So where do the elite establishment journalists fit in again? I don't think many journalists fit into the 0.7%. In fact, I think a lot are relatively low paid.

claig · 25/11/2016 00:16

'So where do the elite establishment journalists fit in again? '

Have you read these threads explaining the Trumpocalypse. They are servants. Trump called them in on Monday and gave them a dressing down. He said they were "liars". Have you seen the report that it was like "a f...ing firing squad"

How does "tax cuts for the richest 1%" fit into that narrative, Claig?

Kaija · 25/11/2016 00:17

With his tax cuts for the top 1% Donald is clearly sticking it to the 0.7%. In favour of the next 0.3%

Kaija · 25/11/2016 00:17

Jinx

Kaija · 25/11/2016 00:18

They are servants? trump's servants? That's clearly what he's aiming for.

squishysquirmy · 25/11/2016 00:18

Yes. I have heard all about that meeting. I don't think it was a victory for "free speech" and "the people". I think it was an incredibly powerful billionaire stamping his foot and trying to bully the press.

Kaija · 25/11/2016 00:19

That's certainly how it quacks

claig · 25/11/2016 00:23

'How does "tax cuts for the richest 1%" fit into that narrative, Claig?'

Because it will generate growth. They will spend it and invest it and create jobs for people. They have more money than anyone else so if their tax is cut by a small percentage, it is a large amount of money and they will spend and invest it.

Trump is going to create a boom in America, he said he will be the "biggest job creator in US history". The elites don't like it because they want to keep the people down, offshore all their jobs and keep them poor, but with Trump in charge, their game is up.

Trump is cutting taxes all round in order to create a boom in order to give people jobs and a good future. That is why the elites have set their media teams on him to call him all the names under the sun while they suck up to the Saudis.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Oh Claig, you are really spoiling us.

"The people" aren't going to fall for that old chestnut again.

squishysquirmy · 25/11/2016 00:25

So we have approx 51,800,000 (or should that be 51,799,999 excluding Trump?) elites who are in control (are they the same as Southall's "corporate"?)
Then the world's journalists are their servants.
And then there is "academia" who are not Universities per se, but write white papers or something,
and then "religion", like the pope who are wheeled out to make controversial statements like "Christianity is about building bridges, not walls".

Is that correct? Because forgive me, but it sounds pretty far fetched and nonsensical.

squishysquirmy · 25/11/2016 00:26

Rich people like to build their houses on hills. They carry a lot of change in their pockets. Naturally, this means that any change they drop rolls down the hills, to be collected by the poor. Perfect!

"The Media Lost All of Its Political Power Last Night -- Thank You, Donald Trump!"

The morally dark Obama-era is over and utterly and totally repudiated. The Clintons have finally and forever been staked in their mercenary black hearts. Our smug, supremacist overlords in the Elite Establishment of both Parties, these rotting, rent-seeking parasites, are now vanquished. But nothing is grander, nothing is more glorious, nothing is more satisfying, nothing is sweeter, nothing is more validating, nothing is better for America than the death of the mainstream media's political power.

The elite national political media is done as a force, moral or otherwise, in this country. Done. Buried. Exposed. Over. Out. And using a slow-acting poison called hubris, it was death by suicide. So smug. So sure of themselves. So sanctimonious. So snark-filled. So utterly incapable of anything close to self-reflection.

Trump showed them on Monday. They lied to the American people, they shilled for Hillary, they smeared Trump, they said he didn't stand a chance, they didn't report half of the Wikileaks stuff and didn't investigate much. Trump called them out as "liars" and the American people know it is true.

OP posts:
squishysquirmy · 25/11/2016 00:29

"They will spend it and invest it and create jobs for people" - wait, are these still the same elites that want to control and impoverish "the people"?
They sound quite the contrary bunch.

claig · 25/11/2016 00:29

'Because forgive me, but it sounds pretty far fetched and nonsensical.'

I agree that your summary does sound nonsensical.

Stewart Lee on this week now talking about fake news

squishysquirmy · 25/11/2016 00:30

I thought you didn't like name calling? Confused

Kaija · 25/11/2016 00:30

"these rotting, rent-seeking parasites"

There's Trump again. This is like where's wally.

squishysquirmy · 25/11/2016 00:32

"So smug. So sure of themselves. So sanctimonious. So snark-filled. So utterly incapable of anything close to self-reflection."
There he is again.

claig · 25/11/2016 00:33

'Stewart Lee on this week now talking about fake news'

He is an expert on that from the shows that I have heard.

'I thought you didn't like name calling?'

I don't, I am only repeating the word you used about Southall's and my posts "nonsensical".

OP posts:
squishysquirmy · 25/11/2016 00:34

"nonsense" isn't name calling. I meant this bit: ...been staked in their mercenary black hearts. Our smug, supremacist overlords in the Elite Establishment of both Parties, these rotting, rent-seeking parasites...

Kaija · 25/11/2016 00:35

Thought I was going to have to call you a fascist again for that appalling paragraph, but I see you were just quoting a Breitbart fascist.

As you were.

Kaija · 25/11/2016 00:36

He is something of an expert, yes Claig, I'm glad you've recognised that.

squishysquirmy · 25/11/2016 00:37

And are the top 1% trying to impoverish and control the people, or are they going to use their tax cut to invest in and employ the people?
