedly spoken of her support for US president-elect Donald Trump, who praised her last December.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

The politicians of the U.K. should watch Katie Hopkins of Daily Mail.com on @FoxNews. Many people in the U.K. agree with me!
1:06 PM - 10 Dec 2015

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Thank you to respected columnist Katie Hopkins of Daily Mail.com for her powerful writing on the U.K.'s Muslim problems.
1:00 PM - 10 Dec 2015

"However, the second RT staff member insisted this was not a recent shift and that the channel was already appealing to right-wing viewers: “Many of channel’s viewers are anti-establishment right-wingers. UKIP-ers or further. They probably love Trump and they all think the BBC is basically a Westminster mouthpiece."

www.buzzfeed.com/jimwaterson/russia-today-staff-are-upset-the-channel-could-give-a-show-t?utm_term=.qixpPRbQ2#.qcxj78b1W

The elites are losing control. They are funding protests and Oxbridge teams are calling "whitelash", but Farage and Hopkins are now listened to by the President-Elect and Trump is still on top.

All the guns are out for Nigel here though...the UK doesn't like a winner.

claig · 15/11/2016 21:28

And Katie Hopkins is stirring it up as only she can in today's Daily Mail. Katie for PM

"KATIE HOPKINS: We've already heard enough prejudice from Theresa and Co about Trump, the last thing they can afford now is to be too proud to let Farage help build a trans-Atlantic bridge

Farage has good reason to laugh standing next to a smiling Donald Trump. He is the proud custodian of the best relationship we have with the 45th President of the United States of America.

Absolutely, Boredofbrexit, that's why Nick Clog is always interviewed on TV and taken seriously.

Remember spitting image David Owen and the other David? I always am reminded of that with Claggers. Instead of a breast pocket, he travels in Miriam's Birkin. Or merkin. Whatever.

claig · 15/11/2016 21:55

We keep hearing from the BBC that Miriam is some sort of great trade negotiator. Give me a break. Put Farage on the job! That way we'll get some good deals.

I think we will see the end of the EU qute quickly. My guess is that Trump and the new American team don't give two hoots about it and the Farage at Trump Tower thing is a sign that the EU game is over. Obama went to Germany and said that Merekel was his closest partner because Merkel is now the last stand against Trump and the past Obama worldview. But I think the tide of populism will eventually sweep Merkel out and then it will all be over.

"Europe stares, cluelessly, into Trump crystal ball

European diplomats on both sides of the Atlantic are scrambling to figure out who has U.S. president-elect Donald Trump’s ear on foreign policy and how he sees America’s role in the world.

EU foreign ministers will hold their first discussion of the shock U.S. election result in Brussels on Sunday night, during what diplomats have dubbed a “panic dinner,” ahead of more formal talks on European foreign and defense policy on Monday and Tuesday.

“We would never have had a similar dinner if Hillary Clinton had been elected. It shows just how much we’re panicking,” said a diplomat from one of the smaller EU states."

www.politico.eu/article/europe-stares-cluelessly-into-trump-crystal-ball/

The EU bigwigs, just like our political class, had hardly any contacts with Trump's transition team throughout his campaign because they were all too busy insulting him and thinking he could never make it.

Apparently, Steve Bannon, whom all our media and teams are now all insulting just like they insulted Trump, has reached out to Marine Le Pen's young niece, Marion Marechel Le Pen, to help her campaign etc

So it looks like Trump's team doesn't give a hoot about the EU, all their bigwigs and all their politically correct teams, and we may see a new world of independent, free countries all over Europe quite soon.

'some of the more venal politicians are going to realise that picking a fight with the new US President guarantees them exposure and will be popular, there has always been an undercurrent of Anti American resentment. '

That is a good point, but the problem they have got is that in a world of a populist rebellion, hardly anyone likes the political class apart from the media and the metropolitan elite. The political class are unpopular all across Europe and Trump has just shown the world that the people can be free of the whole politically correct lot of them and their stupid policies that they never ask the people about. I think the political class all across Europe will be in for a shock as the populist rebellion spreads and topples their teams.

They are busy "warning" Trump, but they are all paper tigers because the people don't like them.

Trump's rise is the start of a whole new world, the end of the EU, free, independent countries all across Europe, the end of political correctness, the end of Isis and all that and the start of better relations with Russia.

It is the end of the old ruling elite and all their teams and all their spin and lies. That is why their teams and media are deperately insulting Trump and Bannon, and their elites atre funding protests in the US and their best Oxbridge teams are pretending this is a "whitelash" in order to try and create divide and rule among the people.

Agree Claig. I think we might see an orchestration where TM continues to stir the stew while the pot boils over. No real point in rushing to fight your way out of something that is about to change substantially or even cease to exist.

claig · 16/11/2016 08:27

Absolutely, BoredofBrexit. Theresa May just has to wait as Trump ignores the EU and European people topple the grandiose structure and EU leaders all come running back to Theresa and ask her what deal she would like. Smile

OP posts:
BoredOfBrexit · 16/11/2016 08:43

Merkel seems to be considering EU wide changes to FOM principles. The bond collapse effect will be interesting too. And not hearing much these days from uncle junker or @theotherDonald.

claig · 16/11/2016 08:49

Yes, Merkel has to adapt quickly as it starts to collapse. Juncker said they have to "teach" Trump about Europe and 2 years will be wasted while he learns. These bureaucrats are a joke.

OP posts:
BoredOfBrexit · 16/11/2016 08:51

At the end of those two years our fees will stop. Guess who will be wasted then?

Grin Absolutely

OP posts:
Spinflight · 16/11/2016 09:01

End of the EU?

I doubt it. More likely give them a common enemy to rally around.

I can't say I would gleefully include Le Pen in the populist uprising for freedom lovers everywhere. Nor AfD, those cats are rather misunderstood.

They might see it as a way of clearing house, but it won't end the EU project.

claig · 16/11/2016 09:05

'More likely give them a common enemy to rally around.'

But they are the bigwigs, the bankers, the fat cats and the politically correct media teams. Without the people, they are paper tigers, just like what happened in America.

I think the American ruling elite have had enough of the EU bigwigs and with Trump in charge, populism will be encouraged all over Europe. I don't think Bannon, Trump's Chief of Strategy, will reach out to Hollande who said Trump makes him "retch" or to any of the other politically correct elites.

OP posts:
claig · 16/11/2016 09:12

Arron Banks is obviously exaggerating a bit, but America can do whatever it likes and Trump won't be "warned" by EU or NATO bigwigs and ex-politicians

"TRUMP’S MAY SNUB: New US president’s chief strategist will call Nigel Farage AHEAD of PM

NIGEL Farage will be the first to be consulted over British policy Donald Trump - before Theresa May - claims a top aide.
...
In a shocking admission that will set tongues wagging in Westminster, president-elect Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon will turn to the interim UKIP leader, claims the party’s millionaire donor Arron Banks.

He has stated Mr Farage will be the first to be called over policy proposals which will affect the UK - before the Prime Minister."
...
“When he opened the door it was like, ‘Come on in Nigel’. We just sat there chatting for an hour and we ended the meeting. They are as close as two people can be in politics.

“Nigel has a hotline to the president and the president’s chief adviser."

www.express.co.uk/news/uk/732726/Nigel-Farage-Donald-Trump-snub-Theresa-May-president-British-Brexit-policy

Trump doesn't suffer fools, which is why he likes Farage. Trump said we are led by "very, very stupid people", well the EU people are going to learn that Trump may have meant some of them. Smile

OP posts:
claig · 16/11/2016 09:19

What it is all about is "Americanism not globalism" as Trump always said. It is Trump vs the globalists, and the globalists' teams are still trying to attack Trump in the media and by encouraging protests against him.

But Trump won't play nice with the globalists which is why he will encourage populism across Europe and that will mean that the bigwigs and globalists will no longer be able to lecture Trump and talk about "warning" him or "teaching" him how things work. It is a new world, Trump World.

OP posts:
takesnoprisoners · 16/11/2016 09:41

Am I imagining a Farage statement saying "I will never vote for Hillary, not sure I will vote for Trump either"? I think Farage is wildly exaggerating his own importance.

I agree with Claig about the Katie Hopkins for PM idea. She is clever, articulate and does not lose her cool. I watched her rip apart Hala Gorani of CNN without raising a sweat. Hala could not make eye contact with Katie and kept shuffling papers and huffing and puffing and taking offence at the slightest thing.
